Thanks for entertaining this issue, I appreciate it. Being the only one reporting the problem obviously indicates I am doing something to cause the issue.

The only change I made with the xtarget slots is on the main (SK) to add the RAID MA1's target (SK is listed as group MA in group, but not MT or any raid tags). I use a slot way towards the bottom and change it from auto to RAID Assist 1's target to make assisting the RAID MA's target easier/faster. Could this possibly be the cause for both toons odd behavior? If so, I can avoid doing that on the next raid and test, then add the RAID MA on xtarget and see if it recreates. Easier to not do that going forward if that's the cause than a software adjustment.

The pouch never showed up in inventory upon login or initial summon, but a new one seems to show up and get added to one of my bags since there is not a top level inventory slot open due to being filled with bags. If I take the second bag in inventory (generally empty) and pause the plugin, then put that empty bag into another and place the pouch in the top level inventory slot it begins working again. Upon the next death, it summons another pouch that drops into inventory and hence, rinse and repeat or log out entirely. My guess is the info I have is too vague and the only way I know of to recreate it is within the raid. I'll take some screenshots next raid and just edit toon name info for each
If the toon has the only aggro mob on xtarget assigned that way it won't populate as an autohater, please leave the xtarget window to all autohater to avoid issues with the exception of setting things for xtarget healing or buffing of players on applicable classes.

Sigh, it never ends with that stupid spell. Thanks I'll take a look.

Frustrating thing is I don't have a toon with all of the fucked up things with the various fucked up mage spells

seems my 120 bard was not switching targets and just standing there instead of doing melee...

I do have a slight side issue I am looking into I did not see commands in mq2mage for reviving a merc (though I could have overlooked it).

if anyone can point me in the right direction to get this last key set up id greatly appreciate it, doesn't matter if it's a macro to run with mage or mage itself just want the merc to auto revive.

The plugins do not manage mercs.
 
we don't care or need top level inventory slots. leaving one blank is just a waste for yourself.

Ok, here it is before and during the Zelnithank raid. Mind you, it's been quite a spell since I played a mage in a raid or a 6 person group. The first photo is when I load up the toon and the plugin sets up. The second is the plugin summoning the pet and weapons after the first death. As you can see, the pouch is in inventory now and some weapons are left over. I have 3 other pets in the group, but they may not have been close enough post rez to hand weapons to. The last image is another rez if I leave the pouch and weapons in inventory from the first rez. Now it can not summon pet toys. AS mentioned before, I imagine it's something I'm doing, just not sure what. Nothing on target in any of these.

your giant screenshots are not really helpful at all, because i'm not really sure i understand "what you expect vs. what is happening"

you are going to see that red spam as it cycles trying to find places to put stuff.

it is insane to me you have 8 slots bags.

you can get 10 slots from vendor in PoK for 1pp

you should just get unexpanded transcendent packs from bazaar and then expand them to 20 slots

maybe it is possible your trashbags aren't large enough to place the items/bag inside, i don't know.

I'm not really sure i understand what you're trying to explain - but you are going to see that red spam as it goes to try and place the stuff in your bags

my recommendation: get some of the 20 slotters

Gotcha, thanks! I never thought about increasing bag size since this toon typically does not carry much anyway. I'll make 20's for all the toons who don't have them.

Sorry about the screenshots as I thought they would help and maybe they did since you saw the shitty bag management =)

Ok, well this is some progress. the red spam is actually us trying to autoinventory the bag while we're going through and figuring out where to dump stuff to, can eliminate a whole bunch of red spam by cleaning that up a bit

Is it stated anywhere which focus lines are used most in the plugins for the purposes of maxing those lines first - I ask in mage but im curious about some others as well.

No, but you can see what spells it uses, focus on those first.

For almost all classes I try and get 1 point into the current "tier" for all used abilities, and then max out things that would be used most often

For I would assume spear and bolt are still going to be spear and bolt regardless of what follows but some of the other spells are not as clear cut as to which focus they will use. It probably wont be a super long time before all the focuses are maxed so I dont know that it matters a lot. Just trying to be efficient in powering him up.

at the least, get a point to bring you into "current tier" of anything you use.

but you want synergy, storm of many, spear, chaotic (flames of power), hastened servant if you want stuff to work towards

It doesn't look like Sparxx has been updated for the patch from 4/19/23. The errors you're getting is because those items are not defined in your custom .xml file. So you need to have those defined in the sparxx .xml called EQUI_KeyRingWnd.xml.

Now that I have mq2mage, what checkbox should I check in mq2grind in class configuration? CWTN, RGmercs, KissAssist or MuleAssist?
I have the KA one checked because I was using that until now, but I understand that with this new plugin it will work differently, right?

you would want to ask mq2grind questions in the mq2grind thread, but mq2mage is one of the "ChatWithThisName" class plugins - CWTN is the option you would pick.

you definitely don't want to be trying to run with multiple conflicting automations

So should I check CWTN in mq2grind and delete the wizards KA ini files so there are no conflicts?

yes, click CWTN if you want to use CWTN - no you don't need to delete anything, just don't click KA

mq2dpsadv is a plugin that will show you your dps.

I'd suggest eqlogparser tho

seems to bring more dps to have daggers in a raid, at least

Yep.

You could ask eq to fix their game.

I agree it is really stupid.

If you don't want them, don't be in raidmode when you make your pet and go to give it weapons
 
Been leveling my mage with mq2mage and its working great. Now that he is lvl 72 he is still using lvl 55 Earth Strength and not the lvl 70 Rathe's Strength.

we don't use rathe's strenth - there is some issue with it
 
I'm playing a group with Mage/Necro/Bst, and the mage doesn't seem to understand when the pets don't want the weapons. Is there something I need to have installed/running that I am missing? I have to turn to self only because otherwise my mage just tries to give weapons over and over and over to the rest of the party pets, even though they are saying 'thanks, I don't need this, you can have it back'

Well, we only give weapons to pets that don't have them. Do you know of a reason it isn't taking them?

I'm not certain... I honestly haven't played a necro in ~20 years, but it's only the necro pet. I am going to hope its because the necro pet is coded better/different and since he can't dual wield yet thats where the issue comes from?
 
This was the first Plugin I bought and I love the thing. It turned my Mage into a sort of co=main. It caused me to upgrade gear not because I needed to, because I wanted to. My Mage was/ is freaking awesome. He's even developed his own little cult following on the server. Other folks love my Mage when I play him as much as I do. and I always use the Plugin even if it's just manual mode.

What level is the pet. Which pet spell is the necro using
