so going to re-work the gems a little bit based on that #2 issue.

We will now just memorize spear if we have chaotic memorized. if we don't have chaotic memorized - like if we have usealliance turned on, or we don't have 13 spell gems (mnemonic retention 5 106+ ros+) but we do have chaotic, we will instead memorize it in that slot.

I had an issues with my mage’s aura overwriting the mammoth strength from Unity of kromef. I had to block mage aura on all the pets in my group because of the aura dropped for half a second the shaman dropped spell slot 8 to recast unity. If I block Unity of the pet the shaman keeps trying to chain cast it on them.

And if I block just the mammoth party of Unity, the shaman does the same thing but just with the next tier down in that spell line.

Any chance you can add a chaseassist distance ? like when you call nav to go to the tank maybe do dist=15. Reason being sometimes it runs into the tank and passes him and aggros something or gets aggro because its infront of the tank when he pulls instead of behind him

its on the list but its a "when its changed it'll be changed" thing. - the chase distance is hard coded atm for all of the plugins. for now you either need to set to usemelee and they'll go behind the mob (or however their stick is set) or turn them off of chase while you're fighting. - but i know the need for it, as missions with dragons is annoying when healer is standing in front of the big ass dragon

also if your chase is running you in front of the mob sounds like you're having some background frame issue or other lag as chase uses nav to nav to your chase target in which case increasing your chase distance isn't going to help you.

It’s looking like I should just block mage aura all around. The 4% damage over mammoth isn’t worth the trouble. All the other Unity buffs outweigh the loss it seems.

well I can't help you with that with shaman =p but yeah whatever you don't want, you should block - because if someone doesn't have a buff, and its not blocked or otherwise occupied (like stacking) then we're going to cast it - so if your aura drops we're going to cast it as me meet all the requirements for it

this will help for those circumstances i mentioned while you're fighting a mob

Perfect. It only happens if i have selos buff and yes the fps are limited in the bg so that is also why.

Awesome! I just click byos and replace it right now, easy work around, but nice to have a solution on the way!

Another Request ( I know I'm a pain)
1. Can an option for use epic 2.0 yes/no be added? Don't like having a named pop and its already been used (or wanting to save it during cov missions for certain mobs). Yes/No would allow us to run a kissassist mac to click epic (or other clickies etc.) on named or certain conditions

sounds like the eqbug with stuck gems. we use companion's aegis if we detect stuck gems - but stuck gem detection isn't perfect since eq keeps fucking with stuff without actually fixing their game.

this is frequently caused by the bard aa Quick Time - hopefully eq fixes it soon.

if this happens again try clicking an aa with a cast time - like origin and then ducking.

the character isn't gem locked, i can still cast and use AA manually just fine. the plugin just stalls out until i cast (i usually cast the intervention group heal). Once i cast manually then it starts doing things again. it only happens when i change modes from manual to either chase or assist (those are the only modes i use on that toon). i'll try to pay attention to what the character does first when it starts back up though.

there's no such thing as "stalling out". All of these plugins function the same way - and they check their state/status faster and more frequently than you or i could count - if they meet any condition to do any of the things they're asked to do - they will do it. the only way its not doing stuff is if it is paused, you are invis without a camp set - or there is something preventing it from doing stuff - like a vendor open, trade window, bank window.

you're going to have to provide a whole lot more information because there's no way i can think of where you simultaneously can accept commands like changing modes, and yet "stand around and do nothing".

furthermore - being in chase or manual or switching between - these camp modes are across the entire cwtn library - which would mean this issue would be present for all of the classes.

I suspect you're going invis without a camp set - or you don't have your MA set, so its waiting to cast heals at the non-MA value (it would still do other stuff in the mean time)

those two are very different as 1 has a camp and 1 does not.

I strongly suspect your dude is invis in a non-camp mode (manual or chase or vorpal etc). in which case we do not break your invis unless you're set to usemelee and you are assisting to fight a mob.

you shouldn't adjust things directly in the ini anyhow.

the only thing you can't adjust in the ini the the stickhow command - and even that you need to take care with.

the ini isn't intended for direct editing. adjust things with the slash commands.

I use slash commands, I meant checked the ini in regards to their being a epic option I can scan an ini much faster than reading the CWTN output window is all

I was trying to manually put in the stance (move from 0 to 2 based on the location) and I was getting an error for stance 2 - however, he still loaded all of the DPS spells.
I will try and replicate it this evening for a little more clarify.

If you turn on Use Alliance with the new Ancient Coalition in your spell book, the shaman will chain spam Ancient Coalition on the tank. It basically seems like it's not registering the buff is on the tank so it chain attempts to cast it. Pretty much can't turn on Use Alliance if you have Ancient Coalition.

well considering you haven't patched in a month. you should probably do that since there have been dozens of internal patches for the cwtn plugins and several VV re-builds since then.

Just a heads up to all MQ2Shaman users. When we patch, the plugin will be paid. It is now currently available for purchase in advance of the patch. If you don't own a license after the patch, you cannot download a new copy of MQ2Shaman and will need to go into your Macroquest.ini in the [plugins] section and set MQ2Shaman=0 or you will get an error on each character when you log in informing you that MQ2Shaman is out of date.

I am relatively new to MQ2 and had been treating my Shaman as a buff/slow/heal bot, but I didn't have a very good idea how to get the most out of him. This was my first time using one of the CWTN plugins, and its tremendous. After watching what my Shaman was doing using the plugin I've actually learned how to better play the class. I purchased it to support, and will likely look into another CWTN class plugin after my experience with this one.
