Nothing extra....my group is an SK,SHM,ROG,MAG,ENC,BL unless one of those generates something that i am unaware of..i'll try to do a capture of the error MQ throws next time.

Well I was asking because a red eq error message on one of your toons would tell you if there was an mq/eq stacking issue, and then you would make a choice and block one of the conflicting spells on the character. please check the FAQ for explanation and instructions
 
I just bought both Mage and Shaman plugins yesterday, and I must say, both are excellent. The DPS increase with my Mage is very noticible, and she is still missing several spells. Once I take a break I will take care of that, but so far, I think the mage plugin is my favorite. I currently have SK, Shaman, and Mage. I am going to look into getting BST and possibly druid next :-) Considering dumping my wiz and replacing with druid or BST, or dumping my cleric wiz and running SHM, DRU, BRD, SK, BST, MAG :-)
 
Also, before someone says something. The plugin does not delete items. So if you summon a bag of weapons, then the bag itself will remain even if we use all the weapons.

If we do consider specific weapons from the bag of weapons later on down the line, we won't destroy the excess weapons either.

The idea that some bug could potentially destroy something important to a player makes me take a step back from destroying items.

I wish I'd read this before buying the plugin or I never would have. I just got done deleting more than 20 weapons in 3 bags. And no appreciable improvement over the KA INI.

there are too many conflicting automations that put stuff on your cursor to 100% fool-proof delete stuff, since the eq delete functionality requires something to be on your cursor. we don't want to delete your gear, and as such, we're not going to delete stuff

we also have a 30 day refund, so if not deleting no-rent weapons in your bags is a deal breaker - shoot @ChatWithThisName a message and get you a refund
 
Any chance we could get like self pet weapons to use the level 1 summon dagger ? Proc weapons/spells cut pet dps in almost half in most cases on any pet class so it’s not ideal to use them! Apology’s if this was already answered.

we were doing this since april, but recently reverted the work around as eq and folks have said that issue is fixed.

can you confirm it isn't, or are you going off some "some guy said once that new a guy who said he heard someone on the bus who walked by a guy in a restaurant who once served a guy who knew someone who thought they overheard someone say it is broken still"
 
It for sure is still a problem, I could pm you some parses if you are interested. I did a raid with my bst with proc weps on 1 and with non proc on another, my pet almost did double the amount without proc weps/proc buffs on.
 
I'm having an issue, I am not sure exactly what happens since it's not constant, but after awhile I will notice that my mage is broken and has summoned a bunch of bags of pet weps and random pet weps and has his hands full and isn't working.

Anyone else run into this? It's a bit tough to recreate, I don't know exactly when or how it happens.

is your inventory full, or do you have other things summoning stuff on your cursor? running conflicting macros/luas?

mage does extra autoinventory checks to try and catch conflicting cursor stuff - the only way those get skipped would be: paused, auto dropping stuff turned off, or in a window state that won't allow it (like a vendor).

could you be specific about *what* is on your cursor? is it a bag? are you getting any eq red error spam? if somehow a bag was stuck on your cursor i could see us trying to autoinventory it and not succeed.

the error message should be "there are no open slots for the held item" which we then check for inventorying a bag

you do not need to leave any top level bag slots open. You're likely hurting yourself by doing that.

You can have all 10(12) bag slots with bags in them.

Pretty certain it is because you don't have any place to put stuff, because you barely have any bag slots because you're leaving top level slots empty - get you some bags in those slots and i suspect you'll be fine

If you recreate pets often (death, dismissal, etc) then over time you will find the original bags as well as 2 sets of 2 weapons that will build up in inventory. I just manually destroy them to clear out the unneeded inventory.

yep, also mentioned in the FAQ

if you're denying yourself 4 top level inventory slots of bag space, you'lll almost certainly run into issues - deluxe toolboxes are like 1pp and 10 slots each, that's 36 more slots right there - way more managable.

I might do something like an "opt-in" as in turn-on setting to delete empty pouches of quellious and the unused weapons - just very not excited about the idea of conflicting behavior putting items on your cursor right between determining we should delete something.

cwtn and i don't like the accumulation of the "unusuable" stuff - but at least for now, we're opting on the side of *not* deleting your stuff

Just a heads up---the plugin is crashing the mage clients when loading into the game right after the RG MQ update went live.

I loaded up my mage 3 times. What I found is that when my mage finished doing mass mod rod I received the mq crash.

Mage is level 120, had a green gem from abundant summoning on cursor and was in a palatial guild hall.

I was able to load mage by loading in another character, unloading mq from that account and then switching to my mage. I then cast aa rod with no issues.

I then refreshed injections and Mage did abundant summoning fine (put item in bag) then crashed upon summoning relentless symbiosis.

until they can figure it out delete or unlad mq2mage for now they just released the compile so im sure this is being looked into

I agree with this. They need time to address it.

If you cannot get into the game load / create a different character. Once in type /unload on that account. Then switch to mage. You won't have plugin but you will be in the game.

I unloaded Mq2Mage on my SK and then was able to load in fine with MQ running.
 
all of you people dealing with this issue i already posted a temporay fix untill it get fixed. just unload it im sure its being looked at atm
 
same here trouble and found out an issue ... i cant summon Grant Voidfrost Paradox if u turn off that at mq2mage and mage works fine.... must be something work with that paradox spell

I am getting this error when trying to load mq2mage, my subscriiption is valid for a good 9 months yet

if you're on live: please make sure you're patched - build 1631 is current - check your plugin tab
if you're on test: please be patient. test has a lot of changes, it is almost certainly due to the mass amount of changes that eq has made and is an issue with mq itself and not something directly in mq2mage - we will still work towards helping find it - but it likely isn't "oh just update mq2mage"

sorry you're having trouble

no, you do not use kissassist or any other conflicting automations.
no kissassist isn't built in

mage actually assists even not in assist mode (the assist vs. manual for casters is just for melee/movement purposes)

you need a group main assist for the mage to assist.

mobs need to be in your campradius, and at/under the assist at value

your MA needs to be "up in the mobs face"

make sure you review how to change settings and adjust things

there is no increased cost for purchasing them individually; there is no "package" to purchase either, this allows folks to get what they need, and reup them as needed, and even spread them out over different months.

also, all the cwtn plugins are included for no additional expense on the test server with your lvl 2 Very Vanilla - so that might be an option for you
OMDG, that might just be what I need to pacify the wife wearing me out about "a silly game"/too expensive. Especially when she caught me making a list of goodies here I 'need/want' ... honey. Might even throw out a, but sweetie, much cheaper then booze, drugs'n hookers. And no lingering issues lol. If suddenly not heard from again ... I failed the sell.

Im still having constant mage crashes...im guessing its because my inventory is quite full....and its always when i have a bag of pet weapons on the cursor and i just delete it, at least its consistently this....

would make sure you don't have any empty top level slots being taken up by non-bags
would also make sure that you have at least 10 slotters - they're like 1pp

the expanded bags are pretty cheap to make as well.

also - you can now turn on to delete items you don't want, but that of course requires being able to have *any* space to do anything.

if you think you're crashing because you're getting too much on cursor (like autoforage putting too many items in a backlog because you can't get items off your cursor - you're probably going to crash.
 
@JeffKinzer are you on emu? because the cwtn plugins aren't available on emu. (and someone msg'd me and said you were playing on EMU - so just want to narrow that down)

are you sure you're asking about mq2mage?
