Plugin - MQ2War (5 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

Just started using this. I like to target mobs on map and pull with chanter pet. Ive tried different modes on war, had chanter set as ma, puller etc but when the mob gets into camp warrior will just sit there. What should my settings be for this? Thanks in advance!
 
is there a way to make his engage area bigger? thanks for the response on xmas day btw and merry xmas! <3
 
you need only increase the campradius.

/war campradius ##

where ## is the size of the camp. The camp should be depicted by a red circle on the in game map. Using just /war campradius, by itself should return the current radius of the camp.
 
I am still getting random crashes while running MQ2War. No dump files or anything, just crash to desktop only on the one account.
 
Sadly without a dump file it's super hard to track down the issue as I have no indication as to where in the ~5500 lines of code I should be looking to make a correction to fix the issue.
 
Warrior keep using battle leap over and er on each fight. Something remove the buff
 
@MrPatate i had this behavior and went crazy nnuts because of it in valsehra camp and some other places in tower of frozen shadow .. it would aggro through floors and such ...
the reason for me was my BST in group casting bestial alignement V which overwrites Battle leap. hence if you have a BST just block best alignement V on the war.
i already done these feedbacks to chat - no clue if gonna add a condition for this in mq2war or jsut on the faq but it was really a nightmare for me indeed ...
 
@ChatWithThisName I clicked the purple mark that is put down when u load the plugin for warrior and CTD , also in Crystal caverns when you pull the spiderling grp's of 3 if i have a mob in camp warrior darts out on the map to go after that target any way to bypass that? im just trying to keep a mob in camp at all times
 
the purple locations listed on the map for camp/pullradius are a feature of mq2map called maploc. I can't say I've ever clicked one, but if it does crash to desktop, would need to send the dump to mule I believe.
 
Has anyone else noticed that MQ2War and Berzerker will not engage "a restless dracholine" in EW? KA and IHC engage, but I have to manually engage them on those two toons
 
yeah having the problem on dracho, the range of attack on dracho is huge so war always out of range to engage it, i have to do it manually
 
Having an issue where my warrior is set up as PullerTank.
She pulls like a mad woman (140 mobs per hour) except for a couple of hiccups.
The area we're in has these small trees and some mobs up on ledges.
The puller will run up to be in range of this one mob and stop. The extra distance that she travels from being told to stop and actually stopping puts her behind a tree and unable to hit the mob.
Same thing on the ledge, she runs up to the ledge to get in range and goes just that little bit to far and now the ledge is blocking her range attack.
In either case a tap on the back key brings her into range and all is good.
However, if I'm not looking or listening she can get hung on not being able to hit the mob.
I was working in the garage and hadn't checked on the group for a few hours, she had been locked on the one mob for almost the entire two hours, spamming "Unable to hit that from here" or something to that effect.

Would it be possible to put something like a watchdog timer on the pull routine?
If the pull takes longer than a certain time then drop that target, return to camp and pull something else.

I have been aware of line of sight issues with the pulling routine to an extent. The issue is that MQ2 is being told that the character has line of sight from them to the creature they are trying to pull. But for some reason LineOfSight doesn't Equal being able to hit it with a bow. If I can't find a more elegant solution to the problem then I will look into the timer. However in the mean time I recommend placing any creatures you encounter this issue with on ignore by targeting this mob and typing /war ignore
 
Just checking here, is there a reason sometimes in manual mode the Warrior will use Offensive Disc instead of Stand(Mit Line) on Yellow named mobs in ToV?

hrm, we're working on something for all the "fake named" mobs in places like kael,

but the code will only use the offensive discs if you are not assigned as maintank or main assist
 
Yeah the fake named problem in kael is funny. It uses disc and burn on normal mob and has all down when real named pop.
The only solution i found out, (and not sure 100% it works atm) is to disable burn on kiss and mq2class plugin, to fire it manually with the commands.

I've been putting together a temporary solution for that, not sure when the next update/push happens but we'll have something in place to help with that nonsense lol

Haha well, i won't say that the disc on non named don't help. Some hits like a truck, and even more if it's not single pull. And we can't mez in kael :P So it can be helpful sometimes :)
 
Hi guys - glyphs are not being used on war (tank mode / puller-tank , did not try in assist mode) - Glyph of Dragon Scales 115+ that is :)
and yep i did /war useglyph on and yes i had glyph AA available -- disc ID has been updated for lvl 115 its 5104 (5103 and 5303 was used in sic's inis so i guess its probably the same here)
side note - for mq2berzerker same story the glyph id is 5304 (previously was 5303 for destruction glyph)

the new glyph rank hasn't been added in yet - and there is an eq issue with the glyph at 114 that the glyph says between 110-114, but you can't use it at 114
 
at 115 - max aa - you would likely want to burn these AA using glyphs and it works at this level. From 111 to 114 though you are right i could not use any glyph. but this being said it would work if you are 115 and using the right glyph ID or i am mistaken ?

I had some really strange problems with the dragons in EW today about 50% of them the tank would not engage until I cycled the tank mode. I went from mode 4 to mode 7 and back then he would attack.

you need to increase your war campradius --- the dragons are very large - so it is possible for you to be getting hit by them and them to be outside your camp radius - i change mine to like 90 to fight the dracho dudes

I was just waiting for eq to update their stuff - I already have preliminary changes in there - I can push a temp fix and then do another fix when dbg updates

if that new location is actually further away than the campradius then war wont even engage after being resed the mob being in "group camp"

so every time my tank is resed i have to switch to manual mode , run him back to his expected location then turn pullertank mode back on.

is there a way to avoid having the tank reseting its camp location after being resed ? or its an unexpected behavior ?

this is intentional - and frequently requested since people often drag to a spot to rez up.
you really want your cleric doing a /corpse before it rezzes you

There is a "SicTank Mode" /war mode 7 --- i believe it is already in the live version. This doesn't do sitting, but sets a camp where you are at and then does tank stuff based on that camp setting. Vorpal mode is assistmode without returning to camp - so its not really a tank mode

I use this as a "manual pulling and not sitting down in camp" kind of mode to avoid the circumstances you're talking about and the fact that sometimes, even if i have a puller - I like to bow pull a mob quickly if i see one

Dumb question, but where do I set up what he pulls with? I want to use bow but he runs out and physically aggroes mobs and runs back.

if you have a bow equipped with ammo in your ranged slot - he will use that - if you don't, he won't.

keep in mind that the ToV bows are also broken with no range atm, so will only use the range of your arrows (lol)
 
I noticed going through available options a command named 'RkIIPurchase' - I turned it on, but nothing happened. I thought maybe it would use runes in inventory and then pick out disciplines I still had rank 1, so I made sure to have some in inventory. What is the correct way to use it?

the use rkII is for if you are silver, but you have purchsed the "use rank 2 abilities" from the market place
