166343 Consigned Bite of the Shissar XXI https://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=166434nm as i wrote that post it happened again
I love it when a plan comes together.reloaded and reupdated everything its working now sorry

hard situation to describe in a way that makes sense probably.
doing pottery today and i kept getting "you must place items in this object in order to create something new" and not trying to go in experiment mode and having to manually hit "combine" once i manually hit "experiment". i realized after a while it is because it still had glaze mortar open, and was likely "seeing" combine was already available and trying to click the combine on the empty container, rather than the thing we were trying to use, like the kiln or jewelry bench
here is the Pottery table open, but not clicked experiment yet
the glaze mortar container open beside it
then trying to use the enviro container to place things in (but it isn't in experiment

once i manually click experiment
it places the items in the environment container, but tries to click the glaze container

it is also pretty uncommon for me to get all the way through crafting without having to manually exit and re-open a container --- edit, and so far it looks like every pottern combine
i just had it try and run the artisan pottery stuff, wasn't doing anything specificIf you are trying or your recipe requires to use the wheel/kiln at mortar it should open them up and use as needed. What are you trying to make? and I take it there is a reason to have both containers open at the same time? I've done a crapton of pottery and never seen this. I've seen those kind of errors before.
The way TCN operates is in a linear fashion where I try to do one thing at a time and then do the next thing but not multiple things at once, just a practice of mine when doing the skills.
Which recipe is this, does it require both containers for pottery or it just opened both?i just had it try and run the artisan pottery stuff, wasn't doing anything specific
I can try and recreate it but I need to know the recipe that requires the glaze mortar.. there are 15 that use it, I will pick one at random... or more precisely one I have mats for to make.Which recipe is this, does it require both containers for pottery or it just opened both?
i'm not sure, i was just having it to the artisan stuff as i mentioned, it was having issues getting the mortar glaze, and when i grabbed it it made whatever and then went on to have issues (it didn't get put back).I can try and recreate it but I need to know the recipe that requires the glaze mortar.. there are 15 that use it, I will pick one at random... or more precisely one I have mats for to make.
Well , using the most candor, I equate it to the windows 98 screen saver, that , if , left on long enough would just wreck shop and lock up the PC. I've had TCN run for hours without issue, and then I try to make a recipe like Faydwer Shaker and it CTDs every time and then I switch to Minotaur Hero Brew and it works like a champ. It is quite difficult to chase down ghosts and gremlins, I posit a bit and go with that. "Leakage" for lack of a better word is my guess, I am pretty sure we can run the same code 100 times and it won't do it differently, but I have been seeing some weirdness lately. I've had instances where I will tell it to print a variable from an array and it won't do it, but if I spam it 5 or 6 times in the lines of code it works. So , some strange things are afoot, at least for me. My conspiracy tin-foil hat guess is DB sabotage!i'm not sure, i was just having it to the artisan stuff as i mentioned, it was having issues getting the mortar glaze, and when i grabbed it it made whatever and then went on to have issues (it didn't get put back).
I'll probably start up again later and if i get hung up i'll take not of what/where - but pottery crafting in particular, even after the mortar glaze was put away had issues ~1/3rd of the time requiring me to manually close and reopen it
Been using this for a couple of days now and I must say, very impressive. I mean holy cow!
The interface was a bit daunting at first, but easier as I become more familiar with it and the functions is give access to.
I did find a couple of bugs ...
I was next to Small Bank when I ran these.
Beginner Tailor Trophy:
When looking at the shopping list, High Quality Cat and Bear pelts are requested for the Small Tattered Gloves and Tattered Shoulderpads.
The algorithm then makes a skinning knife and chops them down to tattered.
And, it makes a new skinning knife for each downgrade. I ended up with several skinning knives.
Jewelcraft:
When making a combine that required the Round Cut Tool (first time character had used a JC cut tool), it ran to stratos to buy it.
I knew there was a Square Cut Tool at Jeweler Nonny that could have been used but let it run as I was curious.
Then as a test, with the Round Cut Tool in my inventory, asked it to make Trillion Cut gem, again it tried to run off to Stratos.
At that point I stopped it and converted the Round Cut Tool to a Trillion Cut Tool. Asked it to do I trillion cut, this time it was happy and used what was in the inventory.
I also tested a square cut. Toon bought it from Nonny.
Hope this is replicable for you, and not just some random weirdness on my machine / account.

