Running the LS HaF mission, one of the toons I am powerleveling still tends to die a lot (I am waiting on 125 to get him geared up). What I have noticed is when he dies, the driver tank has moved off, so he is too far awayto be rezzed. I handle it manually by running the tank to the dead toons corpse, having the other live toons following, where the cleric or shaman will then rez the toon.

Could the plugin be made to run to the dead players corpse when it notices the toon is dead? The plugin does pause because of the death, so it is already aware. maybe base it on distance away, or something similar.

If it cannot be put into the plugin, I plannd on doing a LEM to handle the situation. Thanks!

What class is dying often? I understand lack of fear but you aren't running the toon naked or in heroic are you?

Its a new bard, just leveling from 100 to 125. And yes, he is mostly in heroic gear, I didn't want to outlay any plat for the armor until he reached 125, and it is on an account I normally keep gold, so I didnt want to spend plat on the 120 gear that would only be used for less than a week. I already have LS T3 gear made for his visibles, he just has to get to a level to use them.
 
I believe I understand what's happened and why. I'll be adding a few new options to Grind, including one to address this problem.

For gear, yes. Pally's tanking at 550k/9100ac, 5 toons are L125 (necro is L123), mage and necro pet are focused, everyone is in full T1 LS or better and I'm filling out Type 5s and normal augs as I go for each of them. I don't have problems running Shei for hours at a time at this point, the casters don't even run out of mana by the time the task recycles.

The only issue is that the pally just hits the error and immediately drops the task and pauses, but then he's not grabbing any mobs that proximity aggro during the minute-long wait for the zone to kick the toons out. The enchanter and cleric usually live because cwtn will mez/sanctuary to protect themselves even when paused, but nobody else fights back in a pause.

The is no immediate drop mid run. There is a safety exit if no movement was detected in five minutes or what ever you changed that configuration to. What value do you have for the safety exit?

The pausing only happens once the 60 second timer to exit begins.

Next time you see this I want you to capture and share the messages with time stamps. Highlight then ctrl c then paste into measure here or send me a direct message with the detail.

I want this to make certain that I am addressing the right problem.

Can't DM you for some reason, but if you can point me at the directory of the logs I'm happy to copy out the relevant parts. I went looking in the MQ folder but couldn't find any logs with [MQ2Grind] headers in them.

One thing that has helped me a little with naked PL toons splatting is to set them up with a larger chase range or give the MT a movement speed buff (I know Grind explicitly removes them). It doesn't fix the problem but in some cases helps them get to the mob last or get the tank to the mob first.

Grind does not remove any movement/speed buff; only Levitation by use of `/removelev` only in the Laurion's Song era.

It definitely removes lev when you click run to quest giver. I thought it killed selo's too and just assumed it also killed sow/soe, but now that I'm thinking about it, it might only be lev that get stripped.

You are 100% correct, Grind does (and I forgot it was there) remove levitation by use of `/removelev` instruction only in Laurion's Song due to the stairs.

LS HaF: If a toon has levi or a mount when it runs to staging area they often get stuck on the roof above Shalowain. Afterwards they never move to position 1. I can reproduce this consistently.

I would strongly recommend that you modify whatever is casting levitation on your group so that it does not do so when you are doing HaF.

If I add something to remove it, your configuration will just keep re-casting.
 
Someone on another thread suggested this instance for DoDH era, respawning and seems like no prior requirements : Hides you Seek ... maybe worth considering for lower level range grinding? Says 60-75 but that might just be the xpack. Never seen this instance, was just on another thread.
 
There’s already Pups of War in Beast’s Domain. First half of instance is dark blue at 95, second half of instance is yellow at 95

I started to look at this. You get the quest from an NPC but then have to zone somewhere. I read that the compass would be updated with the direction of the entrance, but that was not happening. Do you know where this entrance is, by chance?

Fundamentally, this is different from how Grind currently works. Despite that, I'm willing to look into it.

No, sorry, I know nothing about it. Just I saw it on another thread. If it works differently well that is maybe more pain than it's worth since I won't use it just thought others might.
 
Not sure what i'm doing wrong. I just purchased the plugin, ran to The Grounds, ran my group to Barkley, clicked start on grind UI, and only the leader zones in, the rest just sit there.

I then, for testing, manually zoned everyone else in. My bard didn't automatically start Kiss (even though i pressed the button to use Kiss for Bard under group makeup), all CWTN didn't go to chase (i manually made everyone chase). Then, he started, wen to spot 3/32, and is now just sitting there with a scarecrow targeted, but not moving towards it.

I also have the recommended Nav from the FAQ tab.

Issue was dannet was configured to use interface tailscale, which is like a permanent VPN tunnel built to some computers i access remotely.

Toons attack first spot, then run to next spot and sit / do nothing. I ahve to manually move them around until he picks up again. Tank targets the next mob but just sits. I think it is becuase he has no range item, i changed he GFTDistPullCmd to /squelch /multiline ; /face; /timed 5 /attack and he now runs to the next mob, but trains the group essentially then. What is recommended warrior pulling?

You can get one of the items that summons throwing items. Mysterious Belt of Daggers from VoA for one, there's one from most expansions back through at least TSS or so as well, not sure about after, but can set it to a summon clicky in mq2war or have it set to summon in KA and you won't have to worry about crafting arrows

Oh thats a great idea - i've looted, sold, and left about 20 of those belts, thanks!

I use MQ2War and most of the CWTN plugin suite. I take it for granted as MQ2War (for me) is configured to automatically summon arrows for me to a certain level and re-summon as needed. I use the Endless Quiver to summon arrows.
 
Is there a way to make the team stop to get mana in the middle of the grind ? i ran OOM on my pal/sham in mid grind.

Have used this without issue with an SK tank, when trying to run as a pally, on a different account, grind says its starting, but it never gets the instance.

Not getting any feedback to say anything is wrong, pally just never approaches NPC to request

Any where i can capture some info or what to try to get this driver to run?

You could run : /grind debug
 
TLP: Going from VOA to ROF. Pups of war (VOA) is dark blue until level 99. Gives ~ .122% per kill. At level 99 it gives ~ .099% per kill. So it is still a viable task for leveling to 100 in ROF.
 
I feel like Adding one of the Dead hills Gribble missions from CoTF would be a Viable one Aswell to add. Not 100% sure which one it would need to be but. I know they have a good amount of mobs in them.

Gribble missions are a GM hotspot. I will not be adding any of them.
