Plugin - MQ2Eskay (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Trying to get him to cast lifetaps and such while in assist mode ,

Currently Warrior / is set to MA / MT -
Monk to MP -
im on assist. on sk and he wont cast anything but buffs / bond ? no dps tools what am I doing wrong ?
 
so My sk Wont ever cast on assist , and id like to be able to get him too.
tank mode works fine pullertank fine but not assist. any help would be great - thanks bro I really appreciate how awesome these plugins are.

As far as the ui window goes - its the same as every other CWTN plugin with a window just the /command and show /shd show --- you can always check in the Commands tab of the resource

the only stuff it doesn't do on assist is many of the burn items as i have only added in the burn routine for tanking, but all the regular casting stuff it doesn't care what mode you're in, as it takes place in combat

well, the group ac tap is in there, so not sure why you're not seeing it

The protest line i have in there for pulling, I can add it back to the regular routine as well. I'll have a bunch of updates coming in the next week or so as i'll be looking to shore up the stuff it does while not tank

As far as Gift of Drendar goes - this is your pet haste and not something we keep memorized all the time. Im guessing you didnt mean this spell tho. Let me know which you did mean, i can add a toggle to use torrent instead of another line in non byos mode

Yes, it would be amazing if you could put the protest line back and also add torrent line replacing Contemnt. The cast of Contempt is too long and I do just fine with AOE hate AAs.

well no i can't just replace stuff willy nilly. keep in mind the "out of the box" experience is designed to be something that would be the best "out of the box" experience for any and all setups. having zero aoe aggro memorized is silly for an "out of the box" spell line up. I was asking before what the opinion was to replace, but replacing the aoejolt line isn't a good candidate.

I can add a toggle that if you had something like useTorrent then it would memorize torrent instead of something else - maybe bond or powertap, or even skin - i really don't like the idea of replacing the aoe aggro

the fact that we keep up 3 short buffs in our gems really hinders us, but that's how dbg has it :(

the out of the box lineup we're using currently is

1. Normal Tap
2. HpBuffTap (Zlandicar/heofax etc)
3. DireTap
4. Dicho or another regular tap if we don't have dicho/dissi
5. Spear
6. Jolt
7. AoeJolt
8. Bond
9. Power Jolt (Confront line)
10. Hp/Mana Tap
11. Stance
12. Skin
13. Concordant

outside of what I've already answered you, I don't know what to say.

I will be updating to add burns and such to the assist routine here soon, since i have only put in tanking stuff, but the regular spell casting stuff doesn't care what role you're in - having said that, testing with the changes i've already made it casts all spells as expected - so once i get finished with these updates you should be good to go

are you manually casting a spell? if you are manually casting spells this can and will trigger our stuck gem stuff - which i do have some updates for in the next update or two.

If you are not - do you have something that is causing you to lose your mana regen buff from dark lords - like overwriting it with enchanter buff? will whatever ranks you have just overwrite each other?

also - mode 6 is puller assist - are you sure you're not meaning mode 5 for puller tank - i would recommend puller tank for your tank to pull with


Ah - you have 1300 ping - you are going to want to /shd checkforstuckgems off (for future purposes, you might want to mention that when you have unexpected results - that is a really unusually high ping)
 
oh thanks yeah i guess enchanter was over writing and nah pullerassist because i have a oog sk tanking most of the time
 
Sk is not using "taunt" for a couple days now in mode 4 nor mode 5.

Also likes to rebuff Dark Lord Unity during combat, which is something like 6 or 7 seconds.

as noted in other places in this thread the unity thing is due to the stuck gem check, which i have a few updates coming for - but if you manually cast a spell you'll trigger it, you can /shd checkforstuckgems off if you don't want to check for struck gems.

as far as taunt goes - you need to be mt/ma in your group window
 
Confirmed I am MT / MA - still not taunting. all plugins up to date.
That's pretty unusual.

