MQ2Shaman

Plugin - MQ2Shaman (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Quick question, my shaman for no reason keeps removing his helm and cloak. I put them back on check later and both are off again. Any idea what could be doing this? This is only toon that this happens to.
this is eq - not mq2shaman.

it all but certainly means you have duplicate lore-group augments in your gear

It’s probably the anniversary tower augs. You already have one of the previous year versions equipped. They are lore grouped.

It's telling me i have to accept terms and conditions to purchase a license, however there's no checkbox or anything (my license ran out during the month)

Edit: It's because i was trying to purchase more than one at a time Druid/shaman together there is no checkbox but when i went to purchase individually its there

not auto buffing sta/agi/str/avatar - Recognizing the spells under Spells & Discs -
Sta - Talisman of Vehemence Rk. II
Agi - Talisman of Foresight Rk. III
Str - Talisman of Might - This one is wrong though as foresight does a better version
Avatar - Champion

Is auto buffing focus/regen/lioness/shrink

the old tali spells we don't cast on anyone who is not less than level 80 and we're less than level 100
we only use the old avatar spell if we're less than 85 and useavatar is on - you can turn on useavatar (wont be visible if you're too high) and byos and we'll use it --- but a waste.

all of that is on purpose

I was wondering why my shaman doesn't heal at all some days and some days it works, ok. Cleric heals like a champ, shammy doesn't heal at all, won't even mem healing spells unless i set it to BYOB and even than it heals like a 4 year old todler. Standard out of the box settings. ANy idea what is going on?

THanks

The only way for this to be is you are invis or you are paused

Make sure to check the sticky

Please see >>> Getting Started with CWTN plugins! (Movement, UI Window, Clickies, Pulling, ETC) Check Here First! <<<

It is only going to break invis if you have usemelee on and it has a target that meets the assist conditions.

The characters are 80. Curious why they dont use the old tali spells

80 is not less than 80

"the old tali spells we don't cast on anyone less than level 80 and we're less than level 100"

So if the entire group is 80. and we don't cast on anyone less than 80 (which no one in the group is...because they are all 80). Why would it not cast them?

It should be casting on a Talisman stat buffs on a full group of 80s then according to your statement. (and logic because there is nothing to replace those buffs in the 80 to 100 range).

I'm messing around on test/reading through threads for changes I've missed, about to rebuy all the plugins and saw this, so was curious myself. It doesn't buff a full group of 80s with talismans.

think there's a typo. sorry about that

lvl 1 - 79 we cast those lower level stuff (assuming we're not over 99 ourselves)

Feb 21, 2021
MQ2Shaman - Mid lvl GAgi/STAgi adjustment
- Will now limit the level we check for the GAgi and STAgi spells on.-- this helps with stacking issues in the 80s and 90s where mq2 says spells stack and you need the buff, but end up in an overwriting buff fight.

This was added a month after "full-release" based on feedback. I'm not married to "79" being it, i would be open to allowing 80 (and stopping there), but it was added on purpose 5 years ago :p

That would def explain the confusion lol.

Personally for me (and I'm sure the OP for this question) it would be ideal to still use them at least at 80, and maybe even 85, as they are still important buffs in that level range (I'll be using them in Secrets of Faydwer so =P). At the very least Vehemence and Foresight. (might is replaced by Foresight)

ok cool - talk it out with me --- lvl 81 you should get it built-in with Unity of the Spirits and 85 for the group version Talisman of Unity with SoD
80 would cover that cause SoF is 80, and SoD is 85

Yep that sounds correct. Had been a while since I'd done these expansions or had to worry about this lol. It appears that the current issue is only level 80. So if we're able to move that single buff routine from stopping at level 80, to stopping at level 81 (as Unity takes care of it at that point as you stated) it should solve the issue. (I loaded up some lower characters and deleveled the shaman once, and it seems like it buffs perfectly fine if you are level 75.

Great, I pushed that stuff, so next build will have that

What a hero. Appreciate it!
yeah dude, i really appreciate you walkin through it with me!

i'm not sure when next build will fire off - redbot has been working a lot of extra time working on new build pipelines, so hopefully today or tomorrow

Looks like you changed it! Sorry was gone for the day! Yea at level 80 those buffs are still valuable! I can see why they arent past 80 though! Thanks a ton!

Some feedback after testing.

lvl 76-80 testing.

Shaman is not:

Casting or keeping Champion up.
Casting or keeping Cougar melee proc up in combat.
Rebuffing group, especially Agi (Foresight) and single Bloodworg hp buff, or hp regen - im not 80 yet (also dont have unity yet, next expac)

I also have group shrink turned off on the settings page yet he is still clicking Umbracite Swam Orb (group shrink clicky set on clicky section, should i remove it entirely?)

As far as i can tell I have all the settings set for him to do/not do these things, if not please advise.

Yes, you added a clicky that you don't want!to use, so remove it or deactivate it.

Re: buffing.. go setup framelimiter, it really sounds like a good chunk of the things you think are broken are just a background performance problem.

Mq can't do "work" if your background toons aren't getting the resources they need.

Thank you, I'll remove that clicky!
I was just confused between that, and the settings page where u can toggle groupshrink (I thought those were connected)

Framelimiter as I mentioned in other thread has been in use at about 60 and working fine for like 3 years running manually, and 4 months using MQ, I don't think thats the issue.
Plus most toons are on their own PC alone most of the time.

the useshrink and groupshrink options are for spells/aas that do shrinking, not clickies that you added

Hello,

First I apologies if this is obvious and I am just missing it.

I have:
Downloaded Redfetch
Have a level two sub to the site
Have placed the shm.dll into the mq2 plugin folder
Updated Redfetch

MQ2 runs but it wont load the class plug in. Help you are my only hope!

I am going to add this to any other geriatric gamer.

you need to load the plug in ingame with a command that can be found in the instruction area of your class specific post

Howdy magefury,

Glad you figured it out.

Don't "place files". Always let redfetch place it. Some resources have other additional files that need to be placed correctly - redfetch handles that for you.

The instructions tab of the resource is also a good place to start, in this case it tells you to load the plugin

If i have talisman of the stalwart rk 2 or 3 from someone else, sham with only rk one keeps trying to spam buff it
turn off useregen if you dont want to cast that spell (which is easier than just blocking it) - spells that says it stacks and you're missing you're gonna try and cast

Playing on TLP. Level 80 shaman just obtained a Fabled Shaded Cloak last night. Equipped it today. Shaman stuck in loop of chain casting the click effect Counteract Disease on self. Tried adding it to the clicky list and deactivating it. Didn't stop it. Stripped all spell effects from character, so see if it was interpreting a buff as an effect that needed curing. Didn't stop it. changing loadout from heal to hybrid or DPS doesn't stop it. Tried unequipping it and keeping it in bag instead. Didn't stop it. Tried setting "/shm usecures 0", didn't stop it. I also possess a Fabled Phoenix Claw Talisman, which has the clicky effect Abolish Disease, and have not experienced the same behavior with that item. Tried searching for any forum references to the Fabled Shaded Cloak to see if anyone else had experienced this in the past, and did not see anything relevant. Any insight into things I can do to stop this besides stowing the item permanently in my bank would be greatly appreciated.

howdy Higlac - sorry about that, thanks for letting us know.

yeah just go to your downtime tab, find the clicky and "deactivate".

I'll add this as an item we don't automatically add to downtime

I didn't notice it had added to the downtime clicky category. I tried manually adding it to the cures clicky list and deactivating it there. That didn't work. Deactivating it in downtime did the trick. As does adding Counteract Disease to my blocked spell list, but I like your fix more. Thanks, Sic.
