MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

so a little confused by this. I run the plugin in manual mode by default and just use a blank kiss mac for general returntocamp and assist and switch functions when I setup in a particular spot or whatever. In order for the plugin to assist, I assumed that the group main assist needed to be set. So if I am running the tank killing a mob and need to stop attacking on the dps, you're saying send the zerkers an eqbc //keypress esc
That would clear there targets, would they re-assist since the tank is going to still target the mob? If not then that would work, I can then have them re-assist etc.

Hey everyone, just your friendly reminder to download a new copy of MQ2BerZerker EVERY TIME MQ2 Updates. If you run the updater, you need to download a new copy.

@Hobojedi I can't reply to your reply to my review, because its a review and not in the discussion thread.

MQ2Berzerker uses mq2nav, so you'll want to get meshes for mq2nav --- Linkies there for you to check it out with a video on how to use it

@kaen01 has a resource >>> HERE <<< for some meshes - make sure to read the instructions for the download, specifically this part
You can download the entire folder by stepping back by selecting kaen01 in t he treeview, and then hover over the folder and click the checkmark then up top a download arrow will appear that downloads the entire folder as a zip to your hard drive.

i have a issue with my zerker he isnt using dissent rage he still using dico rage ? how do i fix this
mq2berzerker has logic to determine which is your best option to use

Currently there is a bug in eq that rank 1 of dissident doesn't actually do anything, so until you do prog to get rank 2, you will still use any lvl of dicho

so my zerker is freshly 110 and basicly heroic aa's and fully meratas geared with tier 3 weapon and he is averageing 220k dps : (
what am i doing wrong need more aa ?

My Max AA zerks at 105 with TBM gear are doing more than that so I would assume AA is the key!

also battle leep is off and constantly casting when up , its a passive ability that needs to be recast on zoning not chain casted how do i make it stop battle leeping ?

it will use it to help get back to the mob if frenzied resolve is up

yeah AA will make a ton of difference and your Hdex - augs are very important, a couple hundred HDex is a large amount of dps, don;t skimp on that, work those augs as soon as you can ...

Hey there, first off, awesome Mac. I am having a little bit of a problem, I can't get my Zerk to change targets. In Fight Fire - Zerk Mode Assist. When the Mobs go Invul - I switch targets on my tank and call the switch through bca, but my Zerk stays on the Invul Mob. Is this meant to be? Is it something I am doing wrong?

In most of the situations that a berzerker would find themselves, the tank switching targets isn't meant for the berzerker to also switch targets, and may be momentary for the MA to get aggro in the event there is no AoE aggro available, or in cases where the MA isn't actually the tank which is also common. Once the berzerker turns on attack they are no longer trying to obtain the MA's target, one has been selected and the berzerker is trying to mow the targets down until they are no longer among the living....or the undead for that matter.

So yes, this was intentional.
For special events, you may try using manual mode in conjunction with a macro to select targets and initiate attacking. IE: Allow KA to handle target and assisting and turning on and off attack with MQ2BerZerker in manual mode.

It's hard to account for all possible situations when creating a plugin and the assist logic, while complicated in code, is likely considered "simple" as it won't keep track of what the tank is targeting once attack has been turned on.

Example situation.

Pull arrives at camp.
Tank Engages
Once mob reaching required health, berzerker engages.
For some reason MA changes targets mid fight.
Berzerker keeps fighting the same mob with no regard for the change of targets made by the MA.

Different example.

Pull arrives at camp.
Tank Engages
Tank switches targets, the mob they were targeting not reaching the required HP to have berzerker engage.
Berzerker's continue to wait for a target.
Tank bangs on mob until required health is reached.
Berzerkers engage the MA's target.
MA spastically changes targets again.
Berzerkers continue banging on target two, again ignoring the MA's change of targets.

I hope this is helpful information to your plight.

is there a way to turn off certain skills or abilities?

HERE is the page for commands

Code:
[/zerk]
/zerk help - shows the help menu
/zerk reload - updates the skills/abilities/discs, updates clickies from the INI etc.
/zerk ShowSettings - Will output all the settings and their current values (IE: On/Off/true/false/their number value.
/zerk BurnNow - will force a burn.

/zerk mode - Manual|Assist|Chase 0|1|2
Manual Mode - does downtime things when attack is off and you're not invis or moving. IE: Clickies/Endurance Regen/Summon Axes
Assist - Set a camp at your current location and engage any mobs within CampRadius whos health is under AssistAt value and is currently the MA's target. Will return to camp if nothing is on XTarget
Chase - Follows the group Main Assist around and helps them in combat similiar to Assist, but while moving.

