Speaking of clickies - Ench goes nuts with Obsidian Scale Cape w/ Shadow of Knowledge buff. not a huge deal to remove it from clickies every time, but ya know, whenever ya get around to it...

Just confirming, same here but I can't trigger it intentionally. Might have something to do with being full on buffs and Focus is down already? 1713739591669.png

nope, we check that you have room for the buff and that it stacks.

someone else PM'd me about the same thing - so I planned on checking this evening.

It looks like when i updated to ensure we have buff space, I accidentally removed the "only use this when it is ready".

i'll fix, thanks for the report
 
Thanks for this (and other) CWTN plugins, loving them so far! Had a quick question about Spire... I'm not seeing Spire being used when 5+ mobs are pulled like my other toons. Is using spire attached to any of the options or is something not working right? Thanks!

we try and always pair spire with CI
 
I have a 120 Enchanter I have been working on, she has just been an XP sponge until today, I went to update her spells and the missing list had a all the spells in Shar Vahl and Maiden's Eye but also listed Spell: Bewilderment from stone hive, once I scribed all the spells from Maiden's eye Spell: Bewilderment dropped off the missing list.

Was Bewilderment on as an error?

All missing spells are listed, if you're missing multiple spells in a single group the automated system will list all of the missing spells. Once you got the better of them it no longer recognized the lower level one it had no intention of using as missing as it was no longer better than the one you had.

Essentially, one of the spells from ME was better than bewilderment, so it's no longer listed as missing as you have a higher level spell in that group. So no, not an error.

Ideally you just get the latest spell in a spell group. Some spells we use multiple from the same group, in which case it would still be listed. So when you miss multiple levels best to get the highest level spell in a group first, and if there are still missing spells go back and get that one since we are interested in multiple spells in the group.
 
I would love it if this plugin allowed for the enchanter to use /mark (or another function) on their pet to ensure that the same pet was recharmed each time.

^ Also adding some synergy with MQ2Cleric to stun broken charm pet on drop would be wild!

Just my thoughts after testing out the plugin, appreciate all the work done on these.

we do try and re-charm the same mob already. we don't /mark it, no

Thanks for the response, maybe I read/heard some old information about it not charming the same mob. I need to do more testing.

Is there anway to point the enchanter at a mob you want it to charm?

no, it is going to get the highest level charmable mob on xtarget

looks liked out-dated info in the FAQ, i'll update, thanks for bringing that to attenton stov
 
anyone know why my enchanter moves around when using this plugin ? none of my others move around but ever once in a while my enchanter will be in a spot other than standing on campfire. has me so confused.

Did you check the FAQ?

We will move to mez if a mob is inside your camp, but otherwise we don't do any special movement
 
Been a while since I charmed, but I think this is a new behavior: my enc is spamming Companion's Aegis when a charmed pet pulls aggro, but eq is telling me this ability only works on summoned pets

hrm, interesting - will have to give that a think

not sure there's a good solution (other than tying the usage to only when usecharm is off)

in the meantime you can add the buff from your rank of companion's aegis to your pet's blocked buffs and it won't use it

trying to think if this eq behavior has always been this way or not

I don't play pet classes enough to know historically, but I did some digging and according to eqresource it was changed in 2015? That doesn't seem right though cause I feel like we would've seen this sooner. I'm also just speculating that pet2 is what tells it it's only summoned pets so I could be way off.

Any chance the pet's Type shows up as Pet2? That might work as what you could flag it on, though imo tying it to usecharm is totally valid.

Running into two questions with the Enchanter.
1) It's not summoning its pet, and I don't have charm checked.
2) I'm also not sure which aura to use. My line up is pal/bst/mage/dru/shm/enc.

Tiny daggers was the first thing I checked for. I do have plenty of those. Not sure what the issue is.

not byos, have components, use charm is off (unless you don't have any charm spell) and we don't think you have a pet (which is why i mentioned byos), that's it

obviously visible (or have a camp set)

Couple of things I've noticed:

If I turn off UseCharm the charm spell, Esoteric Command, stays memed in slot 2. Then the DPS spell in slot 8 is frequently replaced to buff Gloaming Auspice. Any chance that could be substituted for the charm spell if UseCharm is off?

If I have a pet illusion clicky and charm a pet, the chanter continuously tries to illusion the charmed pet. I'm just deactivating the clicky if I have UseCharm on but I thought I'd mention it.

I have a mage in the group using MQ2Mage. If the chanter charms a mob, the mage will try to give it weapons if UsePetWeapons is on. Easy enough to turn off but would be nice if it knew that pet was invalid.

Nothing critical here and I'll never go back to KA inis. I spent so much time tweaking and tuning KA and the plugins are just so much better. Happy customer here. Next up: MQ2Eskay :)

If charm remains in a lot 2 it means that the spell wed normally put there is already elsewhere. I can adjust so it goes back in 2.

If use charm is off, we're not going to intentionally memorize it.

Re charmed.pet, only certain charmed pets can't have weapons - not a real good way to determine what can/cant

There is not. A spell will be put in a slot if the plugin wants a spell in the slot based on your settings and you're not in BYOS or BYOS Custom.
If you want to use an empty spell slot you can just memorize something there. The plugin won't force a slot to be empty if it doesn't want to use the slot. But it also won't use an empty slot for other things just because it's empty. So if you have a buff or something you want to keep in that slot the plugin will use it from the slot without forcing it to be in slot 8 which is generally what we use for buffs.

For what it's worth Slot 9 uses Mana Replication.

If I'm running a toon with a CWTN plugin (I know MQ2Enchanter,MQ2Sham,MQ2Bers does this) and camp (but not to desktop) and switch to a character running Kissassist I see the error below. The only way to get a toon running Kiss to work is a camp to desktop before loading.

you have something - like boxhud, trying to access "CWTN", this is in the boxhud faq.

it might be *something else* not boxhud, but is related to that
