Your SK will do that in manual mode, unless there is something I'm misunderstanding about your question (likely) Like you said, put the others in chase and have at it with your SK in manual.

I play on test. I use MQ2class for 5 party members and Kissassist for the bard.
I'm aug hunting for the SK. I've got a named that can spawn in multiple spots and I am running from PH to PH. I've tried a few different things, but I seem to be failing at trying to do this effectively. And I ass-u-me there is an actual way to do it I can figure out.
I mark the SK as MT/MA. I want to run from PH to PH, target the PH, hit mellee attack, and have MQ2ESKAY do the fighting.
What mode do I put the SK in so I can move him about manually and run from PH to PH and then do the fighting?
The other 5 toons (I assume) I'd put them in mode 2 (chaseassist) so that they follow the SK around and then attack whatever the SK attacks.
The Kissassist bard I would change the ini from mode assist to mode chase.
Any guidance appreciated.

would guess you didn't adjust your zradiusHaving issues where puller tank is not pulling mobs that are clearly available to be pulled. Even ones close to me. They aren't on ignore and they're within radius. He just sits and says waiting for valid mobs to pull and runs to one way further when it spawns.

if you check the FAQ it shows you also how to debug pulling to see why y ou're skipping a mob you think you should be pulling

I have neither 'just kronoed or heroiced' on this character. I got it after latest update I think. Purity of Death and Dark Lord's Unity (Azia) is not a valid AA error. Relogged and got it again.
Hi Firewire, thanks for the nice words.Love the plugin and it's kicking ass. I've been scouring the documentation, ran a bunch of searches here on forum, looked everywhere but I can't find the answer.. I'm trying to see if there is a way to have the plugin use the single target instant cast aggro spell line (ie Terror of Discord) during fights. It uses the AOE (Dread Gaze) perfectly on cooldown when there are 2 plus mobs! I would just love to have to use the single target one, even just once on initial start of fight before it tries to do a dot/snare/anything would be an insane aggro control difference. Using it on cooldown like taunt when in tank mode would be the dream.
I don't play live servers (only TLPs) so I have zero clue if the single target isntant aggro line is even a thing and that's why it's not used. For the life of me I can't see how to make the plugin use it.

100What lifetap % do you normally run in a group situation ? I had left mine at 100% but he really drains mana quickly. If you have healers, do you drop your lifetap % down dramatically or maybe just 70 or 80% area?
i have. I think one of the biggest issues might be that im using Azia instead of Beza. Ill also tinker around with the dotmanamin and turn torrent off and see how much it helps.100
I'd only really suggest lowering it if you are: lower level, b: you are byos and you want to ensure dots fire, change to 99
did you read the faq about mana stuff?
in current game, with appropriate gear/aa/group you'll never have mana problems, ever.

It is used. We use any of the single-target jolt spells if we're not the target of our target (and tanking). we're not going to spam it, unfortunately - and don't plan on making that change. in fact, we get many requests to also *only* use taunt when aggro is lost, but we don't plan on doing that either =p
the regular jolt (not power jolt or aoe jolt) spells are one of the few spells that we'll actually use any of them you have memorized, and not just the one that the plugin says it uses. so if you byos'd and memorized a lower level regular "jolt" you would still use it.

Is there a config option to use those single target jolt spells that I might not have enabled? I can 100% for certain say, I've never had a situation where the plugin has used them while i've been in tank mode.
Interesting, that's good information. Is there a toggle or something in order for it to use? I did some more testing and can confidently say with my current setup, the only time the SK will use the single target jolt is in mode 5 for initial tags. I did a long run of mode 4 with wiz, ranger, and monk set very aggressively and they routinely pulling aggro off the SK virtually every fight. The SK was in byos custom with terror of discord up and it was never used looking at the spell count logs. Dread gaze AOE was used on cooldown with 2+ mobs in camp like clockwork which is the all-star of the show anyways. Overall it's not a big deal because the SK gets aggro back quickly and when the group isn't tuned as aggressively this is never an issue to begin with. I'm not sure if it matters but the entire group is lvl 70 which is max currently on our TLP.

There might be a new bug with the latest version. It doesn't seem to listen to the blocked buffs, even though it's blocking the addition. I created a GIF showing that its trying to cast and failing from voice of perception, then adding Venril's Covenant to blocked buffs and it keeps trying (no message though because it never applies due to being blocked. I've been this level for weeks, and today is the first time this loop has started happening.Yes. Check the FAQ
Decide which one you want and block the other.
Skipping the stuff in the sticky (like knowing about the FAQ, commands, etc) is going to lower your enjoyment.
Like not knowing there are spells you want to block on your pet for all around eq goodness.

i'd double check you don't have another automation doing it - you didn't show the mq2eskay window casting, just the eq window. kiss, rgmercs, muleassist, a conflicting Lua, etc. - if it is in the mq2eskay window you can just say that it is (i'll believe you if you say so, don't need proof)There might be a new bug with the latest version. mod edit - i read/watched what you posted, but deleted it since there were character names in it.
there is nothing in that build that is different.I'll keep digging. It's definitely the plugin doing the casting (noticed it when I came back from a bathroom break and there were 15 of them). I have tried blocking via name, and through the slash command with ID. I also tried blocking the other ranks too, but it still kept trying. I just noticed there is another new version from today after my current install, so I am logging out of EQ now to see if that update (or the relog itself?) fixes anything.
In this case it appears that we still look for the "Sebilisian Form", and coincidentally the FAQ says to still block the illusion portion of the spell. :p
well in your defense, we added a bunch of the illusions so we specifically wouldn't have to keep addressing this issue - but i missed one, sorry about that =pyeah, I always forget that I need to keep going back to the FAQ as I get new spells.... I will try blocking the illusion instead.
I bring up so many of these false things... I feel like I should start coding under you as repayment.. there aren't enough thanks for the work you do

yep posts about it in the mq2war thread tooGM @Sic and @ChatWithThisName , getting MQ2ESKAY game drops randomly this morning after latest update. No crash message, it just closes the window. Tried disabling Posse and MQ2autoloot to see if those were the culprits but it's still happening. Specifically it's happening when I activate /shd mode 5 and /shd mode 8. Happening in FTP boxes, Silver, and Prestige ... if that's helpful in any way. All toons are 115. Two separate machines, same issue
you're answering a question that was already answered 2-3 weeks ago. and going to "bump" the thread in a way that folks don't see that the current crash has a pending fix once the build server rebuildsI going to assume based on the limited info that you're talking about settings in the UI? Use the slash commands to change those settings. Clicking in the UI toggles them.
if i type /shd showsettings my sk crashes immediatly. i have for sure the latest version, because i do start rg launcher and update everything before i start eq (live server)
