anything that isnt a named.Any specific mob?
Could be any number of things.
You have switch with MA set, and the MA is a paladin who keeps targeting themselves.
You are also running a macro, a react, or other automation that is doing stuff for you that is conflicting with the plugin.
are two things that come to mind.
Only time that ever happened to me was if I turned on attack when the mob is outside of the camp radius.my MQ2War keeps dropping target on raids. Not sure what the deal is. I get the mob, hit attack, and target will drop. Using Sictank, tank, manual, vorpal, etc. Just randomly dropping targets.
I had campradius everything from 0 to 300 today. Nothing worked. Having campradius too high makes me attack mobs i dont want agro on.Only time that ever happened to me was if I turned on attack when the mob is outside of the camp radius.
Maxing out camp radius fixed it
May we have a toggle for Commanding Voice line? On Rizlona, this is basically a 20 endurance/tick drain that you cannot avoid while tanking. Performing no other actions (no Bazu Bellow, no Ancient: Chaos Cry, no Cyclone Blade, etc) a nearly-top tier tank will be out of endurance in 66 minutes. Adding in the usage of other tank abilities considerably hastens this. Thank you for the consideration.
I'll look into it. Definitely don't need double posts thoIs there a toggle to turn on and off commanding voice? Or is that just lumped into the flow chart of "do tank things"?
.cwtn plugins will also set your group role if you are group leader and in a role that would justify needing that role.I didn't say it wasn't, just a funny story (to me anyway). I didn't notice I wasn't MT (or register its importance at the time) since I think kissassist on my leader normally sets it, not sure why it got lost. The only thing that could have helped was if the warrior UI mentioned what role it was in somewhere as my focus was on MQ2War. What it does makes sense, just not quite idiot proof.

Sic, is there a war to have independent interactions between two tanks within raid mode?from the mq2war overview > here <

if you are on the settings tab, it tells you your settings including the mode you're in

you are only going to do tankstuff when you're supposed to do tank stuff.
this is very intentional and working as intended.
There is no offtank role.Sic, is there a war to have independent interactions between two tanks within raid mode?
I.e. Warrior in raid is main tank, I have an SK I want to off tank if say an add spawns. Do I just need to have one set as MT and manually play one? Or how would I set it up? I couldn't quite find this specifically, so I'm sorry if this question has been asked and/or I'm misinterpreting it in this response.
Thank you, Sic. I figured as much but wanted to double check! Appreciate the assist as always.There is no offtank role.
Drive a toon in manual (assigned as main tank in group window or sicktank mode and pick your target (you're not target locked)
You can use Dannet or eqbc to tell it to attack the mob at whatever xtarget slot you want from the toon you're currently driving, etc.Thank you, Sic. I figured as much but wanted to double check! Appreciate the assist as always.
Howdy rygmonHi guys, I'm v close to pulling the trigger on this but wanted to ask - is there any way to test it out? Like 8 hrs try before ?
Got a 112 warrior in group gear 8k ac. And I'm hoping this helps me get to the next level tanking ability.
Is it hugely obvious the difference between this and say rgmercs ?
Thank you and any advice/ real life moves compared to rgmercs would be appreciated.
Conscious because if I make the leap here, I'll likely also have to subscribe to redguides as my cents disappear hehe so wanted to be sure.
Thank you.
all plugins have a discussion thread, please make sure to post them in the correct location - otherwise you create extra work for meGreetings all,
My MQ2War is pulling fine but it's not using my Staff of Viral Flux, rather it's running up and hitting the mob. I have DisablePullAbility checked which, if I'm reading it correctly, should cause it to use the staff if it's defined. Which it is.
[Clickies]
Clicky0=Staff of Viral Flux|pullitem
Clicky1=Jann's Veil|downtime
Clicky2=Ice Bound Ulthork|downtime
Clicky3=Crown of Feathers Nimbus|downtime
Clicky4=Violet Conch of the Tempest|downtime
Is something wrong? Am I misreading how DisablePullAbility works? Or am I missing something else in my config (which I don't know what to look for)?
Thanks.

mq2war does not have a "pull ability", so that option doesn't toggle anything,
View attachment 40586
in this instance, there isn't one "normally designated for your class".
it would use your pull item - but more than likely you're in a place that it doesn't find line of sight to do so until it is close enough to the mob it wants to face pull it anyhow. we don't roam around looking for line of sight, we look for line of sight as we're navigating on the way to the mob
yup, if we don't have line of sight to use the pull item, we can't use the pull item to pull the mob, so definitely expected.Sorry about posting in the wrong place.
So I looked at the logs (usually the first step but today it wasn't for some reason) and it seems it's using the Staff sometimes. Gut punch other times, just whacking it other times. And those times it does use the staff it still runs all the way up to the mob. I thought the idea of a pull stick was to avoid that first hit out in the field.
If this is expected behavior then that's fine, it just seemed to me it would use staff at a distance for each pull.
Thanks.

sometimes mobs feet are under the floor just slightly and mq will be like "nah can't see this dude"
i already explained how it goesMaybe I am wrong. But it seems like its a LoS check then goes whap mob. Whereas if I was doing it manually I would move until LoS then pull with range and only resort to whapping as a final option. But maybe its more nuanced than that, it works well enough for me not to care a ton.

no, turning of useaoe means it doesn't do its aoe damaging abilities. - using rampage requires useaoe turned on and your number of xtargets to be equal or greater than your aoe countIs there a way to manage adds/mobs on the wrong toon in a warriorbot in a group that doesnt have Mez? I know turning on AoE works a little, but (as a person who plays on a pvp server) i cant have my warrior rampaging in the middle of a pvp open zone. Possibly an MQ2react or something? I dunno, just trying to deal with nomez situations.
I figured, I have my warrior set as pullertank and it keeps leaving stragglers when it pulls exactly 2 creatures, ramp/AE taunt is down, or hurricane blades doesn't work. When it pulls 3, I can mash AE taunt or do something stupid to get agro... when it pulls 2, which is basically every pull it doesnt pull 3+, it never gets the aggro on the 2nd one. Stragglers end up beating on my cleric (who the current one Im working on) cannot tank a mob yet as it is under geared. As classplugins cannot dump agro/fade, I gotta keep an eye on it. I run expanse almost constantly, sometimes that means my cleric dies cause it has higher agro than expanse can pull. I had to add a paladin to the group so it would get agro on them instead of my cleric.no, turning of useaoe means it doesn't do its aoe damaging abilities. - using rampage requires useaoe turned on and your number of xtargets to be equal or greater than your aoe count
so if you want rampage you can turn on useaoe and adjust your aoe count to the number you want to do aoe stuff at
there is no direct pvp support, as you know
you should likely consider turning off use precision and leaving use expanse on - they share a timer. precision makes you get moar healz, expanse makes you aoe aggro when healed
you are also not target locked as a warrior assuming you're in manual or in a tanking mode, so if you want to change targets you can freely do so
