MQ2Enchanter

Plugin - MQ2Enchanter 3.1.52471.11

I will be snagging this as soon as it is available too. Take my money already!

I can't wait for this either! Perhaps I would remove Sic's Duct Tape and let him out of his chair for an early copy! LOL I know, NO! :) I will be buying it As soon as it is released. Current team is SDH/BER/CLR/WAR/ENC/WIZ, and all but the chanter and wiz are running the plugins. Kissassist is great too, it's just in part, (I restarted recently) that is is a pain to keep updating the INI every time I would level. I love the "Just Load and Go" of these plugins.

With this and shaman it will be the full meal deal....I look forward to it. Seriously good work across the board. I just started a full group of 3 zerks shm clr and war all using your plugins. not even 3 days to 1-50. Fun as hell. Thanks for breathing life (and more importantly FUN) back into the game for me.

i am eagerly awaiting both but i guess shaman still far away it doesnt have its own resource yet

You got a little excited when you saw a new post here. Move along!

Yeah. AE Tash? AE Slow? And I think the decision to not tash/slow things under lockdown needs a revisit. There are typically gaps in spell casting the AAs could fill.

we would and do obviously use aoe stuff.

like seriously.

what i said in the video is that we don't have a "debuff all" thing where we start targetting everything and debuffing them. I didn't say anything about not using AoE abilities.

Which is fine. The video didn't cover AE at all. It's good to get the cleared up.

What the video did touch on was the no "debuff all". I think that's something to rethink. Yeah, the groups job is to kill stuff. The Enchanter's job is to lock stuff down and make it easier to kill stuff. Doing those debuffs while they are locked down eliminates potential problems for the group in the process.

If it is re-thought, PLEASE make it a toggle. (which I can't imagine not being done, but still).

On the main subject, SUPER hyped for this. Have been planning to switch all of my toons over as soon as I can do the full group. (besides the bard, I'd love to see that but I'll deal lol. maybe I'll boot him for my shaman when that one drops)

There's not much to clear up. i repeated a few times this is pre-release. and I was pretty specific about not targetting around for debuffing. not sure why you have such a strong opinion on something you haven't seen.

We specifically do not have plans for targetting around mobs and debuffing them. like i said. And as with everything - anything can change - but at this time, not only do we not have plans to - we specifically plan not to.

Doing great so far, but we need to drop the charmed pet after X number of seconds with nothing on xtar. I'm running a mission that won't proceed because I've charmed one of the mobs needed to be killed. I could always turn off charming for this mission, but ehhh, the 40+k DPS is nice.
I had to manually hit invis to drop the pet. Any other ideas for using charm but dropping it when needed? Maybe an invis command from my driver (tank) character?

yeah sounds like something you want to do manually.

we're not going to arbitrarily drop a charmed pet after x amount of time - just have your ench invis or something like you said

It's probably something to toggle off when doing this particular mission (Fight Fire), and maybe a call to my enc to drop invis to break the charm.
I didn't even want to have the ability to charm, my enchanter was just an aDPS / crowd control soul-less bot, that I created with only the intent of helping me crawl through shitty places like ToFS, Velks catacombs, and so on. But now it's a goddamn DPS machine, especially on single / named pulls where I don't need to CC anything because it's just one mob and the tank is pounding away on it. It won't beat my tank with a vel enhanced 2h'er, but it whooped my cleric with a vel enhanced 2h'er in combat/melee mode. And my enchanter is silver with barely T1/snowbound gear, performing great.

Pre-Release means it's free to use, and may (and likely does) contain bugs. You can use the plugin and report any bugs you find, or you can use the plugin and not report any bugs you find. Preference is towards reporting bugs you find so that they can be addressed to improve the quality of the plugin. It's your choice to report issues, no obligation.

I have the plugin in watch but its not showing up even with refresh. I dont see a download button or any other way to choose it.

Thank you so much CWTN & Sic. Just rolled into Seeking the Sorcerer with my 6 man crew like a Boss, swapped a zerk out for the newly empowered chanter, thanks to MQ2Enchanter, 3 minutes later it's all over. So nice to see those restless fleshpiles get mezzed - at least I think they were mezzed - happened so fast, it was hard to note who was doing what. Wow, you guys have made the game so much fun again with these amazing plugins. Cannot say Thank You enough!

I'd like to test this too, have watched but dont see it in launcher, what am i missing?

it is pre-release. so it is already in the install (not on plugin tab)

/plugin mq2enchanter load

The only issue i'm seeing so far, is that my enchanter keeps chain casting Eldrich Rune (which won't take because of self rune). Other than that, works great at pre-release state. Can't wait to buy. Thanks for working on these INIS. I could also be an idiot, and not see a setting that needs to be changed. Hope this helps out.

We need a toggle to turn off pet usage (I have charm turned off) - or to stop trying to cast a pet when we obviously have no tiny daggers.
It's not actually trying to cast spell, but it does interrupt medding when in assist mode.

Other than that, it's a solid piece of machinery. I turned charm off because I was clearing through a zone and picking up mobs here and there, and want to invis before I move on - which I can't do with a charm pet and not cause another fight. It's nice added DPS for sure, but when in chase mode and I'm moving through a zone, it was just a lot easier to not go with charming mobs.

That's just outputting that you have no tiny daggers, but you have a pet spell and usecharm off. You can just buy tiny daggers and the plugin will stop reminding you every few seconds. This won't interrupt medding, since it's not actually doing anything. At the point where it outputs that you don't have the daggers, it just returns out saying that the petspell isn't ready and moves on.

So ive had an interesting experience, im running MQ2eskay/cleric with mule assist bard, mage and druid( all lvl 37) they were all turned on and buffing and working as intended, so i turned on the new enchanter, this is were it got weird, the enchanter started to buff the group with clarity and augmentation... but for whatever reason, my other characters were clicking off clarity/augmentation so the enchanter would recast those spells... this chained over and over till out of mana, but it also made my druid recast pack spirit, and the cleric had to rebuff, as those buffs had gone so the cleric and druid got stuck in the buffing cycle due to buffs being clicked off.... turned the enchanter off and everyone went back to normal :D
