do you have anything weird about your UI?

when you change your auras we click them off before casting them

can you plz check
a: that there isn't anything weird with your aura window
b: what does your aura window show? if it shows nothing, but eq says you can't have the aura we're trying to cast - we're gonna keep trying until you have an aura --- I've seen auras bug out on toons before requiring a rezone
 
Using default UI.
Clicks off aura, casts new that shows Mana Resurgence Aur 1

MQ window shows casting the Mana Resurgence spell, but the spell cast window shows its trying to recast the aura.

wait. you do understand that "Mana Resurgence" is not "Mana Resurgence aura" correct"

the above image shows you are casting mana resurgence aura, and then casting mana resurgence.

it doesn't last very long, and you're going to cast it on all casters.

if you don't want to cast the single target buff - you can /enc usereplication off
 
Correct, but when I have the aura selected and active, the enchanter tries to cast the spell on each member, but the cast window shows that it's trying to recast the aura, not the spell.

this is the image you shared - you cast mana resurgence aura once

you then continue to cast mana resurgence - the single target buff, on other toons

it does not say it is casting the aura

if you don't want to cast the single target buff - you can /enc usereplication off
 
The spell casting window shows it's casting the aura, and gives the message that I can't cast another. The spell isn't being cast on other toons.

I can share a screen capture video if that will help.

because the image you shared does not show what you are saying

understood - we're on the same page now.

this, unfortunately, is a weird eq thing

we do a /cast "spell name" which appears that eq goes down the spell list and find the first thing that matches

you can replicate this by memorizing both

mana resurgence aura in gem 1
mana resurgence in gem 2
then do a /cast "mana resurgence"
eq will cast mana resurgence aura

if you swap the places, it will cast mana resurgence as expected.


There will be a couple ways to solve this - so will take some thinking to not break stuff.

in the mean time you're likely going to have to turn off useReplication so you don't have both memorized
 
Hi Sic,

I'm probably reading the condition wrong but if I have 2 targets on xtarget should UseSlowAoE not trigger based on my settings below of AoECount of 2?

So my enchanter is going senile, I think. It started today; no matter what mode I put her on, she keeps following my tank. I just finished doing Aten and was going to start Oubliette. I went to set up in the room and put all my guys where I wanted them and set them to assist. I took my Sk to start the event and the enc started following. I tabbed and put her back where I wanted her while CWTN was set to manual and then changed to assist. Again she followed. Back to manual, put her back where she needs to be, change to assist. End the plugin and restart, made sure she is on assist, tab to SK and mode, bam there she goes. Any ideas why this would be happening?

EDIT: nm, that was weird. I updated everything and restarted the clients. Working as expected now

we already do, for some it is used during twincast time (but only if you have usechaotic on --- it should be moved out of use chaotic, but for the time being you can just make sure that is on, and you will use it
 
Ahh okay makes sense, I have usechaotic off as it caused issues with the mage and its pets re-engaging. Thanks for the fast reply :)

The plugin is amazing. I got it just to test it out and haven't gone back to the mac really.

I was trying to get my enchanter to cast the disempower line and realized it isn't in the lineup list at all to BYOS. In researching I found this thread and the above message.

Any chance this is going to be added? My tank is woefully weak, and I think the Somnolence proc and the cripple itself would be a large help here at 80 on Riz.

I am not sure how long until the line becomes obsolete as it must since no one else is requesting it except us lowbies.

I can take a look - definitely no promises :p the message you quoted was 2 years ago --- stuff added would all but certainly just be for byos/byoscustom

but like i said, i don't mind taking a look

I can probably write a LEM that would pause, cast disempower, and unpause if I nuke something that doesn't have disempower on it? That'd hold me over a while if I could get it to work.

well the individual line you're talking about ends at 96, i think because shaman turgur's line ends up being a freebie and poo-pooing all over cripple line

Does the line change at 96? I see an identical effect with Constraining Helix and Constraining Coil at 108 and 113 but they now have disease effects. I am not 100% they proc somnolence but probably as the somnolence requirement is a strength debuff effect and 10 mana.

yep those are slows and not the disempower line

at lvl 88, curtailing helix takes the slow (desolate deads at 69 ((nice))) and incorporates the cripple line

Ahh thanks. So from about ~60 - 87 is the only time this would matter then. Projected Somnolence kicks in at 66 with the DoDH AA but doesn't get great until later and then it continues applying with the consolidation into Helix but the plugin already uses Curtailing Helix line as the slow right?

So roughly Planes of Power to House of Thule you'd I'd have the free mana to and a desire to cast the single disempower.

well - yes, sort of

later on you use slowing helix AA, which casts your highest level slow spell
 
Byos for Cripple is working great. Thank you very much for the addition.

I have one more feedback to give if possible. And this is probably an AA debuff vs spell debuff issue for low levels only.

Realized while watching for shattered and order that Enc often nukes 1 time on starting up before anything else.

Is there a way to move that first nuke after the debuffs?

I've watched about 10 fights and every time he nukes one time first before starting debuffs.

no, that is because buffs haven't populated on the mob yet - so we're not going to debuff it until we know what buffs it has/doesn't, so in that time frame we can squeeze out a nuke, we're gonna do that
 
I did a little searching here, but did not see what I was looking for, if this is answered already I couldn't find it.
I wanted my 85 heroic Enc to be a pullerTank for a group of 60s, but the enc is stuck casting Voice of Prescience, and the message says the intended Recipient is too low for this. Is there a way to turn it off? and/or should the enc be casting a lower level spell for the group of 60s?

you'll need to block it on the person who can't get the buff
