what do you mean? the resource has all of the stuff needed for it - overview, commands, faq, instructions, discussion etc. an entire sub-section for 1 resource is a bit over kill
@jb321 do you feel the need for your own subsection for TCS(next)?
 
I'm not even going to get started on what it's like to search these endless forums. But this is just me, half the time I don't even know what I'm searching for.

My intent is to have video docs embedded in the instructions and I am not sure who has access to edit the wiki, but if a few people can work on that as well, it may be useful?

or MQ2DanNet Broadcast.. where it sends the same query to all toons simultaneously and whichever one responds first with the amount of items is selected..

    • /dobserve <name> -q <query> [-o <result>]
  • Reading an observer's data: ${DanNet[<name>].Observe[<query>]} or ${DanNet[<name>].O[<query>]}
  • Dropping an observer: /dobserve <name> -q <query> -drop
  • result is optional if no out variable is needed (or not executing from a macro)

I respectively disagree. This thread is more active than many resources that have their own forums (like Kiss). Arguably it's more complicated to use as well (definitely harder significantly harder to use than something like mq2rogue). Just separating the out the short term noise of new user support and bugs, from the quality posts would be immensely useful. There is probably some good information in the 50+ pages that nobody can ever find.

I feel you here. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and still haven't really figured how to use it effectively. I'm on the fence about whether or not it really needs a dedicated forum. If there were instructions or guides somewhere it might be enough. As it is now, it's hard to find useful information.

Fortunately it's a 20 year license, so I should be able to figure it out before I have to renew.
 
Is 1000 the max that can be requested from other toons if I need 1500, he only brings 1000 unless I request the item again.

Just realized I spent an hour crafting vegetables when I had 2000 of them in my inventory. Hate when that happens.

When trying to do tradeskill combines on Riz (Surprise!)

Trying to make Jaded Silver Ring (Silver + Jade), but it does not allow a combine. Gives me the yellow/orange "Craft" button. I have 31 skill, and it's a 40 skill combine. I can manually do the combine in my jewelry kit and get skillups from it, but the Lua won't do the combine, and nothing is missing. I'm actually finding quite a few JC combines it won't allow, even with the ingredients.

Note: and yes I have the number required or more for the combines requested.

Note2: The Artisan Tab automatically crashes the Lua, because it's looking for a "Max_Trophy_Table" it can't find. And subsequent loads chain crash, as it keeps trying to open on that tab as well.

Folks, the prize.db file is always the cause for the max trophy table missing.. it needs to be in the Lua tcn directory, if you reloaded, or copied to a new machine, that is your issue..

I fixed it up, when I was testing I set the skill level to anything 54 and under when I had it set to LT 1 originally..

But at least now it will tell you if you have no skill..

yea I wondered about that. I went and put 1 point into everything, but that hadn't fixed it.

Thanks for the reminder on the db, I forgot this was a new system and I hadn't made that move yet.
 
Recipes that try to go to Stratos fail regularly on Riz, because it's a 105-110 zone. Not sure there's any easy fix, because the ingredients it's looking for typically don't have another vendor source, they're usually farmed at this point, but just an fyi. Maybe at least a fail out at this point saying the zone isn't available and you'll need to farm the drop, as a print, instead of running to PoT and trying to zone to Stratos, and dying at that point without a message?

Also, when trying to buy "X brick/block/piece of High Quality" ore's from the vendors in PoK, and they've already been bought out, the Lua hangs, and doesn't try an alternate vendor, nor give a fail message when it can't find the ingredient.

I wanted to report a bug.
I managed to stack the UI for info on top of the regular window for crafting... but the problem is that they are both fighting to be on top, teh the system is constanly toggling and the UI is irresponsive. you can see how th overlays are fighting on the screenshot.. and i cant turn it off because i cant click the info buttonEq bug.png
 
Do anyone how to reset the window location of the Lua windows?

PS: i ended up nuking the file Macro_overlay.ini and that reseted everythign but it would be nice for the windows not to fight each other.

If you have continue on, of course it will cycle endlessly. I am not able to predict what is in stock, but I can do a hard exit/pause..

I would not characterize this as a bug as much as I would say it is more of an unintended use or scenario. I can take a look but no promises at this time. If you dock at bottom or top it does not seem to have issues..

In the instructions tab for the resource I have linked the overview so that should always be the place to look for that..

Next time just hold the left mouse down on the tab and drag it back out of the dock.
