Can you double check your blocked buffs, and your rank of your Pact of the Wolf
 
Pact of the wolf was maxed. I clicked off the aura in the blocked buffs window and then re blocked it and it worked fine.

What was odd I was had over a dozen red heart icons in my blocked buffs window and they were all unknown spells. And I had random non shaman spells, like Shield of the magi. Not sure how that happened. But everything is normal now so thank you.

The hearts is an eq bug that has been around for a while.

Re: blocked buff - sounds like you had an older rank blocked or something.

Hi this is happening now with invoke pact of the wolf form 1 - happening in and out of combat - aura comes on then come off and nothing seems to stop it - level 130 shaman

ok, removed all wolf form blocked buffs, and blocked group pact of the wolf form and it fixed it - pact of the wolf from didnt
 
I have the form blocked, I'm assuming it was spamming because you're also removing the illusion - I'll add this form to the forms we don't give a shit about for purposes of recasting
 
Hello, sorry if this has already been posted but I noticed cwtn shaman is using the old progressive spell Dissident Roar (lvl 106) over Composite Roar (lvl 111) and Ecliptic Roar (lvl 116) on my level 120 shaman. I have max rank 6 on all 3 of these spells. Thank you

its in the FAQ, it should be matching with your BP, to give it a extra tick duration (BP are tied to many classes key spells)
 
Q. Why am i Using Composite over Ecliptic or Ecliptic over Reciprocal?
A. We will use the version that matches your double duration BP (if you have one).
 
Thank you for the quick reply, I was using Waning Gibbous Spiritwalker Coat from ToL Tier1 and it has Dissident and Composite listed on it but was still using the weaker Dissident spell. I have a shaman with NoS T1 bp Spiritwalker Coat that lists both Composite and Ecliptic Roar and uses the weaker Composite. I just spent currency to make NoS T2 bp Spectral Luclinite. It lists Composite and Ecliptic and it's now meming Ecliptic Roar for me. So it looks like there's only an issue with T1 BPs meming the weaker of the two spells it gives a focus for.
*edit* - also found a T2 ToL BP Luclinite Coagulated on my other shaman, this lists both Dissident Roar and Composite Roar, but it's only memming the worse version, Dissident Roar.

see this is why "how to ask for help" is important.

these might be coats that they later updated to include the newer spells that they didn't start with.

Thanks for looking into this, however, I don't think the fix is working. My shaman has Spiritwalker Cloak of Spectral Luminosity (T1 raid), I try to mem Eclipitic Roar (max rank), and she goes right back to loading Composite Roar (weaker spell). If I mem the spell with BYOS, she won't cast it.

you can't just memorize something *else*
byos doesn't cast stuff that you randomly memorize either - it allows you to change your loadout from the spells it says we use.

i didn't check Spiritwalker Cloak because you were talking about Waning Gibbous Spiritwalker Coat

I'll go through all the bps and check.

i don't plan on rebuilding it just for this tho.

Thank you for the speedy response, but the first scenario Prion post was for the NoS Spectral Spiritwalker cloak. I realize I can't force cwtn to cast whatever spell I want with BYOS, but I had made an assumption all the progressive spells could be used. When I double checked, it was very wrong in my assumption. I understand balancing effort vs reward and this is a situation not impacting many people.

1 person is enough to take time out of my day to fix it --- actually 0 people is enough. I found a weird situation that hadnt been reported but spent a few hours chasing it down and correcting it =p
 
When I logged in today, all my other MQ2 plug ins are fine. But I get this.

I camped out to desk top, closed everything, relaunched everything from start, but the issue continues.

that's weird - I can't think of any reason we'd unload you.

you're running the RG version of MQ right? not self build, no some other "trust me bro" build? cause probably won't work on not-RG build
I'd check you don't have something else unloading you.

dunno then - all the "loading and stuff" is all part of our library - meaning it is all the shared same code (not copy paste, the same code), so there's also no further reason why it would be unloading just shaman.

but yeah, off the top of my head the only reason it would unload is if it wasn't matching the build and instead of potential crashes and reports of "broken shit", we require it to be the signed RG build

i'd check you don't have a hotkey or some other script unloading it
 
Im not pressing anything. Straight from the launcher there is no MQ2Shaman window.

load plugin, mq2shaman window pops up then unloads.

This and all my other plug ins were working no problem 6 hours ago
 
checked my shammies using the rg build / rg shipped mq2shaman working just fine :'(
i don't have a really good idea for you other than a Lua/lem/event/macro/something unloading shaman
 
Having an odd issue - my Shaman immediately clears/deselects any target I click on. In order to have them interact with anything, I need to pause the plugin or set the mode to Manual (from Chase, the Assist mode also has the deselection issue) so they don't immediately untarget the target. My other characters are also running CWTN plugins and don't have this issue. I unticked all the checkbox settings to see if one of them was causing it but the behavior persists. Not a huge deal but I thought I'd ask about it.

this is correct, this is how the priests/casters work and it is intentional

yep np. there's a bunch of reasons - but basically we never want the "switchwithma" toons to get caught with their pants down, and since the priests/casters can't turn that off, they always will if they are doing something the plugin didn't tell them to do (target, etc)
 
Quick question, my shaman for no reason keeps removing his helm and cloak. I put them back on check later and both are off again. Any idea what could be doing this? This is only toon that this happens to.
