MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (2 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

I am still getting all this new stuff down as far as mqq2zerker and stuff
I would strongly encourage getting eqbc and mq2nav setup - they are fundamental to your experience, imo

HERE are some videos from redbot on getting autologin, eqbc, and mq2nav setup

Once you have that setup, you should check out my video HERE where i go over eqbc, mq2nav, a little bit about how i move my group around and using kiss and mq2 features like /camphere and /travelto etc

I agree with @Sic ... I hesitated using EQBC for a long time, but as soon as I jumped into the deep end my boxing experience changed dramatically. It is now a MUST HAVE... DanNet is a parallel project that has some unique capabilities (in addition to replicating most of EQBC's functionality). If you're just starting out, maybe learn DanNet... both are super powerful.

Yup all good thanks that worked.
Have to hail Virtuous Dusk in Stratos and say "Reminder" This will update the dissident rage skill in MQ2Bezerker.

So simply buying the tome and scribing it does NOT update the skill.

Thanks for stopping by, sorry I wasn't available yesterday. Glad you got it sorted though. I was aware of the bug where DBG neglected to give BerZerker's their Dissident Rage 1 ability to go with Dissident Rage and planned accordingly to catch the issue so that you at least did Dichotomic. I'm glad you got it sorted though and hopefully others will find your conversation and know how to handle it in the future :-0

having some issues with communion of blood aa and rebreather disc being spammed from what i can tell is only seems to happen after death and have to /zerk mode 1 again to fix this is there anyway to fix this? have had this issue sense download and have been using for a few weeks but finally decided to bring it up because getting annoying due to running 3 zerkers

its also spamming Bloodlust, even thou toon hasn't activated plugin. i.e logged in and afk in lobby no "mode" selected.

btw this is on a complete fresh install of Windows, EQ and MQ2 on a New machine, so technically Toon has never used MQ2, KA or MQ2berserker. I.e all ini files relating to toon were freshly generated on login.

plugin is activated in mq2 ini I.e mq2berzerker=1

Question. With my zerker at 49% health because of open wound or whatever it is...(new to zerkers) I noticed my cleric running SiCs fast heal cleric keeps trying to heal zerk. With the 1/2 hps on zerk and the cleric thing will this be an issue in say Trial of 3 where the AoE's are kind of a pita? I havent ran the zerk through the trials yet and was wondering if anyone has used the MQ2BerZerker through it or not.

Also, I know it shuts off MQ2 melee, is that an issue with the toons that are using it on the same computer? Testing MQ2 zerker out in group and wondering.

yeah i use mq2berzerker through trialof3 all the time --- why 49%? that sounds low. I have my cleric setup specifically to handle having zerkers in group and haven't seen an issue with it

MQ2BerZerker is always "Activated" if it's loaded.

i know but shouldnt be spamming Blood lust when its already cast and when no mode has been activated by the Toon in question.
The Toon has never left Guild lobby since new computer build, Fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro. FRESH EQ, FRESH MQ2 and FRESH MQ2Berserker.

It defaults to manual mode. But it still does downtime things in manual mode and it still assists during combat as if it were an MQ2Melee type plugin with a bit more kick. There is no mode that doesn't do anything at all.

C++:
        //Aura
        if (BERAura && !IHaveBuff(BERAura) && !IsAttackOn() && DiscReady(BERAura)) {
            DoCombatAbility(BERAura->ID);
        }

Likely when you are loading buffs isn't showing up, to include your aura's, and it's spamming it trying to get it on. I'm not sure of a way to account for the buffs no showing up despite being loaded into the game, the plugin only see's what the plugin can see. I suppose optionally I could try to get it to not do any downtime things while in lobby/hall/pok if that's what you're asking me to do?

The install being fresh for everything has no relevance.

Limiter:
Ritual Scarification - Level 106
Open Wound - 96
Bloodfury AA (Not on Disc Timer) once obtained if no Limiter found.

So what level is your berzerker? If you are level 106 or higher -> when you do /zerk missing, does it say you are missing ritual scarification? that's the upgrade to Open Wound and a must have upgrade at that. Open Wound seems to have a varying modification to the max health of a berzerker and isn't consistent from one character to another. For Ritual Scarification it's always been consistently at 89% health max, which makes his healer work great for me.

MQ2Melee is unloaded using /plugin mq2melee unload noauto

the "noauto" part means, don't save that I'm turning this off.

This means that it only applies to that berserker this instance of EQ. So if you load a berzerker and then load another character after MQ2Melee has been unloaded, it will still load mq2melee on the other character that just loaded. Likewise, if you close down EQ (completely exit it) for the day and you come back the next day that berzerker will load MQ2Melee at the start of their login and then MQ2BerZerker will unload it again with the same method.

The only case where MQ2Melee doesn't get reloaded is if you have loaded in a berserker and it unloaded mq2melee, and you unload mq2berzerker. You would have to manually load it again because I don't store the value of if it was loaded or not at the same for the shutdown process to know to load it again. But again, it doesn't save to the INI that it's no loaded, so if you closed EQ and opened EQ again then it would again load MQ2Melee.

I hope that clarifies things.

Thanks Chat, I will have to look at it tomorrow. Zerk is 110 max aa yada yada...literally just pulled the trigger on the zerker plugin.