The check isn't very complicated for taunt - it is basically "am i main assit or main tank" if so, then is Taunt ready? is so, taunt - and it happens fair early in the routine - so i'm kind of stumped on this one.
if you are not in game, or spell book is open, or you are dead, or you are casting, it won't do it. trying to see if i can force the issue on a few toons and turning up stumped atm.

you don't happen to have an issue with your computer's date/time being super wrong or very high ping do you?

@Sumatai thanks bud - we have an active list of items we work on for the un-finished plugins - don't worry about trying to get us information =p its a little more complicated (meaning we have to ensure the color code is what we want it to be so we don't get false positives like someone /saying some nonsense etc).

But we appreciate you!

in the meantime you can /shd useaasnare off if you want to turn it off

I just went ahead and added some logic to start detecting them, as well as functions to add them to the lists and validate lists. The lists will be temporary. It won't be saved anywhere. It will be handled per mob. So if you cast a snare on your target, and it gives the message it will add it to not do it again. If the mob dies, they get removed from the list. I will work in special cases. Such as Giants all being mez immune, I'll try to get their race and verify I can use a spell prior to attempting to mez them.

I know for example, all the rhino's in OT are snare immune. But is it all Rhino, or just the ones in OT/FM?

Can we add options to the menu that will enable hateful bargain and insidious denial (or the lines)? They're a source of DPS and healing, while also being AoE aggro. They could replace the current AoE aggro that doesn't do damage, and the Harmonious disruption spell. I know they are functioning in the logic, but you have to BYOS them, which makes us lose the benefit of not using BYOS.

That's the thought. However, I don't know if Harmonious is worth keeping over one of them. I just read that it's shit from the spell-guides, but I can't say for certain. The AoE jolt for sure though. Haven't run into any group content that I haven't enjoyed the additional tap and aggro.

yeah its really easy to get "out of scope" getting away from the core nonBYOS functionality - which is a "broad solution for as many circumstances as possible", which is why it is rather the exception than the rule to add options to change what is memorized - AoEJolt is a great "out of the box" option since it doesn't break mez, for example - but i definitely hear ya.

So We're gonna settle with adding a toggle to use insidious which would take over aoejolt, and not add a toggle for bargain - still byos is an option as always

I really wish Stance, Skin, and Disruption weren't such a short duration - sucks gobbling up those 3 gem slots

One note or observation, with the changes to dots for sks recently, bond needs to be on gift of mana or something cause 9k mana a cast the sks blow through mana quick

I was planning on adding a manadotmin like i have with mq2bst - that way you can set a value, and as long as you're above that value and meet the other checks, you would use the dot.

I'm actually in here now so i'll flesh that out

nah, we have our voice of thule buff happening in the checkspells/buffs section which is unused if you are byos since byos is handle your own spells/buffs

Ok thanks, think i'll have to turn byos on as bond kills his mana at the moment. He's level 97 and probably isn't geared well enough yet.

the next update will have the DotManaMin setting (among many other updates) which will allow to set a minimum mana value to use your dots at

For buffing, should check to see if the current Rank of Dark Lord's Unity (Azia)/(Beza) gives level relevant buffs.

As an example, my SK has Rank 7/9, which is only the 105 and lower spells, despite being level 110 and having superior spells in the spell book. The SK won't buff regular spells in this case. It will just cast the AA Unity, an even worse case is if you don't actually have the spells in that Unity Rank in your spellbook (cause I'm a goober) then you don't get any buffs and it just keeps trying to cast Unity.

yeah as a place holder i just had it checking for if you had rank 1, and if you did, then it wouldn't check the other stuff. I had a note to go back and figure out what the best way to do this would be.

The multi buffing AAs are kind of annoying to work with because you can have all sorts of whackiness in there.

What I'll probably just do is have it check azia/beza first - then it would check regular buffs after that - so if any can be written over with a better spell then it would which would also be useful for "in between"


Azia/Beza are checking against horror/mental anyhow

Just updated, this makes all the difference. Have set dotmanamin to 100 for now to stop him casting at all until I gear him up. Works perfectly, thanks for implementing this.
 
Couple items didn't make it into this build, so some updates i've been talking about won't be seen until next update.
