Not sure - there's nothing that should make you not attack until you attack the first time - if you find out more reason why that is happening let me know and i will try and recreate it.

Like i mentioned about the LoS issue - I've seen something like that happen with certain beetles in shard's landing - because of how the bushes/rocks are where the beetles live - but that's an eq issue and its not something that stops being an issue if you pull a mob by yourself once

First off - thanks for the plugin! Issue I face is when I tab off my monk he starts doing up/downs. He sits and then stands..rinse repeat. This goes on until I tab over. Then it stops for a minute or so and starts again. Suggestions?

sounds like you've possibly got something else running that interferes with behavior, like autoforage. I believe forage requires you stand, and the plugin wants to sit.
If it only happens in the background you might consider checking your background FPS to ensure that it's not set to "minimal" you'll want to have your background FPS set to something like 30 at a minimum.

I am currently using mq2clr, mq2monk, mq2Eskay, and MQ2Enchanter I cant seem to get any of my characters to "Chase" my Sk. I have made the SK MA swapped it to diff characters then back to the SK and changing the settings in the plugin UI. Any ideas?

mode 2 is chase mode - they will "chase" the person assigned as "Main Assist" in the group window. like all of the non-manual modes, this requires mq2nav setup with meshes.

Okay, pardon my stupid question...but, does this need it's own folder to be unzipped to in EQ? Thanks! I looked in various places on this plug in and couldn't find this particular instruction.

No

Use the vv launcher. It places it where it is supposed to go

ahh..thank you. I didn't see that at first as I thought it was kissassist..but, I guess it removed that one and replaced it with the Monk.

heya, thanks for this plugin first. and i just had a question about Huntertank. I am currently in a thulissar HA and i have it on huntertank. well, things were fine the last mission, and now everytime a mob dies (if there are no adds), my character is like freezing and then running to the next mob. like, a hiccup so to speak. about a 2-3 second pause. i re-ran the mess generator just to make sure i had no updates and i do not. any ideas please? i actually had this happen with my sk on her plugin and now this is the second time i have seen it happen. just tying to figure out what causes this please. thanks

this can happen in zones that have a lot of geometry in it, its when mq2nav calculates all the mobs and the how to get to them all,

you might try and increase your tile size in your mesh gen and recreate it

i did that and it didnt help, so i restarted the mission and it works fine for a little while. then, it just starts pausing again as i go along and kill more mobs.

oh wait, when a mob dies

do you have mq2log turned on?

/plugin mq2log unload

that and/or your in-game log. /log off

never had the mq log loaded and the eq log is now off. still does it, but its not as significant of a pause as of yet. weird thing is, if i have 3 mobs and one dies, it doenst do it. its only when the last one dies and my character begins to go to the next one. but yes, still doing it, even without mqlog never loaded and my eq log is off.

Do i have to add clickies each time i load in to game? also if i want to use clr clicky heal pants from Thurg / Skyshrine armor how would i set that /clr addclicky defensive? (with that on my cursor) ? or Offensive? not sure which one will work as i intend.

Sounds to me like there are mobs that are off mesh and the plugin gets to a point where it checks that mob. When there are spawns that aren't on mesh and we ask for a path to the mob, then nav will try to find that path, these can cause some significant pauses if there are lots of things without a path to it. We do try to check every other thing before to make sure they match all the spawn search results prior to trying to find a path to the mob, but sometimes they meet all the requirements but still don't have a path. If that's the case then there isn't much we can do about it.

You can verify this is an issue with /mnk debugpull on once while you are currently fighting a mob, then the next time the plugin tries to pull it would spit out what it thinks about every mob it wants to pull. If you have one or more that say they have no path to them, then this is likely the cause of the issue.

Picked up this plugin a few days ago to level up a monk, I have a few questions that I don't seem to know or find the answer to.

1) When I have feign death switched on as assist, my monk will feign death stand back up and wont continue fighting. Is this something in the settings I can adjust?

2) When monk is in puller assist mode if he pulls to many will he FD, or is this something I will need to control?

3) When Monk is in Puller assist, he will run out grab a mob, come back to camp. My tank will pick it up and he will just stand there. My assist is set to 98% but he wont do anything even past that.

I am sure I am missing a few adjustments right now as he is only level 41, but figured I would ask.

Thanks

1. do you have switchwithma on? should turn that on if not
2. what do you mean pulls too many and FDs? we don't check to FD until we're fighting.
3. you should check your campradius

2) I was curious if at any time that when the monk is pulling and he grabs to many (adds) if he would FD until a few wonder off before returning to camp. This maybe some major coding however, I was just curious. Yes, I know he should FD when fighting for aggro concerns. I was asking about when pulling.

1) I do not have Switch with MA on, will check that out

3) I will try and expand out the camp radius

thanks

2. no

from the FAQ

Q. Will this split pull?
A. Not at this time.

Since the FD update my monks are auto feigning as soon as they have aggro regardless if i have it set to FD at a certain hp % threshold.

Well, no behavior changed.
Do you have your aggro for setting adjusted as you want?

Yeah I hadn't messed with the feign on aggro setting because before it used to just feign at whatever % I set for the feign at health setting. Can we see the actual aggro %? I play on tlp so that option isnt active.

Edit: Would I just set it to 0 if I wanted to turn the option off? I still want it to feign if they get to a certain health just not for aggro %.

so i just walked back in.

if you have usefeign on, you will feign if your aggro % is above your feignataggro, your health is below your feignathealth, or you are the target of the target you are fighting. this happens in manual, assist, chase, vorpal, and pullerassist mode.

if you don't have aggro information available to you, then we don't use the aggro % for purposes of determining when we should FD, it would just report your aggro % is 0. You wouldn't want to adjust the setting to 0.

I need to change this to not check the mode, and instead check if you are tanking or not - which would be in non tank mode and not assigned as main tank in your group window. This would allow you to be in manual mode, but assigned as group main tank, to not auto flop if you have usefeign on.

but outside of that, if you are not tanking, and the mob you're fighting targets you, and you have usefeign on, we're going to feign - that is intended.

I'll have the tanking check instead of the mode check adjusted for next build

Hey Sic, after the last update my group shrink behavior has changed. Using a VT shrink clicky my toon used to auto shrink everyone anytime I zoned or they needed it. Now he just scans each toon in the group in a loop and never casts the shrink. This is happening with MQ2Enchanter as well as MQ2Monk.

yes, fixed for the next update - you'll need to take it out of your shrink clickies until then

its happening on multiple classes because the "clicky stuff" is part of the common library

shot you a PM

Is there StickHow option to go maxmelee range, snaproll, behind? I only see snaproll behind 10. something like /stick snaproll behind 100% hold - or, more like 95% to pretty much avoid the out of melee range warning?

you can change those stick hows to any stickhow you would like to use you like - they're just defaulted to some options - these are the only things you have to edit in your mq2monk_dude.ini

you could do something like 95%% snaproll or anything else you want like behind moveback 15

Sweet, thanks! The snap roll in this plugin is so much faster than when going manual and typing my own. The toon mobea instant where going yourself with a social, he just lazily runs to the back of rhe mob.

Hello everyone, for some reason i'm getting none stop spams with my clickies. It's random on any of my clickies , it can be epic, bp anything really. I didn't change anything in my settings, i was rolling alone fine before this happen.

eq still has a lingering bug where it is telling the client (us/you) that an item is ready but isn't - i suspect this is your issue. eqbug

Is there a way to chain pull with this at like mob health 40% disengage and go pull

no

if you're killing fast enough to want to do that, you should consider your tank using a hunter tank mode instead and cut travel time in half by your entire group going to the mob.
