Love the latest update.
Recommendation for the new "Select highest exp rewards" feature: Normalize the experience gained against the time that it takes to run that quest.
A 24 hour research quest may provide 1%, a 6 hour military quest 0.5%, and the LUA is choosing the longer research quest when 4 6 hours could be completed for a 2% gain.
03 hour quests * 8
06 hour quests * 4
12 hour quests * 2
24 hour quests * 1
Thanks, Ladon.
The idea for the latest Select Highest was specifically to bank them and not spend so when an expansion/bonus weekend comes out, you're sitting on /rewards with the highest individual Exp Bang-for-buck.
I've actually done a bunch of thinking on the "Maximize Exp" topic for years - but the problem comes down to how often you run quests.
If you run Overseer 24/7, then one type of quest duration/ratio are better.
If you run once a day, then another.
Once every few days...
I'd be happy for any suggestions as to how to solve this. Maybe an option list people can choose between, with ideas like yours one of them: "Maximize Exp Ratio Per Run" or whatever.
Or "How often do I run Overseer?" "Always, often, daily, weekly, etc..." and help optimize that way.
If anyone is curious to see what the true numbers and options are, there's a database now of every quest I've seen. It grows with each update - but you can open in a viewer (i.e. "DB Browser for SQLite") and see them, query, etc...
Notes: successRate isn't populated, and experience may be SLIGHTLY off what you see due to character's level at that time (but generally really close)
