yup, we're going to use lioness on your MA and then on your melee toons.

you'll want to either byos and not memorize it, or just block the spell on the toons you do't want it on as cwtn said.
 
Interesting, it never occurred to me that blocking it on the recipient would prevent it from being cast. Good to know, thanks.

please make sure you check out the getting started stuff.

there is a ui guide as well as FAQ (which includes things about the ui).

if you're missing that piece of information you're missing a ton of other information that is going to be necessary for you to get the most enjoyment out of the plugins.

when you load the plugin for the very first time it will tell you that you need to reload your eq UI

We stop using the STHaste and Haste lines after a while, because Haste is lvl 63, and GHaste Talisman of Celerity is 64, and these have mq2 stacking issues with higher level buffs when you get into "modern era" like the one you get from focus or from other haste line spells, so we don't try and use them at all at higher level

Once you get to lvl 111, your SingleFocus unity of the Kromrif will cast symbol of celerity and 115 your GroupFocus will have Symbol of Celerity (and this usage is just based off of your UseFocus

Apologies if I missed it somewhere else in the thread, but I just watched my shaman cast Talisman of Celerity, then Unity where Talisman got overwritten by Symbol. He was buffing a newly rezzed toon after I just grouped everyone up and I don't have the new group Unity yet so it was single casts of Unity of the Vampyre. Do I have a setting misconfigured somewhere?

I'm not sure what your question is.

if you don't have the highest group focus (talisman of the usurper), you will use Single Focus (Unity of the Vampyre)

if you have on usehaste it will check for usage of the talisman of celerity AA (not the SPELL version of single haste, swift like the wind - or group haste, talisman of celerity ) as the very last buff check it does, or if you are byos it will check it during downtime (since we don't check other buffs that require memorizing spells in byos)

so if you don't want to use any of the focus lines of spells you can /shm usefocus off
if you don't want to use any haste you can /shm usehaste off

Sorry for being unclear. I thought I saw a usehaste command earlier in the thread, but didn't see it in the ui so thought it might have been removed for some logic. I must have that on without knowing. I was trying to report a bug that he cast talisman of celerity and then unity, but was also trying to provide as much info as possible for the bug report. I'll check usehaste next time I log in, thanks Sic!
 
Hey Sic - I just purchased today and when I try and change mode, I am met with error-Invalid mode in the plugin output. I am not sure if related to update, my level (30), or what. I was grouped with my other toon, same thing.

EQ just did a major update bringing their client to 64 bit. This meant RQ/VV/CWTN had lots of hurdles to overcome making it live. Things aren't going to work right probably for a couple days it sounds like from previous post from Sic. They're working on ironing out the kinks. However, you'll probably run into errors until that happens. It does seem poopy you bought it today and can't use it. However, I can promise you it's a great plug in, as all of them are. It'll just be a little bit of time and everything will be working again and you won't regret your purchase!

I 6 box with the CWTN plugs and I only know how to play 1 and a half of those characters lol, however I can kill ToL tier 2 named.

it might be a few days before things are back to normal.

mq has some crashes and bugs atm. We have been taking down and putting it back as updates from the MQ devs become available

it is likely to be a little touch and go since everything is brand new 64bit.

thanks for understanding - we'll have it back up asap


That particular issue was something that was fixed with build 177 and beyond so you should be good there since you have patched since

Thanks guys! Kudos for all your hard work. I need to read the guide videos today. I was experimenting a little and was confused on how camp worked. Initially everything looked good, but then I had a spot where I took my main a little further in, did come to me, my shaman navved there fine, but then instantly ran back to the old camp. Today will be a research day I think.

yes, if you have a camp and move out of it, you will move back to it

For some reason, my shaman seemingly randomly disables and then quickly re-enables the Languid Bite AA and has been for as long as I can remember. Not a big issue because ultimately she casts it. Just annoying...and I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I'm not tech savvy. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Its something you WANT it to do, if it didn't, it would cause you more problems than you can think :) Read the spell / AA description and you'll see why :)

edit: nm maybe im thinking of another spell... ignore me!

Is there a way to toggle for the Spirit of the Jaguar line? My shm is too busy casting it on everyone in the group and letting my tank die and going oom after 2 fights.

Block it?
Q. I don't want the plugin to cast xyz buff on a toon.
A. Any buff you don't want cast upon someone, you would just have that character add it to their blocked buffs.

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)
