Attached is my ZoneConnections file that I have updated for use on EMU servers. This should include connections for all zones in to and out of Plane of Knowledge (using stones) as well as most of the classic EQ zones. As I add more connections through the other expansions I will update this post with a newly updated file. If others would like to contribute, just let me know what connections to add and I can update the file with those as well.

With the new reload command this file can be placed right alongside the existing ZoneConnections.yaml file and it will not get touched when EasyFind is updated. To load and use this file when playing on an EMU server use the following command:
/easyfind reload ZoneConnections_Emu.yaml

It needs to have added the PoK clicks back in some zones, but this allows me to /travelto sharvahltwo from the guild lobby with a route that doesn't include nexus and half the ToL zones!

I feel like I'm taking Crazy Pills but can't seem to get the easyfind to reload the EMU zone connection data. I've placed the file in the Resources/Easyfind Folder and tried running a whole variety of:

/easyfind reload ./ZoneConnections_Emu.yaml

/easyfind reload ZoneConnections.yaml
/easyfind reload ZoneConnections_Emu
/easyfind reload ZoneConnections

I've tried changing the file name, quotes around the name etc etc, no matter what I try I always end up with some variety of the error message:

Any idea what I can try?

When using /travelto Acrylia Caverns, when leaving POK, it gets stuck on the Shar Vahl stone, selecting between Shar Vahl and Divided. Is this deliberate, or being worked on? I just mention it in case it has not yet been brought up before (which I am sure it has)

FYI in case anyone wants to be able to travel between Demiplane of Life and Demiplane of Decay, since I didn't see it posted anywhere else here or in the discord, you can add the following to your ZoneConnections.yaml (You'll need to complete the 3 flag missions, Seal of Approval, Into the Temple (a) and Into the Temple (b) to get the clicky and have the clicky on your person):

Is there any way to make /travelto work for zones and zone connections that don't appear in the Zone Guide window? Like is the Zone Guide data saved locally in a file in the EverQuest directory that I can edit, or is there a way that I can tell mq2easyfind that a zone connection exists even though it doesn't appear in the Zone Guide?

One example is the zone connection from Stoneroot Falls (westkorlach) to Dreadspire Keep (dreadspire) using the statue that requires a dinner invitation. The Zone Guide does not list a connection from Stoneroot to Dreadspire so the path always wants to go through The Hive instead.

Another one is Corathus Lair (corathusb), it's not on the zone guide at all. When you're in there and click the Current Zone button nothing happens. But there is a door (switch 1) in Corathus Creep to zone into Corathus Lair, when you have a task for it. I tried adding it to ZoneConnections.yaml

But if I'm in Nektulos I still can't `/travelto corathusb`, I think because it's not able to find a path with the zone guide. I get error message: "Failed to generate path from Nektulos Forest to Corathus Lair: Could not find path to target zone."

Another issue, not necessarily related to mq2easyfind, but even if I was somehow able to find a path, I don't think it would be able to nav to the door because `/nav door id 1` does not work inside of Corathus Creep. That gives error: "Could not locate destination on navmesh: (-835.88, 920.21, -46.93)" I tried adding a "walkable" area that covers the door in the nav mesh and then I started getting a similar but different error message: "Could not find path to destination: (-835.88, 920.21, -46.93)" but at least it was able to locate the destination on navmesh now?

If I can get passed the "Could not find path to target zone" issue, I think I could make the zone to corathusb work by giving it a loc near the door, and then using a script to click the door, if nav'ing to the door remains an issue

well i just got access to it - i had some waiting for merge for a while too, some of them in the pending update seem arbitrary and i haven't gotten to check each of them yet - and if you compare yours and the one there are different

i should have that stuff checked in a day or two

so if the thing you want to add is already there, then you don't need to toss it up, but if it isn't then you should (for future reference)

I added Pal Lomen the other day but easyui lists a different loc to the one i put in the yaml file and it does not want to go to the corrected loc. i added the loc to mq2nav and tell it to run to the corrected loc it has not issue. But since for some reason the yaml loc isnt being looked at it. Thus /travelto and the ui will not run to this zone in the Inn. I've not had any issues in the past and have add the corrected into thoe github. Sent this to a friend to test and he's having the same issue the ui is using a different loc. Any thoughts?

Keep in mind when you edit the zone yaml you need to reload the file in easyfind. Also, every time you update through the launcher it will overwrite any custom zones you added to the yaml.

Using /travelto to map a route back home from maidentwo has you go through BoA to Bloodfalls. To my knowledge there is no zone line here.




Does anyone know why this connection was put in here?

Have an issue getting into Pal'Lomen using easyfind. It says it cannot find the loc on the mesh. Not sure if this is a mesh issue or an easyfind, but im kinda looking for a way to fix it

I'm having the same issue. When I use easyfind to /travelto pallomen it tells me failed to find a path to the destination. If I manually put a /nav waypoint to those coordinates, it also does not nav there. When I use -1017, -125, 21 it can navigate to that location

How I fixed it a bit ago - If you know how to update meshes, you need to create a small box just in front of the door that is walkable, so it updates that you can walk all the way to the door. I'm sure there is something with easyfind that can be done, but like others, I always forget to do a backup of the file so it gets overwritten.
