That was it. I just had to move away from the place I had set camp and I also updated my mesh. So in order for me to control two groups I will have to go into raid mode and use those raid hot keys to set camp. After that both of my groups should assist my main tank right? Thanks again!!
if you would go into raid mode, and they would assist your raid assigned "Raid MA" in your eq raid window after you told the plugin which raidassist you would like to assist

Ok, so I do the following:
  1. On my warrior: /war RaidMode on
  2. /war RaidAssistNum 1
  3. And everyone else running CWTN plugins to have RaidMode on, and RaidAssistNum 1.
  4. Obviously be in raid grouped.
Anything else I am missing?

did you open your everquest raid window, and assign your warrior as raid main assist in the everquest raid window?

I am not sure why but my MainAssist button seems to be grayed out. Any ideas as to why?
 
Love the addon and use it pretty much exclusively as puller/assist for my group and I had a thought. Whats the feasability of putting in an option so that, instead of dpsing till the mob is dead then heading off, instead to go and get the next mob when theres only 1 mob on the Xtar and that mob is at x% health with a box to select what x is? You can tweak X to your groups speed and distance to mobs etc, Alot of the downtime for my group is during the run out and back after each kill and when I used to play my monk as a legit puller i would gauge how fast we were killing things and pitch it so that i went out got mobs and got back just in time for the kill. I realise this may be a Dunning-Krueger situation where I dont know enough to know why what I'm asking is impossible or unecessary but if it can can lead to 30 to 50% more KPH I gotta aask :)

we have 0 plans on adding any sort of chain pulling.

stop playing like 1999 :) if you want to lower your downtime and increase your pulls you should consider having your tank in a huntertank mode and everyone else in chase.

Hi Sic, yeah I have my tank targeted and I click on his name in the raid window and the button MainAssist seems to be grayed out.

are you the raid leader? you have to be the raid leader to do raid leader stuff.

I'd check on your emu to see if that is just something not available there.

emu's vary so widely that is why they are more or less "as is" for emu

if i had other suggetions i would have mentioned them :(

if you are in raidmode we use the raid assigned raid assist

if you are not in raid mode we use your group assigned main assist

if you don't have raid assigned raid assist on your emu, you would not be able to use raidmode to raidassist

Lol…actually I can try out raid assigned raid assist as I am in a raid with two full groups.

How do I set the raid assigned assist? Do I assign a number to my warrior tank and then select that number on rest of the characters?

Are there commands do set this across all my characters pls? Thanks.

where you said that you can't assign a raid assist in your everquest raid window - which means then you won't be able to use the raidmode with raidassist in the cwtn plugins

How can I control the stick thou? Like I would like for them to hit from behind. It’s set to snap roll behind options but they just run infront of the mob and atk. Thanks.

you can't adjust the stickhow for tanking modes.

Just put your to MA's for each group in tank mode and set everyone else to assist without raidmode on. Then at least you'll only have 1 toon in each group in the mobs face. Though ideally you'd be able to assign an MA which would then be used by everyone to assist as opposed to having multiples in tank mode.

Gotchya. I will try that. I did noticed a bug on my shaman where it kept on casting shrink on the pet over and over until I turned off group shrink. After that it started buffing my guys.
 
The bug doesn't occur on Live, and as mentioned before EMU is kinda a "If it works, then that's great, but otherwise not applying specific effort into the plugins for EMU"
 
The program is not using any of my new abilities that are 115+

I have made it to 119 and about to go into 120. I have my new tomes and all RKII memmed. I have my focus AA's up to date.

However every time I load in it is still not using the new stuff. Please help.

If you are not on Next and you want to take advantage of the updates done for the new expansion you'll have to convert to using MQNext. Since redguides is transitioning to Next as their only build in the near future we started updating the new spells lists with the understanding that the Legacy version of Very Vanilla would no longer be supported at redguides, so opted not to update the spells for Legacy.

Possible to get Destructive Force added to AoE count ? My monk wont use destructive Force when there are 5 mobs in camp, and AoE count is set to 3. From what I know it's the best AoE damage

if you have usedestructive (and useaoe) on we use destructive force if your xtarget is equal or greater to your aoecount. change your aoe count if you don't want it to be 3.
if you have usedestructive and not useaoe, we use focused destructive force.

Perhpas I spoke too early. Use AoE is on, Use Destructive is on, & had multiple 3 pulls and won't use destructive. I even set UseAoE to 1 and won't use destructive. Also tried turning off UseDestructive in the chances that you coded it so that it will only fire on Burns.

it works as i mentioned, as part of the tier'd burn routine.

it isn't just willy-nilly fired.

Might want to check out the mq2monk overview as this is explained by like 1:00 in the video.
 
I understand the video. Watched it in 2020. It seems to be this should be similar to Rampage for a warrior. Why can't I fire off an AoE ability without it being a burn? I'd be happy to tip well to make it use it similar to an AoE ability.

there is no "i will tip you if you do this".

this isn't an al a carte menu either.

and frankly pretty insulting.

it is part of the tier'd burn routine, and is going to remain that way.
 
Wasn't sure where else to post this but since this is related to mq2monk, i figured i'd post it. I'm having issues with mq2monk puller assist. It will be working great for a while, then it will just stop pulling. It will say it is targetting a mob for pulling, but then it will walk up 100ft or so away and just look at the mob. Like i said, it works fine 90 percent of the time, but that extra 10 percent is what is making me scratch my head. The only thing that seems to fix it is a complete logout/login of eq. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

that's not really much information to go by. sounds like maybe you're somehow getting off-mesh, that's the only way we would just end up somewhere and then stand there not doing anything. I would check that you have a good mesh, and you're not falling off of it somehow.

alternatively I would check that this is a mob that you can actually pull and it isn't just standing there trying to distant strike something that isn't pullable - you can add anything you don't want to pull to your ignore list /monk ignore

What is the easiest way to check the mesh? I assumed it was because I was in a newer TOL zone, but the issue seems to have followed me to other older zones.

well if you're now saying you're having this all over the place, then it sounds like you have something *else* happening, and no idea what that something else would be. but if you wanted to check your mesh, the easiest way to see is by trying to nav to yourself /nav id ${Me.ID} (even easier than rendering the mesh). if you say "navigating to spawn: yourname" then you're on mesh.

/mnk debugpull on once would cycle once and you why the plugin isn't pulling if you're not pulling, but as to why you may stop while pulling and do nothing is a mystery to me. i do a good amount of farming with one of my monks in a puller role and haven't experienced this.

do you have any other automations that might be interupting? a react, Lua, macro, etc?
 
the only other macro i run simultaneously is Overseer, but i haven't seen affect anything other than my toons that run KA. I'll end that macro to see if there's a difference. Only time will tell. It's working 4.0 right now but will eventually the same issue occurs. This issue only seems to have started after i migrated to mqnext. I don't recall this issue using MQ2 .
 
I feel dumb i couldn't find my answer on my on but my monk isn't pulling with distant strike like hes supposed too. Just running up and whacking stuff. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? He's 120 and should have everything he needs.

usually means a line of sight problem, either mob is under the ground, or we don't get LoS running up to the mob
