Looked back at the logs. There is a message that shows up after he zones in. It says Time Expired, camping now.

Is there a misconfiguration that would cause one of my bots to immediately start to camp when he zones into an instance? For some reason my cleric immediately starts to camp once he enters the instance. If I don't switch to him before the 30 seconds is up, he will camp out. When I hit cancel it stops his mac. At that point, I can restart kiss and he will run fine there after, but when I initially start, he is doing this.
https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/afkamp.85451/ maybe? (or similar, just looked through the code there and doesn't show that exact message)Looked back at the logs. There is a message that shows up after he zones in. It says Time Expired, camping now.
I only run 1 Lua right now, and that's for overseer. I am close to blowing away my cleric ini and starting it from scratch. The fact that its only 1 of my toons screams cleric config.https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/afkamp.85451/ maybe? Ah I see Sic has already asked the most relevant questions. It's probably somewhere hidden in your KA configI only run 1 lua right now, and that's for overseer. I am close to blowing away my cleric ini and starting it from scratch. The fact that its only 1 of my toons screams cleric config.

What are your MQ2Rez settings? IIRC, there's an option to turn off macros on death and restart on resurrection, so maybe the plugin is sending /end on death.Bard using kissassist, after rezed just chases group. Not sure why kissassist doesnt resume. This only seems to be the case when using grind. Any suggestions?
You mention in the FAQ section that your PL toon is not doing anything. How would i have to set this up?
My PL'ee keeps running into troubles/deaths.
EDIT: ... hmm, perhaps if i lower % value for assist? to 1%? this might work .. will test ..
or perhaps there is another / beter solution?
is this one of the zones that the meshes end up getting whacky because of the zone using a base mesh just an alternative state? if so, nav doesn't have a way to handle that yet, which would create a huge problem for nav (and grind)[BGCOLOR=initial]Awesome plugin! Ive been running it a lot since I purchased it![/BGCOLOR]
I was wondering if youre planning on adding older missions to this?
Ive been doing some Mech Guardian lately on a new group, and mobs in there respawn, so it could potentially run back and forth for 6 hours! - wouldve been awesome having this added to Grind to level up alts!

Nah this is the giant robot that walks around dsh with multiple floors inside. Better to just pick a good area and hunter tank for 6 hoursis this one of the zones that the meshes end up getting whacky because of the zone using a base mesh just an alternative state? if so, nav doesn't have a way to handle that yet, which would create a huge problem for nav (and grind)
100% same zoneyeah, you sure we're not talking about the same zone?

the zone is "guardian" which is "guardian_80" the _* is an alternate configuratation of the zone

Yeah, that seems to be the best solution. Kind of figured I'd ask, cause I found it messy navigating the elevators manually. Haha. You can huntertank at the topmost floor, that should work fine. All the floors below are such a pita mesh wise.
is there a way turn pause off while gathering mana before exit or a way to kill off charmed pets before you go into pause?

Have a suggestion for a lower level (85) instance in Underfoot called Dont Fear the Destroyer. It's in T1 UF, and seems pretty decent both when it comes to mobs, but also navigation. It's a relatively open zone, with little to no chances of getting stuck. There's also quite a few areas to clear; some more dangerous than others, but at most in the suggested areas you get 2-3 mobs.
Mobs are between 82-86, and consists of gnolls, kobolds and plants. Some spellcasters, but shouldnt be an issue. See screenshots of maps below for suggestions:

Probably stay away from this area:------------------- Can pull and kill here: ---------------------------------Also here. Few adds, but should be fine:

This is good news. I would love to see grind adopt some lower level missions. It will help people bringing up full groups, that don't have the ability to use Grounds PLing, it also fits nicely with level 85 heroics.I wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring this; its behind some progression and I've just started working on it.
No worries man, its EverQuest after all, weve been going for 20+ years, we can wait!I wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring this; its behind some progression and I've just started working on it.

follow me also does not work all the time after zoning iv noticed as wellI LOVE MQ2GRIND!
However, one issue I am having is after the grind is over with, my chase mode will not work unless I click follow me.

hi monkeyman, you replied to a post back in 2020 about followme (which isn't about mq2grind).follow me also does not work all the time after zoning iv noticed as well
2 Questions.
1. If all toons have an item set to NEVER on advance loot at the end of the event, is there any way it can just drop the mission instead of waiting for the 20+ minutes for the item or the mob to decompose and loot window clear?
2. I know this is a far out question but any chance at the end of the p[ath say 24/24 it can back track to clear any possible paths mobs it may have missed then drop?
thx
just trying to clear possible missed mobsHey there
So for question #1: The idea behind "Wait for loot" was to loot things which you might want, never the opposite. I understand why you are asking this and feel that a way to approach this is perhaps try Lootly or CWTN's loot manager to help speed up the Adv Loot window.
Regarding your second question is the concern something which attacks you before exiting or are you trying to ensure that you've killed all of the mobs that you could?
1.77-1.94 (on FV)Does anyone remember the aa per kill you get in shei grind at 120?
You can get clickys to teleport you to various floors. Years ago I used to enter robot, Teleport to top floor and AA xp for hours.Yeah, that seems to be the best solution. Kind of figured I'd ask, cause I found it messy navigating the elevators manually. Haha.
Thanks for the discussion though!
On live I'm getting 1.3 to 1.6.Does anyone remember the aa per kill you get in shei grind at 120?
it could - and you can do a lot pet tanking - but using a #real tank is going to substantially increase your ability to do things like missions and achievements and more complicated thingsSo I'll start out by saying that I came back after leaving in 2010. Like many, I was raid geared and could box (what was boxing then) pretty much anywhere at the time. I ran with my BL tanking, my wife's mage, my gimp clr, and a friend ran his mage and pulled with a bard. Here we are after 13 years and the game's changed. I'd digging it and I've bought licenses for mage, bst, and clr (I started an enc and got that too). I stumbled on MQ2grind and I've read thru the Discussion here and I've got a few questions. Could the bst (114) tank with a the /grind waiver? I'm not 100% on this one or would it be worth my time to just make a WAR or SK and do the heroic 100 for it? That's what I did for the rest of the toon to get them to 100. The mage and clr are sitting at 112 and the enc is at 107 now. Presumably an SK could pull.
Thanks in advance!