/zerk AutoAssistAt ## - Sets the autoassistat value to the number provided. If no number is provided it tells you what the current value is.
/zerk CampRadius ## - Sets the campradius to the value provided. If no value is provided it outputs the current value.
/zerk UseAoE true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets UseAoE to the provided value.
/zerk AOECount ## - Use AoE at or above this number of mobs on XTarget
/zerk BurnCount ## - Uses Burn at or above this number of mobs on XTarget
/zerk BurnAllNamed on/off/true/false/0/1 - Sets using BurnAllNamed to the provided value.
/zerk BurnAlways on/off/true/false/0/1 - Sets if you should always burn if a burn is up.
/zerk ForceAlliance true/false/on/off/0/1 - Force the plugin to use the berzerekr's allianace
/zerk UseFrenzied true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you should use Frenzied Resolve or not.
/zerk UseAlliance true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you should use Alliance or not.
/zerk UseIntimidate true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you should use Intimidate or not.
/zerk UseBattleLeap true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you should use Battle Leap or not.

For clickies, pick up the item you want to add and have the item on your cursor and do the following.
/zerk AddClicky Downtime/Defensive/Offensive/Burn/Summon [If it's summon, how many you want to keep on you]
/zerk RemoveClicky Downtime/Defensive/Offensive/Burn/Summon

DPS meter has stopped working as of yesterday. The error says "Was a timing error, skipping DPS meter." Any clues on how to fix?

So, as most have said this thing is great at what it does. Before chat's plugins I leaned on casters because I felt without super gear and a ton of adps support they would be better. Well now I feel it's time to dust off some of the melee who have been sitting on the bench because just adding the berserker to my caster centric group is already amazing, I can only imagine how much better it would be with actual support.

A little context for the following parse:
1) All char only have up to RoS
2) All char except zerker are max AA for RoS
3) All char except zerker are 110
4) All casters are in full conflagrant on silver accounts
5) Sk is in full battleworn/GMM and is played manually (FV for those who ask how I have TBL gear on a RoS account)
6) Zerker is 108, Max DPS AA for 108 RoS, 8/8 Scale Touched, Random EoK+ group non-vis, Scar (EoK Raid) weap
7) All Char+Pets buffed with chanter and shaman buffs, sk and zerk have 17% Overhaste
8) Group Makeup: Sk - Zerk - Clr - Mage - Wiz - Chanter

Sorry for my parser not combining the pets with their owners, but as you can see the zerker is crushing it, even in a situation where everyone but him is getting pretty nice ADPS.

Amazing plugin! Good work. is there a way to be in auto assist without chase and without camp. for constant travel mode but dont want the zerker following but rather i keep using come to me for the whole team. any info greatly appreciated

I use /zerk mode manual

If you update mq2, also update mq2berzerker at the same time. If you update mq2berzerker, also update MQ2 at the same time (first or it will just delete the file more than likely)

Other than there I'm unaware of that issue.

Yea, your absolutely correct, I thought i had run the Updater when i rebooted but I was mistaken. Just had to update both works perfect again . My mistake

Hey guys, MAn I love this!! have a question for those using it as they raid. Is there a way to "pause" it so you can save some of your discs for the named and not the minnis?

if i want my zerker to "pause" I just /bct zerkername //zerk mode 0 --- since it goes in manual mode, if its not forced to attack it will chill --- when i want them to go ham again i just /bct zerkername //zerk mode 1

Was using KA before worked really good. Started today trying out the MQ2 Berzerker. Manual mode is a pain. I tried using mode chase and assists but keeps telling me it requires a mesh for the zone I’m in and defaults back to manual.

I was doing some progression the other day and trying to juggle /chase, /assist and /manual as we made our way through the dungeon - frustrating to say the least. We accomplished our task and I succored everyone out. Zerks took off running to the last spot we were before succor. Guess I forgot to change from /assist to /manual.
Got tired of that and made a couple of KA ini's with buffs and dps set to 0. Set them to /zerk mode manual and now they behave just like other toons, attacking what I attack. /chaseon, /chaseoff, /stick and /camphere all work the same as other toons so no more fiddling with a bunch of extra hot keys.

Smooth and easy.

Yes, this plugin requires MQ2Nav, your mq2 experience will be drastically improve in all aspects of mq2 if you use MQ2NAV - from things like this plugin or mq2rogue, easyfind, pulling using various macros, etc. All utilize MQ2Nav.

The flexibility is nice, some people enjoy the way they like to do things and have trouble doing it another way.

For me, I like pulling to a spot and then crawling, so I utilize camphere on and off for most of my dudes, and do zerk mode 0 / 1 for my 2 zerkers. I do this to ensure I never have my cleric LoS from me, or my mezzes missing etc.

I had MQ2Nav checked at start up is there something I need to do in game for it to work?
