MQ2Shaman

Plugin - MQ2Shaman (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Pardon me for the dated information - guess that will teach me to try and help.
appreciate the effort, but the flood of messages about stuff that is announced and stickied with updated and as accurate information as possible really hinders my days, unfortunately :(

this wasn't a "go and run into traffic" kind of "nope" it was a "no that is not correct information you are providing there, Homie, my friend" - so I'm sorry if it came across that way.

I understand SIC and sorry to add to your workload when the goal was to take away :)

But it wasn't a total loss, I did get the part right about the plugins working with Next. :xd:

damn right you did, and damn right they do! (i think i said before but your avatar always brings me a smile, so keep on postin).

CWTN and i frequently joke in voice chat about your "Hommie don't play dat"

Ok, I need to change how I do things on kissassist char.

How do you deal with mana rods (using them)?

FYI, this plugin rocks big time.

For those that switch from kiss-assist and need mana rods done. I wrote this for react plugin, I hope this helps someone.

Manaroduse:
action: /useitem Radiant Modulation Shard
condition: ${Me.PctMana} < 90 && ${Me.PctHPs} > 30

Redbot updated MQ2Shaman with a new update entry:

20211020

- Will now output your target if you're using a rez stick.
- (Next) Will no longer try and squall if we don't have LoS on our squall target.
- Updated lower lvl loadout to ensure we have mending loaded in gem1 if nothing else.
- Updated to use HexDoT preferably over ColdDD where we can for gem 5.

Read the rest of this update entry...

I'm having trouble getting my shaman to cast slow / debuff my targets. I haven't gotten my tank box levelled up yet and am maining a mage but I don't feel like that should affect anything. Does anyone have any advice on how to set things up when you are maining a pet class like a mage? I've tried all different combinations of stances and modes and the only one that I can get him to use slow on is DPS mode. I'm setting my mage is MA in the group etc. Not sure what else I could / should be doing to get things to work better.

the shaman has to have a main assist assigned to do stuff like getting a target and doing things to it

the mob still needs to be within your campradius, and at your health threshold, so make sure those are adjusted appropriately.

if the mob isn't in your camp you won't do those things

I've had him set as MA + MT. Do they still have to be in camp radius if I have him set to vorpal? I've had him slow a few times but never anywhere close to consistently so I think something else may be taking priority but I don't know what. I've toggled down the threshold for healing (for all targets) all the way down to 50-60% and nothing seems to help as well as canni. If it helps at all the shaman is lvl 102.

yes. they have to be within your campradius. for vorpal that is just used as the distance from you. but yes. they have to be within a determined ranged otherwise we'd just try and fight anything since we'd have no way to say "fight these thigns and not these things". imagine if you had usemelee on and you just willy nilly ran across the zone to fight something. that's not cool

if the mobs aren't consistently being inside your campradius distance. then yup it isn't going to consistently do stuff to them.

dirinking tonight so maybe im msising something. why is my shm chain casting spirit of tala'tak and how can i stop it?
you probably have some other toon overwriting with another runspeed. you shouldn't do that.

and since you are drinking, just a friendly > MQ2Shaman FAQ <

we actually check against stacking and run speed value - so it is pretty unlikely we're just willy nilly spam casting it

yeah i do run a bard. im not sure why ive never noticed it before.

I've noticed this when the spell is too powerful for a lower level character. My shm will just keep casting over and over again to no avail.

you will want to either block like chat said, or go in byos so it doesn't do memorization buffs.

there's nothing in spell data that says "this is the max level this can go on."

I think I finally figured out my issue because I was still having it even when making sure to park mobs in camp radius. He was around lvl 100ish when I was having the problem and still in heroic gear. Once he hit 105 and I could equip all the t2 eok gear I had accumulated on him it seems to have cleared up and now he's operating beautifully! Thanks for your plugins Sic they rock!

in a raid setting, how do i get my shaman to cast Champion on other groups?
If they are on the same PC, should do it when set to raid mode.

If not on same PC, manually. some other tools can do remote buffing, the CWTN line doesnt support it (currently, maybe never will? thats a Chat or Sic topic).

I'm on same PC. I have 2 shamans, one is casting ferine avatar as expected (no champion yet), other is not casting champion at all when not in combat.

our check just checks for avatar (to use avatar), raidmode (to cast on raidmembers), that person to be a melee toon, obviously cwtnbuffs, and I'll need to look into why (because i don't remember the reason) but specifically not group_v1 target type, which champion is, so in the mean time you will have to add melee people to xtarget with xtarget buffing on until i can determine why we skipped group_v1 specifically

edit: super yesteryear, like forever ago, group v1 used to be actual group only, but it isn't any more, it just doesn't allow non-buff spells to go to other groups, and doesn't allow mgb of a group v1.

I'll spend some time and see, we might be able to just remove the v1 ignoring all together since we would specifically be looking for group buffs anyhow, and not non-buffs and we're not mgbing

Great info, nice workaround, i'll implement that today, thanks! I'll test it out, but i also don't think he is casting on his own group at all, at least not out of combat for sure, which is when we need this casted (and in combat if able).

edit- xtar buffing works, but he will not buff his own group unless you put a member of your group on xtar

that's because of how raid buffing works. if you're in raid it checks everyone using the aforementioned checking, instead of when you're in a group and not in raidmode, otherwise it would be checking your group people twice

When I first downloaded the plugin and did a /plugin mq2shaman I would get the mq2shaman window with the clickable options n such. Now it seems nothign I do makes the window reappear. I've done /reload. Camped out, left game, restarted comp, reloaded mq2, and still no window when I load the plugin. I'm certain this is going to end up being a ridiculously simple fix but so far I can't figure it out. I've watched Sic's video () and looked through several pages of this thread and searched for window, shaman window, settings, set, load, reload. If it is obvious and I'm just blind I would be grateful for any redirect as this plugin is just terrific!!

Edit to add - the plugin info still loads through the MQ2 window but the window with the clickable options is what isn't loading. Its late and I want to make sure I'm not overlooking the obvious in my own post.

whats the MQ window saying for errors? not giving an official answer, but alot of times it gives a command /shm toggleui error.. hope this helps

howdy Charlie,

save > This Link < for reference, it has all the links with information like how to find the FAQ and commands tab for reach resource, and then vids on each thing, including a vid on the CWTN UI

shm commands tab:
INI:
[/COLOR]
/shm show - Shows the CWTN UI window
/shm hide - Hides the CWTN UI window
/shm toggleui - Toggles visibility of the CWTN UI Window

cwtn UI vid

The /shm show was it! I don't recall ever doing a /shm hide but I must have at one point because as mentioned it was there when i first used it. At any rate if I can pile on some more praise I absolutely LOVE how response this plugin is. Thank you for the quick response on the assist!!

you probably clicked on the "X" button to close the window

thanks for the kind words :)

Hi all is the a way for CWTN plugins to be paused on log in?

I have added into the MQ2SHM.ini for the character
Pause=True
Hoping that when it loads the config on log in it would be paused until i unpause.. doesnt seem to be the case though

correct. we will not let you accidentally come into game while paused.

you can use a .cfg if you wanted to as discussed > HERE <

mark of wenglawks - 15 minute debuff - decreases damage shield and adds reverse damage shield
apparently not on depuff list for cure on shaman nor on shadow knight
sk cure works
radiant cure works
not casting automatically unless im doing something wrong
