MQ2War

Plugin - MQ2War (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

Plugin mq2war could not be loaded.
Tryed to reboot comp, update mq2, update all plugins, still having that issue, the plugin refuses to load.
 
Got MrPatate sorted. Was possibly corrupted download.

If this happens to you, go to the MQ2 folder and delete the plugin. Once it's been deleted, then go to the launcher and reinstall the plugin to get a fresh copy of it. That sorted his issue out in this case.
 
With store bought illusion Polymorph Wand: Fallen Knight, when I add this to /war addclickly downtime it spams it non stop. If I use Guise of Deceiver it does not. Not sure if this is a know issue or if I'm doing something wrong.

the addclicky on the illusion - we are looking for the buff from it specifically (not the illusion portion), which for fallen knight is "Benefit Azia Mk. II". is there a reason that doesn't take hold? like a different buff in your illusion keyring, or you have a higher lvl version?
 
Anyone had issues with MQ2War just....stops chasing things? I noticed a couple times that when a mob starts running sometimes my MQ2War just....stops chasing and looks at the mob run away? Had it cause wipes a couple times so far. My monk (mq2monk) and bard (KA) are still chasing the mob but my war is like "that's cool"?

Heard something about it to do with a mob popping or suddenly being seen less than 10ft from your MQ2War and it just...breaks?? Changing modes from Puller Tank or Sic Tank to Manual and back seems to fix it?

where did you hear? - all the assist/chasing/tanking logic is common across the plugin suite.

It was a comment i heard on discord when discussing issues about MQ2War on Rizlona. Something about a known issue where the war just stops doing anything/chasing/etc.

well i helped someone who was having an issue who didn't actually have their tank set to ma/mt in the group window - which would cause the tank to still do pull type stuff but not engage the mob.

We do, however, have some sticking updates coming in the next patch - its possible that your issue is already corrected.

if you're able to reproduce the steps let us know about it and we'll check it out

If you're in a pullertank mode and you run out to hit a mob, and that mob is low enough health on the initial pull that they start running, the warrior will return to camp, and the mob just wanders the zone until they have enough health to try to run back to the camp. If you're hitting mobs for enough health they run on the pull then puller tank isn't ideal as there is no "mob is running" detection. Though you would be able to use HunterTank for that situation since the warrior doesn't return to camp once they have aggro.
 
With MQ2war is there a way to turn off taunt and provoke? On TLP with mode set to assist still provokes and taunt same when you have raid mode on. If you need me to send some shots of MQ2war doing it during a raid lmk. We truly love MQ2war for what we need when its set to puller tank or just tank but for other things we've been having to switch between Mq2war and kissassist with mq2melee and turning things off. If

Currently the tank plugins are set to do their tank stuff including taunt if they are set to maintank or main assist - chat and I were talking about this today - I believe the intention is to change it to be based off of what your mode is set to rather than your group tag

This would be so amazing for my situation. My current raid group of mostly non-boxers is struggling with numbers. To help out, I started bringing my whole crew. They split off my warrior and cleric for the tank group and I'm usually not the group leader so I'm unable to assign roles myself. I have to ask the local group leader to give me ma role. Most people just do it, but some think it's odd and one person tried telling me it would confuse the rest of the raid. Being able to force aggro stuffs or not simply by changing modes on the fly would be so next level for me.

I do want this to be altered. Originally I was having everything go based on group role. I mean, this is boxing software, not raiding software. I do try to make reasonable accommodations when I can, however.

I'm tied up quite a bit with RL stuff for roughly the next 10 days, so I'll be a little sporadic. It is on my list of things to do however.
 
I've noted there is a toggle for using battle leap for zerker but I do not see the same toggle for mq2war (and I tried the same /war usebattleleap off with no success). Would it be possible to add that toggle for warriors as well? There are certain areas I go to where it causes more problems than the extra dps helps.
 
Hmm, mine only battle leaps once when first entering a zone to get the buff up
 
Should be all it does is once for the buff. Regardless of usebattleleap on zerker it still does it once for the buff. But berzerker uses it for other reasons also. So it needs a toggle.
 
Maybe on live servers it's different? I play on TLP and currently battle has a 60 second cooldown and lasts for 6 seconds. It casts battle leap every minute when the aa cooldown is gone. Currently in SoF battle leap is only 2/14 possible aa points so I suspect at somepoint it lasts way longer or indefinitely as some have mentioned.

Probably an isolated problem for lower levels / tlp, but if the option is built in for zerks and is somewhat convertible to mq2war it would be much appreciated. A screenshot of current level is included.

Thanks Sic. If it's a problem no worries, was just a quality of life thing that matters for maybe 2-3 locations I like to exp. Didn't know if anyone else had issues so figured I'd mention it.
 
If it helps it looks like the permanent effect goes live with SoD and max ranks at rank #8 which turns it to a permanent buff.

I did a stationary camp where I pull with my bard and use war mode tank to pick up mobs once they're in camp. Worked as advertised. Then I tried roving, where I drive warrior instead of bard. Zerker goes chaseassist mode and the ka characters turn on the ka chaseMA mode. Now here I'd previously put the warrior in manual mode and drive myself. I noticed it not doing aggro things in mode 0, with or without group roles set. I experimented with mode sictank, and I think this will work for me. It let me control movement without leashing back to a predefined camp and also appeared to allow me to switch targets without fighting me. Am I right to assume that if I want to drive movement and target selection, that sictank mode is the way to go?

if you are tagged as maintank in your group it will still do the tank threat stuff regardless of mode

you will be "tanking" if you are maintank in group assignment, or in mode tank, pullertank, sictank, or huntertank

I role around in manual mode when i have my dudes on chase. and usually use sictank if i'm driving manually at a camp

Got it. I was toggling the MA role, not MT role, for testing purposes.
 
I have a couple of Questions in general.

1. Is this set up level by level? as in level 1 then level 2 and level 3 and so on (character level)
2. Does the plugin tell you or let you know if you are missing a disc, AA, spell, or clicky?
3. When you level will it go and get whatever disc, AA, Spell, or clicky item you need for that level so that it works at top efficiency or at least let you know what is needed?
 
it let me know when i hit lvl 5 that i was missing elbow strike the second i dinged lvl 5. I had the book in inventory. So i read the book and the plugin was happy -- I hope this answers 3 for you.

My Huntman's Ethereal Quiver appears to no longer auto summon arrows like it did before. When I tried to addclicky it said the item is already on addclicky list. Any idea what might be the issue?

what value do you have it summoning to?

if 100, it will only summon if you have less than 100 - if you set it to 1, then it won't summon until you have less than 1

i do 101, just because i like having an extra stack lol (so initially it will summon twice, for 200 arrows)

Like you I have it summon 101. It used to summon twice whenever I logged in the game before but now it doesn't seem to do that anymore. Had to manually do it now.

I have just noticed one problem. I don't think I've ever seen it use Fortitude or Furious disciplines. I have my war marked as MA/MT in group and he won't use them in either manual, tank, or pullertank roles, or any role for that matter.

If this is supposed to be able to be used with the plugin, what are the conditions as to when they should fire off?

Any idea why it may no be getting triggered?
