Plugin - MQ2Shaman (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Hey all, I am trying to get my shaman to caster champion and panther on the group. I have Avatar toggled on and ge will load champ and load panther but he won't cast it on anyone.

Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.
Please make sure to post in the respective discussion thread, and check the FAQ/Commands/Wiki for information before posting.

We cast GAvatar on melee characters.

We cast Lioness on the MA, then on the Melee toons.

you didn't post in the right location making me move it and let you know
you didn't provide enough relative information to answer your question without a bunch of guesses (please see the "how to ask for help" in the sticky I'll link).
like:
- what toons you expect it on, classes, levels, blocked buffs
- when you expect it
-- lioness we cast in combat, for example
- regular avatar (not group avatar) we only cast it out of combat if it isn't the version that requires an emerald, etc.
- if you read/watched and understand the FAQ/vid about buffing requires (at this time) local toons samepc/same mq install)

I'm going to assume (because you didn't say otherwise) that the toons aren't "local" (same pc, same mq install) as your shaman, because that would prevent it

I just downloaded MQ2Shaman and when running the plugin it is constantly spamming "Using AA: Pact of the Wolf". Does anyone have a solution to get this AA to stop attempting to be used? I have blocked this effect on all my toons/pets.

what exactly did you block?

please read the "how to ask for help" in the sticky and give some more information on whom (levels, what blocked buffs everyone has etc)

I had blocked from the song window: 'Spell: Pact of the Wolf Form' on all characters. I actually just went in and unblocked it on every character and now my Shaman only uses the AA once and stops. Is there a way to block the werewolf illusion instead of trying to block the spell so that I do not come across this problem?

Also, sorry if this is a dumb question, but when you say 'sticky' what do you mean? I was looking all over for the "how to ask for help" so I can make sure to ask correctly going forward.

and yes, block the illusion. pact of the wolf form --- i hate all those illusions so i keep them blocked too

in the sticky above, in the hotkeys, i have some easy hotkeys to block a bunch of illusions on characters.

Mode has nothing to do with it. Just what you have epic usage set to.

Combat, it hasn’t used it once. Epic 2.0 just to verify

as previously discussed, the CWTN plugins will use your epic automaticity. for shamans u can use /ShmEpic 1 this will enable you to utilize your epic



/ShmEpic 0 = will never use your epic
/ShmEpic 1 = during burns
/ShmEpic 2 = during combat

can you provide any more information that might help you?
we care about mobs on xtarget for purposes of "am i in combat" do you somehow have all your xtargets turned off / blocked?

did you change it to be disabled (outside of the shmepic setting)?

here's me using mine as expected, never had it not be used as expected

I just got the 2.0 on my shaman persona, and am noticing that the epic isn't being clicked. In a raid with two other shaman with identical settings who are clicking as expected, the difference seems to be persona related.

I'll play around with some scenerios to see if I can get it to trigger.

Level 95 on Rizlona, when plugin loads it correctly identifies the epic. Swapped between load outs and epic (never, combat, burn) without sucess. Xtarget is set to auto for all slots, mobs are populating from slot 1 as expected.

Will get some screenies to show casting.

well, i certainly hope that sillyfingers didn't leave out that important piece of information that it is persona-related - cause that's an unfortunate waste of my time this Christmas day :'(

when we use an item we're just /useitem "blah of blah" after checking that the item is ready.

so if there's some eq/mq related interaction that isn't working, unfortunately that's not something that we can directly control in mq2shaman

I noticed the ber (also a persona) wasn't using his 2.0 either. I added both to addclicky offensive and they are firing, so maybe something about personas is throwing things off.

Wanted to report back that with the latest patch it seems to have fixed the behavior, and epics are firing with the auto added special entries.

awesome - i was curious about that, was an issue with the new clicky handling and going to 1.5 to 2.0 would have kept the old entry for the 1.5

hi TJ,

you can turn off usesow if you don't want to use the sow line of spells/AAs.

it would behoove you to check out sticky with particular interest in the "how to ask for help" so you can provide more information to help you on the root cause, and the commands tab so you can see that a command exists to turn off usage

aka i dont run all characters on 1 machine, i tried a shared folder to sync up for buffs etc but the stuttering was pronounced due to latency.
Im trying to find a way to keep def slow proc on the tank, other buffs i can handle manually thats fine.
Currently i just have a hotkey to send a tell to my shaman to buff, i was wondering fi i could use xtarget buffing to get arround this all on one PC limitation ?

The only way is to run the chars on the same computer.

Allthough I guess you could make a simple macro that probably wont interfere too much with the plugin, if its just that one buff (that is memmed anyway).

no.

we check the people on xtarget, they have to be local toons on your local plc running cwtnbuffs

A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetHealing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then heal them at the NotMA # you have

you could also create a lem or somesuch on the person you want to be buffed that sends a /dgtell shamantoon buffme blah using mq2buffme

Running into an oddity probably not related to the imgui.
My MQ2Shaman and my MQ2Necro are both spamming pet backoff.
It was happening in ggh and in guild lobby, decided hmm maybe it's just some weird happenstance in those two zones, checked other zones, same thing.
Edit: My MQ2Eskay is not spamming pet backoff and he does indeed have a pet up.

Ok so kind of a predicament here and I can’t seem to get it to reset, I’ve tried camping, camp desktop, and it will not reset, I’ve tried loading and unloading etc. so I manually resized the window, minimized it and dragged it to where I wanted it, when I expanded it, just stretched to take up half my screen and now I can not horizontally resize the window, any help would be appreciated.

I deleted the image because it had your character name.

You docked the window, you should be able to drag the bar off - or you can go eq button -> mq button -> overlay and clear overlay settings to reset everything
