Release MQ2Grind (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

have had no problem at all with this (GMM, restless assault, shei vinitras) , but when i try to do either LS mission, FF or HaF , it starts, gets instance, loads kissassist, then ends task. no error message or anything just auto drops it
tried searching for anyone else with this issue and didnt find anything but im kind of dumb also

There must be something in the debug messaging. Please enable it and share.

I know I'm late to the party but as soon as I get unpacked from this move. The next resource I buy will finally be this one. While I was moving a friend used this to PL over 15 of my guys to 125 from 120ish. I gotta pay it forward. This resource has become a need for me as a power leveler.

Appreciate the continued expansion of instances to flip for the TLP servers Hytiek!

For those getting into VoA, I'd recommend using Pumpkins in HoT to grind to at least get to 93-95ish before transitioning to VoA's Pups of War, it's a pretty significant increase in mob difficulty. Also, if you'd prefer to get better item exp for your tear by killing alarans, you can set up safe mode to exit around step 43-44 in pups of war. This will drop a few steps after the alaran model domain hunters in the loop on the east of zone, and gives time for the fragments of history to roll off if any do drop from the alarans. It may end up being slightly worse aa/hr exiting early since you won't be killing as many 96+ mobs in the southern half of zone, but it's still quick aa's, and will give about 3x more tear exp than running the whole instance

Hi there, not sure why and it hasn't happened before but when I try to update grind in the launcher it says "Sorry, you are not authorised to download MQ2Grind"
Pretty sure my sub hasn't run out yet so...?
Cheers!

DEBUG : : [getQuestName] Bad target for task request, safety exit.

if i keep targetting the quest giver the grind will continue

It sounds like you do not have your configuration set up well in regards to pausing.

Please send me your mq2grind.ini file privately and include a list of which classes you use and what automation you use for each.

I'm seeing a crash to desktop when trying to start "Mashing Pumpkins" after the latest update. The "Run Group to Quest Giver" button also doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I've tried a few different group configurations, but they consistently seem to crash to desktop around the same spot. I've included debug logs below.

I checked and I'm not in a pick and the NPC name is #Barkley00, which I assume is correct.

"Don't fear the destroyer" doesn't appear to be impacted.

I have the VoA Pups of War instance ready for external testing.

If you are interested in helping test run it; please reach out to me on Discord: hytiek

I feel that you should be at least lvl 90 to run this. It's mostly single pulls. I think there's one spot where 3 are possible. Mobs go up to lvl 96.

any pre questing to do for this quest or just jump in and run?

Anyone have any luck doing the Brells rest mission with no tank? I currently have a 95 ranger i can try to waiver it with, but any experience on how hard it might be? Have an enchanter at 95 too. Just trying to grind some alts up hoping that will be good enough until i get the tank geared up, on mischief.

If the ranger is decently geared/AA’d already, they should be fine in BR at 95. Even VoA or HoT group gear should be fine as long as they’re not just at autogrant level for aa’s. The level jump from 85 to 95 makes a huge difference in incoming damage

7k AA's and VoA group geared yeah, weapons could be better but 80k buffed.

Hello,

not sure if anyone else would like this, but an option to toggle Lessons of the devoted if it is available would be cool.

just a thought

This is a use case solved by using the stagingCmd.

I use the following in the stagingCmd section:

/dgga /docommand /if ($\{Me.AltAbilityReady[Lesson of the Devoted]}) /alt act 481

Is there any way you can add enable zfix to the Tank configuration? With all the DBG fixes it has gotten way worse.

A small tip for you that are setting up discord integration. Since there is no copy past atm it is kinda hard to get the webhookadress right by hand. You can add the adress straight to the ini file, but it's a seperate inifile from Mq2grind.ini.
The one you want to edit is MQ2Grind-Webhooks.ini. I don't want to admit how long it took me to realise there is 2 :)

The entry looks something like this:
[Webhooks]
discordWebhookURL=<<Your webhookadress>>

I don't have Grind anymore and haven't had it for a long while.
Once in a while this happens upon an update and when I poke around, I don't find a way to turn a switch off so it won't go looking for something that is no longer there.

Is there a switch I can flip to turn it off for always looking for Grind when I don't have it?
Same is true with other plugins as well were the case to arise.

open your macroquest.ini from the config folder
and remove the mq2grind=1 entry in that file, and save it and load up mq and you good to go

If you have already checked the RG Launcher Plugin Tab then read the following:
- The RG Launcher is unable to *delete* old files.
-- This means you will get an error box if you don't have a current plugin that matches the mq build
-- your options are:
--- a: purchase a license
--- b: delete the old .dll in your plugin folder, and/or
--- c: change your macroquest.ini to MQ2PluginName=0 under [Plugins]

It is probably PEBCAK but grind pauses on recycle due to the below logs. My group is there when I get back and I just click resume to pick it back up. I'm on RunCount 15 and have clicked resume manually probably 5 or 6 times?

I wrote a LEM temporarily to just resume grind if I'm in the right zone, grind is paused, I'm near the quest giver, and everyone is here but is anyone else having this issue?

I am leaving debug on and will catch the next one, but it seems like it's attempting to recycle and everyone isn't done zoning yet so it pauses and just stops.

This isn't a you thing, this error is encountered when MQ can't find `pLocalPC->pGroupInfo->GetGroupMember(#)->pPlayer`

hytiek updated MQ2Grind with a new update entry:

Changed behavior from sitting to standing, fixed a bunch of things, deprecated unreleased instances

Added
- Session-based configuration option to remain standing or sit and med when getting an instance

Updated / Fixed
- Discord integration was sending more API calls than needed
- Added timestamps to Discord integration debug messages
- The Grind UI UX in Eastern Wastes has been enriched to help navigate and start the different instances
- Removed the extra Mean Streets reference in safe mode and added When One Door Closes
- Will no longer pull a mob if a group member is dead; rather...

Read the rest of this update entry...

After this last update, upon completing the grind instance & zoning out - The leader no longer requests another instance. The Grind appears to just end, ready to press <Start> again. Sometimes it throws an '[ERROR][GET2LOC] Early exit due to a problem immediately before the '----[Exiting Task]----'. The other times it appears to end the task for all group members (and ending the grind) in a sequence of events.
Any suggestions?

It would help to know which grind instance you are having trouble with.

The scenario where "[ERROR][GET2LOC] Early exit due to a problem" is thrown when you haven't moved between locations in less time than you have defined for SafetyExitMinutes in the General configuration. This was introduced previously to handle when you get stuck fighting a mob with a Z-axis issue.

I'm having an issue similar to this as well. I'm not getting the error, but rather the plugin is attempting to get a new instance before the group has zoned out of the instance it just finished. It does its check for the quest giver and can't find it, so it just stops the plugin, it seems like the default pause between dropping the instance and actually leaving to request a new isn't long enough anymore. Going to try using the delay task get and set it to 30 to see if this resolves the issue for me

The instance I'm having the issue with is restless assault in GD.

If this relates to sleepers I am aware and will have it fixed today.

If it's not, please invite which instance you are having trouble with.

Thanks!