If they are on the net of dans, and all is working, it should cycle through the whole list. I've never tested 15 but 6 does work, for sure..Is there a max number of toons that can be queried for missing items? Scenario - I have 15 toons in my guild hall all loaded up with a variety of TS items, but when I ask for items it doesn't seem to ask everyone/ask everyone's bank. I know this because it doesn't pull items from toons I know have them. Or is it that they dont have - say - 132 diamonds, which I need, and they only have 118. so it takes none of them? It would be nice if it would pull items regardless of whether or not they have ALL the items you need. This is for Artisan 350 stuff.

It does go from 1 to mq.TLO.DanNet.PeerCount() , the only requirement being they need to be on the same server and same zone and there needs to be a bank in the zone.. it asks each one until it finds and item or checks the bank, if a toon satisfies the request it should skip to the next item on the list.
I have a couple of things I am working on, 1 is highlighting and adding tool components to mass lists, but only if they require a drop or a class/race. I am also taking a look at the portable glaze mortar to see if I can get it to mess up. also some UI tradeskill enhancements. .. a way to sell ALL tradeskill items on your character that are vendor purchased but not food/drink or diamonds/batteries or other high dollar items.I had 12 on and it did it just fine
Yup, for the second toon I gave him ruined pelts.-- More like a by design for the skinning, but the multiple knives, that is not expected.. If you have a ruined pelt it should use that, otherwise it will try to skin a higher pelt..
This is not a bug, I decided a long time ago instead of fooling around with 2 jewel tools to just get 1 of each it will make everything. I didn't want to keep track of tool states and what tool to convert to what at least for the current roadmap.
yep tried it with my watered down GUI less Lua and it used the mortar properly. because of course.. why wouldn't it!? Back to the drawing board.. I made agonizing glaze..i'm not sure, i was just having it to the artisan stuff as i mentioned, it was having issues getting the mortar glaze, and when i grabbed it it made whatever and then went on to have issues (it didn't get put back).

I have a limiter on there to only make the exact required tool and no more, but I turn it off for the quests because they make 2 or more of the same tool.. so I need to put in some logic to say yes, but no, but maybe.Yup, for the second toon I gave him ruined pelts.
And yeah, I understand the design choice for the cut tool.
Cheers for responding so quick.
I have had this similar thing happen. I could just manually open the box and place the item and it would pick back up. I chalked it up to being in the background. Never had it happen while in the foreground though.hard situation to describe in a way that makes sense probably.

The focus issues I have had are NAV related, where it would overshoot locations...I have had this similar thing happen. I could just manually open the box and place the item and it would pick back up. I chalked it up to being in the background. Never had it happen while in the foreground though.

not it :PSome of you have been bringing up valid issues, and it is appreciated, however, some of you should be a guest on ancient aliens with your wild theories about what is an issue..
My only wild theory is that YOU sir might be an alien with your high level of understanding and code insanity for this awesome tool you make. Some of you have been bringing up valid issues, and it is appreciated, however, some of you should be a guest on ancient aliens with your wild theories about what is an issue..

I dunno if I want to update anymore, I hit the perfect number of updates...

If I am correct the CTD's are sent to the devs automatically. If it is behavior based I can usually troubleshoot it based on screen shots from the script. If it is a CTD, it is something I don't readily have access to knowing other than it crashed in eq.exe or mq2lua.dll or whatever the message says.@jb321 So first time trying this out. I started to test with a small 50 batch of a pottery recipe. I bought the ingredients and finally figured out it wasn't doing anything because it was waiting for me to select the subcombine. After figuring that out it started running to the guild hall and when it clicked the door the client crashed. Not sure if a coincidence or if something in the program. Any recommendations?
EDIT: Sadly I think tcg is causing the crashes. Do you want me to send you the crash report? I just crashed again. This time while crafting in the guild hall
I've been wondering if I should just pause all TCSNeXt related scripts when zoning and then have them start up again after 30-60 seconds. Not sure if that would solve the problem..so a few weeks ago...maybe last weekend I was running this and I CTD when zoning in to the GH. I did not think anything of it really but I @Sic looked at the dump for me and best we could tell was it was not from mq2lua. I am not sure if he recalls looking at the dump or not but I still have it.

but it might be worth a test to just go to the GL and then pause and then zone into NGH..
I can probably make a loop to run to GH and GL and back, and can see if it crashes with just NAV, but then that would maybe rule out TCSNeXt, but if it does crash, it adds more credence to pausing while zoning.. or least have a do while to wait for zone, but it does that alreadylet me know if you need me for anything.
