Shei Camp - Automatically Get Shei Mission in Maidens Eye, Zone in, Nav to Camp, and Kill!

This is my first attempt at making anything really. But this will allow you to automatically get the Shei mission if in ME, zone in, double invis (Thanks to Hylander's double invis Lua), Navigate to a relatively safe camp location, set camp and some pulling parameters and begin. This is meant to be ran from your tank and works best with the CWTN plugins. Also please make sure that you have MQ2Boxr going as well, as I have used these commands to communicate across toons. Here is one I did a while back. Might be of some use. Also uses CWTN plugins , you can run kissassist on first run on other toons. There is a sheicampfire.Lua that will teleport toons back to camp. I used that on my rezzer. This will loop the instance over and over.

edit: This should be run on the Tank / Group Leader :) and the sheicampfire can be run on any toons in the group preferably the rezzer. Take your group to the quest giver and run /Lua run shei

I have taken some advice and tried to clean things up get rid of assumptions. Please read through the .Lua and look at comments throughout as there may be things you'd like to change.

Right off. I agree, posted a [picture and putting an X on the mark is asking for potential trouble. So after spending half a day playing around in the Zone I will say that;

1) It's a great place to camp a group. Zone into the small party instance and just like most dungeons, you have a zone with mobs that re-pop quite often and you can establish a camp area quite nicely to enable continual pulling/killing/AA xp.

2) Depending on your group make up, capability (tank, dps etc) to split and mez, I'd say there is a very nice range of locations. I've found one for now where I had to split 4 mobs, but now I'm able to continually pull 1-2 mobs at a time and take them down quite fast. AA Xp at 119-120 is satisfying. I currently Woking with a pull radius of 400 (quite small imo compared to area/mobs available, so nice scaling for different teams.

3) This is not for loot. Go camp a named or three if your looking to equip characters.
 
This is a very nice script! I have been testing it for a few days now and have had very few problems with it at all.

At first, my toons were still pretty low aa, so my cleric kept finding herself taking a dirt-nap a few times per instance... to help with this, I used the "Easy.Lua" fellowship to campfire option to return her upon death. To ensure that there was always a campfire in the current zone, and not left in an expired instance, I added a couple functions to the "sheicamp.Lua" script to destroy and reset the campfire, and then added a call to destroy the campfire when the task has been dropped, then create a campfire when the buffing pause has finished just before pulls are started.

After these small additions, I have been able to run it smoothly and am extremely happy! (note that my trouble was not with this script, but rather with my under-equipped, low aa team that doesn't exactly have an optimal composition)
 
I may be a bit behind the times on this, but is this mission different now from when it came out? Is Shei basically right above you when you zone in now?

I think she has always been on that pedestal up the ramp when you zone in. I don't recall her in a different spot.

The Shei Mission hasnt changed.

This Lua is not about actually killing Shei - its about XP grinding in the Shei instance -- though it wouldnt take much to change the nav point to Shei and start the event.

Will this script leave instance before it ends? Also, there is a perma-rooted mob should be ignored (a worthy sacrifice) just south of camp at the throne.

Not sure the exact circumstances, but Apon zoning in the bard was twisting songs via kissassist.
Once i removed the classes not using Ctwn just like the script tells u to, the shaman fired right up with kissassist. This Lua is amazing u did a very practical thing that everyone needs, hands down congrats.
 
The script does that. I modified it for my group, where I just used the MQ2War puller tank mode to make a camp right at the zone in, and made a ton of AA's from this before LS came out.

The only caveat to doing it that way was I had to put the 2 mobs at the zone in on the ignore list to make sure I did not try to pull them :)