So to keep it simple on the MQ2melee- I load six toons, I KA all of them on tank, start up zerk- does that mean i need to do something special to make sure all of the others that are using mq2 melee are using it?

Nope, nothing special needs to be done. basically the change to unloading mq2melee on the berzerker is local to that character and nothing needs to be done on any other character to account for the unloading on the berserker.

How would I go about turning off communion of blood aa and rebreather disc? Or would it significantly effect the rotation and the general overall dmg?

Both of those generate your endurance so there is either no downtime at all or virtually no downtime. Turning either one or both of those off is likely to significantly effect your ability to do damage since you won't have any endurance.

Had some problems with the Zerker DSP was #1 or #2 in the group until he leveled last night now DPS is even below the bards. Leveled from 93 to 94. Have tried rebooting the PC, deleting the zerker ini file and letting the plugin reload nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

Never mind was messing with chat filters yesterday that's screwing up the parse.

i tend to run around the zone. pull a bunch of mobs kill them then run to next location. zerker keeps staying at last camp for 15-30 seconds then runs uup to the group. any reason this is happening?

his he being rooted in place with frenzied resolve?

@ChatWithThisName I'm having the same issue as before with my silver zerker and rank 2s. When I load the plugin its defaulting rk 2s to off and when I turn them on it crashes to desktop with no message, just the screen is gone.

Both of my berzerkers AND my rogues sometimes do a jiggy 'dance' or stutter when they are circling around a mob to get to the backside. Because both the rogue and berzerkers do this I am curious. It happens around every 5 mobs or so and the jiggy dance always happens as they are circling around and get to 90 degrees from front (or half way between front and back). If I do nothing, they eventually break that (between 2 and 6 seconds) and finish circling to the backside. I can break the stutter by manually moving the character in any direction. Any clue? (I am using a generic .INI with mq2melee = 0 on all 4 characters. Edited to add that both rogues are using your mq2rogue and both beserkers are using your mq2berserker plugins.

That's a kissassist issue. I highly suggest downloading all the meshes and putting the characters in assist mode with the camp radius modified to your liking. I cannot support the workings of a macro.

Ty Chat. I always run them in assist mode. I will play with the camp radius. Good suggestion.

Edit: Changed to 100 still doing it. I will post under KISS. (I am running the latest mesh etc).

I apologize if I wasn't being clear. MQ2BerZerker has it's own assist mode, if you use the assist mode of MQ2BerZerker you can't use KissAssist because they will want to drive the character differently.

/zerk mode assist

will put the berzerker into an automated assist mode, much like a /camphere on type KA setup.

The default range for the camp is 60 /zerk campradius

The only reason you'd NEED to run kissassist is if you want kissassist to drive the characters movement. and allow you to use aliases/binds that are specific to kissassist such as /camphere on, /chase on etc. Also, in the event you want to assist a specific character that is not currently in the group, because I do not have support for assisting outside of the group/raid environments added to the logic.

MQ2BerZerker has the following modes.
Manual (for use with another macro that will operate all movement),
Assist (Sets a camp, and uses that camp to assist the MA),
Chase (Follows the MA around and assists the MA at the AssistAt value),
Vorpal (doesn't use a camp, nor does it chase, but will assist the MA. This mode requires you use hotkeys to move your berzerkers up to you and otherwise stand in place until you pull something to them.)

I tried to create modes that promoted some of the methods you have become accustom to using in Kissassist, as well as creating the manual mode option which people have asked for in the past to allow them to manually pilot the character, while still letting the plugin handle the key smashing and order in which those abilities are used.

So if you want to use MQ2BerZerker to it's full potential, give the /zerk mode assist
a try and see how it performs. If you do not have a macro running at all, and you are in /zerk mode assist, and you still experience jiggly movement while attempting to rotate around the backside of a mob. Please let me know so that I can address the issue.
I haven't experienced this issue, and those that I know that don't use KA have not either, I just want to avoid trying to chase down a bug that doesn't exist.

If you need assistance with getting the plugin setup to run on it's own. Please let me know so that I can work with you on getting things setup.

I'm having trouble when the zerker is rezed, she goes back to where she died, many times there is still a mob there. I have tried changing her mode to manual before being rezed with dannet and tried putting the command /zerk mode 1 into the Mq2Rez plugin. Neither seems to work. Any suggestions?

Ohhhhh! No wonder! LOL I was running KISS prior to starting both the Rogue and the Zerker. I am guessing then that you designed the Rogue the same way. /nods. I already camped them for the night and started the bazaar mules. I will run it tomorrow and see - that makes so much more sense.

/zerk mode 0
is manual mode, /zerk mode 1 is assist mode.
A couple of patches ago I had added code to end all navigation and stick commands when you die, if while dead you /zerk mode 0 prior to taking a rez then you shouldn't return back to a camp. The issue appears when you get dragged away from camp that was set.

If that still fails, I could try adding in more logic for camps definition. But if I can avoid adding redundant code then I'd prefer to avoid it.

chat Thanks just changed the Mq2Rez command to /zerk mode 0 will see what happens.

The MQ2Rez doesn't work every time. Have had it work 1 out of 3 today for putting the zerker in mode 0 so she doesn't run back to the place she died.
