Got some messages that between consolidation and adps stuff, swapping to 1handers to get the buff might not be worth it. If that's the case, oh well, can turn off the bando swapping. Had several requests for it anyhow, so it should accommodate folks who want it and folks who dont.

Edit: Hrm - annnd it appears the ability will still proc from 2h - Oh well, the toggle is still gonna be there for peeps who want it

I've heard rogues are looking really good in ToV --- definitely tough choices.

I'm finding myself wishing you could have like 12 people in a group lol
 
Same same. I’d be good with about 8. Then I could have bard to boost my melee but keep my lockdown chanter, and get me another zerker going!

While there are some tank abilities utilized with MQ2Monk (Death Line, Earth, Step, and Counter Disc Lines), MQ2Monk is designed around DPS - we may add more tank consideration later, but we have those items added for now.

We optimize a 4-tier burn routine built around our 4 primary dps disc lines:
Heel - Dicho - IoT - Spire
Speed - Dicho - IoT - Spire - Ton Po's - (Will use Focused Destructive / Destructive if Ton Po's is down) and Poise
Terrorpalm - Dicho - IoT - Spire - Focused Destructive / Destructive (Ton Po's if FD/F is down), and Poise
Ironfist - Crane

Silent Strike
Five-Point

If we are not in tank mode we will use Eye of the Storm as a filler, and Earth as a filler regardless of role

Feign Death:
you can toggle /monk usefeign on to toggle on FD or not - currently it is designed that it will only use FD if usefeign is on & you are in manual, assist, chaseassist, or pullerassist mode.

Mend
Mend is set to fire at 80% health since it comes back quickly

Swift Tails
Swift tails is set to be used at 60 mana/endurance

We will use our Breaths line at 40% endurance and out of combat

Purify Body
We will use our purify body in and out of combat if we have a Disease, Poison, Curse, or Corruption debuff on ourselves. (Also Blindness, Root, Snare)

Puller Mode:
Currently, it is using the lvl 83 Vigorous Shuriken ability to pull. This will be updated in the future to use Distant Strike AA ability

Intimidate:
Same as other CWTN plugins you can /monk useintimidate to toggle on/off this ability

Kicks & Claws?!
As of now, it is hardcoded to use Flying Kick if you are 30+, Round Kick if you are 5-29, and Kick 1-4
and Tiger Claw if you are above level 10.
It is possible, if there is enough request, to add the other kicks and punches with the ability to toggle them as needed/wanted

Mash:
We will use these ability lines whenever they are available.

Fists of Steel & BandoSwap?!
We created a function that will have you swap to 1hb/h2h until Fists of Fury procs, and then back to your 2hb. Some want this; some will not. Currently, reports are saying the benefit isn't that strong at current end game AND I can confirm, the proc can actually proc using only 2hb autoattack. If they fix this in the future OR you want to use it anyway you can /monk usebandoswap on

Dissident/Dicho:
We're using similar "tier'd" logic for which dicho/dissident to use --- if you have Tier 1 of Dissident ensure you actually have the "Dissident Form Trigger 1" in your spell book - if you do not, go to Virtuous Dusk and say "reminder" get "update" your rank 1 ability

- Fixed a problem that caused progressive spell scrolls to fail to scribe their first ranks. If your new Dissident ability is failing to cast when you activate it, go to Stratos and ask Virtuous Dusk for a reminder.

SwitchWithMA:
This allows you to swap targets if your MA swaps target

Does the pull routine inherit mq2war ranged code? In other words, if I'm leveling a monk and wanted to pull with it before getting any of the aforementioned abilities, can I just use thrown weapons?

It does use the new pull routines you will find common amongst the other CWTN plugins - Chat is still making modifications to it, however. Like i mentioned in the overview, for now it is just going to use virtuous shuriken if you have it, however you don't get that until the 80's. so if you don't have vigorous shuriken, it will check to see if you have a ranged item, just like mq2war - expect some updates to that in the future

The MQ2class plugins are awesome. Tested them all and love them. Waiting patiently for MQ2Monk, and wishing there will be a MQ2bst :P

Bst will be a little longer than monk. I have a mostly working version atm, but we still have some spell casting and spell set management stuff to sort out, but the routine is there and it works really well.
I actually did bst before monk, but its not up to the cwtn standard yet for release.

Monk should be really soon.

I added some more detrimentals to the self cure today - like Blindness, Root, Slow and *SNARE* --- snare is really exciting, it will use your purifying body AA while pulling if you get snared. and if you are snared in combat it will wait until combat fades before firing your purify body so we don't "waste" the cure (sometimes a snare might only be 30 seconds, like from the drachnid dudes in lcae --- its not worth wasting our 4m self-cure on that while in combat --- if we're pulling and we get hit with that snare, it'll fire it off instantly.

There have been significant updates to the CWTN pull routine, which I'm sure folks will be able to see very soon, and mq2monk takes full advantage of it.

Maybe later this week i'll do in-group while pulling quick video to demonstrate

That's awesome, you and cwtn did a wonderfull work on these with your plugins and macros.
Can't wait to test the other plugins. I am already a full fan of the existing ones.

Cwtn should make a package for sale with all of them once they willl officially release :P

@Sic Would it be possible to make this into an adjustable variable instead of a fixed value? I have found situations where delaying my mend until I am a bit lower health, 65-70%, allows my mend to come up again at a more opportune time later in the fight.

Not a deal breaker either way but figured it was worth asking!

yeah this was just a placeholder, we can do that
 
Dichotomic Form and Dissident Form are the Eok/TBL class abilities - many of them are very class defining HERE is a link

Just to make sure I understand correctly. You can use BOTH Dichotomic Form and Dissident Form together? Or does Dissident Form overwrite Dichotomic?

no, you can only use one, they are progressive abilities, however - so depending on how far you have one progressed versus the other, you might use the older version. All classes have these spells

you can add mobs to ignore with the /monk ignore and it will write mobs to a pullignores.ini in release folder. All of the CWTN plugins will use that file
 
I was wondering what people have their pull setting at for them. Like camp radius or Zradius or Radius. I am trying to feel out what others are finding what best works for them and I can adjust accordingly.
