Plugin - MQ2Mage (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Don't quote me but I think the spells it selects are optimized to work together. While most of the spells I have loaded are from ToL, there are still some 109-113.
 
my MQ2Mage is meming level 115 spells, I'm 120.
I tried BYOS but it wont cast and spells unless they are 115 or less.
The only setting i change is autodismount off and melee off and run on assist
It runs perfectly except cases lower spells than my level
you need to update to MacroQuest
 
recently started to play my group on live again.

I have 3 mages in my group all have the same settings for MQ2mage.

For some reason 1 of the mages wont mem alliance "Firebound Coalition" in gem 13. Instead it will mem "Composite Companion".

The other 2 mages are fine and do mem alliance. Anything Im missing? Im using mqnext.

In the video, it mentioned saving yhe toggle settings by using the "/' command to save it so you dont have to keep adjusting each time to log in or load mq2mage. I have sewn them before, but where can i find the commands list so i can say not yo auto dismount or stand on duck ot feign death?

you could byos and unmemorize all spells. - would still use AAs and such. tho you could adjust mana min to be 100 or something

but no, there is no "please don't do mage stuff" option

I'm trying to figure out why my mage isn't casting. I have NukeManaMin set to 25. I also tried turning off UseMelee. He still runs up and wacks with his wand regardless with no spell casting. :(

Is there a way to get a mage out of group to assist the tank from another group if i'm fighting outside of group to support?
Not from the CWTN group of plugins themself. There are jerry rig workarounds, mostly using either xtended target buffing/healing. Some people do a blank KA (since you can taget assist) to force the plugins into combat, I havent done that and its strongly discouraged by the CWTN devs.
 
had my NextMage on raid assist with the boss mob on the bottom of the extended target window and the mage would not assist to nuke the boss. Would only attack the trash that was up on the extended target list. Is this how its supposed to work? Ive found that it over prioritizes the boss if they are in the Ex Target 1 slot and sometimes refuses to attack anything else. /switchnow, /assist have no impact.
 
well /switchnow isn't a thing in MQ2Mage.
/assist is an EQ command which would just assist your current target.

You said it was "on the bottom of the extended target window"
Did you set the mob to the bottom of the extended target window to a specific slot or was it an autoslot and just happened to be at the bottom of the xtarget window?

The plugins will assist whoever the raid main assist that you tell it to assist.

What mode were you in? Mode matters.
Was it a large spawn? If so, you can increase your camp radius so that the spawn is inside the camp radius. If you're in a chase mode the camp radius surrounds whoever your assist is. So if you're assist is RaidAssist 1 and your target is a massive giagantic super being of ultimate power, and their dot on MQ2Map is not inside the CampRadius distance from your assist target, then you won't be assisting.

You haven't provided enough information to be able to assist beyond this with troubleshooting. If you have more to add and none of the above resolves the issue let me know.
 
Is there any way to turn off AA mod rod? My mage just chain casting that foolishness no stop. I tried turning off usegroupmodrod but that didn't slow him down at all.

this almost 100% means that you have a mod rod in a guild hall or housing - somewhere we can't see

you can turn off group mod rod - for like mass dark trans

but you can't turn off selfmodrod like sickle of umbral modulation or summon modulation rod AA

you would do yourself infinite amounts of favors by finding where you stashed that item and get rid of it

I set the named to the bottom slot. It's the only extarget. I wanted it down there. I have range set to 300 and all targets are well within the range.

Sounds like the likely cause is that you've manually set the mob on XTarget. CWTN Plugins requires that the spawn be an Autohater to acknowledge it as hostile. Even if the RaidAssist is targeting it, it's not an autohater (since it won't also populate an autohater slot when you've assigned it a specific slot) so the plugin ignores the entry.

With that said, the only want to make it not ignore the mob is to remove the assignment of the spawn to it's own slot on your xtarget window and just let EQ add it with autohater.

An example would be that you can attack an object as the MA (like a box that you can break) and group members using CWTN Plugins won't help because it's not being put on XTarget as an autohater.

ok, so its on purpose then. I will avoid putting mobs on extarget.
 
mage/pets i think its the pets causing this problem my CWTN Warrior is activating press the attack alot and it only happens when mages are in group is this a known issue and how can i fix it
what is your question?

mq2war doesn't use press the attack (we do use grappling strike if you have usegrapple turned on, which is on the same AA timer)

mq2war would use grappling strike in the event you have it turned on and while you are tanking the target you are fighting is not targeting you.

High level ENC pets come with weps (im sorry, i dont need this spam). If your charming for a pet (100% the way to go in modern content), they will give the charm pet weps.
 
We do give charmed chanter pets weapons. I had to add all the new weapons to ignore on lootly because of charmed pets

yes, if your MA disappears, since you are a caster, we have no way of determining if you're supposed to be killing something or not.
 
Seems there is a little issue with skin DS. I have 2 mage in a group one with skinDS on the other with skinDS off. The one with skinds off, is casting the single one.
The other mage is casting the group one, so the 1st mage is casting again the single one and overwrite it. and it s starting again over and over.

are you sure you mean skinDS? there is only one.

you might mean DS Group Circle and DS Coat (single) --- the "regular" damage shields

you want to turn off "UseDS" on the toon that you don't want casting their regular (group or single) DS

Nah, I would not want the automation, in an assist mode, to just start guessing at what to kill in the absence of an MA. Especially if a mez class has everything locked down.
 
Pretty much what Many Whelps said. If my MA goes down, then the enchanter would maintain that everything that isn't the MA's target should be put to bed. Since the MA is taking a dirt nap, then in theory everything else should be locked down providing the cleric (assuming you have one) an opportunity to get the MA back on their feet. Alternately providing you an opportunity to manually campfire in if you've placed a campfire. The plugins won't be making any assumptions as to what they should hurt following the death of the MA.
 
I’m looking for some workaround on raids. As the raid MA, if I go down the 40 toons I’m boxing go down pretty quickly if the MA dies.
