That would be the safe mode option in the INI make sure its turned on and then you can list the location you wish to stop at in the line for that instance.Now that I think about it, how do you tell Grind to end at an earlier point? In GMM I think there are 26 stops....how would you get it to stop at 24 for example?
Wish this plugin would actually do the mission.... haha i guess i'm asking for too much![]()
Heya Hytiek, just want to make sure I understand. Fire up the first group (SK Tank, so /grind resettank shd) and then /grind start for group 1. Then load up the second group (WAR Tank, so /grind resettank war) and then /grind resetting war) and then /grind start for group 2?You can. The trick is if you run 2 different types of tanks. If you do, start up your first Grind sessions, then reconfigure, save the file, and reload on the 2nd tank; start it up on the second tank.

Where in there do I save the file?
Thanks again for this!

Hi Hytiek. This is a wonderful resource and I have been enjoying the Grind so far.
I have not as yet been able to make my Warrior pull correctly however and it is causing some difficulties in the more difficult (for me) missions.
I am using MuleAssist on all 6 toons and have the warrior set as Main Assist. I set up the Grind ini to pull with my bow and arrow set up. Normally what happens is, the Warrior will target the nearest enemy and instead of firing an arrow and waiting for the mob to come to her, she will target and immediately begin running to the mob oftentimes firing arrows on the way. The bad part is that often she is running into 3,4,5 or even 6 mobs and the Warrior is toast. (Followed by the rest of the group as they are in Chase mode.) What I would like to do, if possible, is have her fire the arrow, wait for however many mobs come, (hopefully only as many as 3 as I can handle that many at once in RA when it is a controlled pull.) and then tank them near where I fired the arrow from.
Is this possible or am I expecting too much? I attached my pull section in my ini for reference. (Sorry, I don't know how to embed the Ini into the message so I sent it as a .txt file.)
At this point I am not even sure if the problem lies with the Grind settings or perhaps a MuleAssist. setting. AFAIK MQ2Next doesn't work with MuleAssist so, I was hoping for a quick double check on my settings and perhaps a suggestion or two on how to get the Warrior to quit doing suicide runs into the mobs.
Thanks in advance and please excuse the long post.
In checking your INI - it appears correct to what you depicted. Only under the circumstance of the Target being < 100 units away, would the attack on begin. If your toon is running in while the target is > 100 units, it must be how MuleAssist is configured.
On a side note, please share your [Warrior] section as the tank uses both the Tank section and the Class section they relate to for Pause/Resume and End.
Changing the range from 100 to 60 is what really helped my group make grind highly reliable. It is a phenomenol mac to begin with and Next really brings it to life with instant changes being easily seen. Great stuff.

@hytiek is there a way we can address the horrible EQ programmering that allow group members to be dropped in different pick zones? It kills the grind.
Hello I have not played in a couple months and I also reset my computer so I reloaded everything and forgot to save my files. Inotice now that after every kill in the GD mission there is a pause. I read through and found where you added the delayatloc feature. Below is my Ini and its set to zero but still delay before it goes to next location.
[General]
SafeMode=0
lastTBLGMMLoc=0
lastTBLCoWLoc=0
lastToVRALoc=25
lastToVIALoc=0
lastCoVTCLoc=0
lastCoVToVLoc=0
lastCoVSTLoc=0
DelayAtStaging=10
DelayAfterRez=30
navDistance=20
groupGap=50
ExitMode=taskquit
WaitForLoot=0
DelayAtLoc=0
ThanksAdd pulseSkip=10 under general. Save, close, reload config. Should fix you up

Zerk, you can try it out for free on the Test server.Any way to get a 1 or 2 week trial before dropping 50$ on this? I don't use Dannet and would hate to waste money on something I wont use because I cant make it work.
Thanks

I may have missed it somehere in the thread but my warrior isn't summoning arrows with Grind. How can i make or change ini to have him summon arrows for range?
I've been getting stuck in there as well and lately been getting stuck in restless assault for some reason in spots idk why either pretty sure my meshes are up to date.Is there something up with pathing in GMM mission? Seems to get stuck a lot near the bottom of the ramp on those obstructions? and seem to die a lot near the end. make it all the way close to the end and that one dead end it lets my shaman or cleric die for some reason. yes using mq2war set as it always has been
Thanks, T
this means that you downloaded the mq2 version and are trying to run it on next. unfortunately they are completely different from a compiled point of viewTrying to figure out an issue I'm having. I'm getting the following when I try to load the plugin on MQNext:
The procedure entry point ppAdvancedLootWnd could not be located in the dynamic link library
I'm probably doing something real dumb, but I figured I'd reach out. I appreciate your time!

as with all the paid-for "next" plugins, they take a little while to sync that you purchased a license, it goes 6 times a day every 4 hours
yes, if you have your mq2eskay set to drop a campfire. then you will drop a campfireThought it was worth a post, Using MQ2Grind today on Restless Assault, SK dropped a campfire at 11/35. I am not using the campfire option. I think it may be from DoCampfire=True in my MQ2EsKay_*.ini. I haven't noticed this to be an issue with GMM.
/shd docampfire off it is off by defaultThank you!yes, if you have your mq2eskay set to drop a campfire. then you will drop a campfire/shd docampfire offit is off by default
