just come back of vacation to find this thread, sounds interesting. So will be giving it a try over the next few days. looking forward to it.
 
@deathlock I had the zerker epic issue one time, but it stopped at the end of that fight. The item is probably just reporting that it's ready when it's not. Recast time on the epic is 3 minutes. Once it's ready again that should stop and not do it again. Let know if that issue persist.
 
It appears that the Zerker Epic ornamentation causes the /useitem command to try and use the ornamentation instead of the actual epic. For those who's Epics are spamming that it's trying to use it, but failing, put your ornamentation in the bank and it should sort your issue as per my convo with @wackawacka who both presented me with the issue and worked out a solution in the same conversation. The fix will be to encase the call with quotes, but that will jack with the logic a bit so I need to add some additional logic to account for it.

Those that are experiencing a crash in this current build at login or when the plugin loads and there is no group, or the last group member leaves the group etc, there was a problem with the routine that counted the number of Berserkers in the group and that has been corrected.

Intimidation was added to the DPS routine.
Conditioned Retaliation was added.

Added more Combat Abilities for timer 4 (Primary burn disc) to include the missing ones.

The plugin now automatically detects the text "You have learned a new combat ability!" and will automatically update the list of discs to the new version of the disc, or upgrade to the new disc if it's "better" than the one you had previously and let you know what it was.

Frenzy and Intimidation now have range checks so it doesn't get stuck trying to use those abilities when you're not in range, which allows your berserker to do other abilities, such as Combat Abilities with a longer range on them.

Shared XXX line now makes sure there is a TargetOfTarget. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but apparently banging on training dummies is desired. Training dummies don't target you or anyone else, which means I need to make sure there's a TargetOfTarget.

Added Drawn to Blood abilities if you're currently effected by the active disc frenzied resolve so that your character should be drawn to the mob so it can cave it's face in.

corrections were made to correct spamming of active discs, typically it was happening when the current disc wasn't considered the "Best available" and needed to be "/stopdisc"'d so that you could fire the better one. Now verifies there isn't still an active disc after the /stopdisc is issued before using the ability.

I'm sure there's other things in the routine that have been cleaned up a little bit, but I either don't remember what they were or they weren't really significant enough to mention in the first place.

These changes are NOT part of the current public build. But what to expect in the future if you decide this is the plugin for you.

I've settled on the type of pricing. It is to be an annual fee.

If you experience any issues with the plugin not related to the things mentioned above, please feel free to post the issue here on the forums or send me a private message on discord.
 
@ChatWithThisName do you want the feedback here or in a pm? never mind don't think it is an issue with just this plugin. I have been having issues with all of my background account to crash.

Okay, people keep trying to throw their money at me. So I've just got the latest build compiled by Redbot for me and have posted it to the overview page and setup the option to purchase the 1 year license to use the plugin for those that want access.
Understand that I consider this an unfinished project with plenty more things to be done to it. Additionally, feedback can be either on the forums or in PM. Though if you're looking for a response chances are the PM on discord will be the fastest method to get my attention.

Perhaps people expected a really high price for this, but I've settled on $20 a year per person. The version on post 25 is still available to everyone for free, the updated copy which reflects the changes listed above comes with the license you purchase and is available from the link made available after purchase to "Download" in the top right corner.

That was the plan. I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination and I've been struggling to get enough dough together to get all my toons TBL. Redbot bought me 1 copy for my main account which was used to facilitate research into messages dealing with lucky hits. I then purchased a copy last month for my tank, and yesterday 3 more copies. So one still left. All that just to say that $40 is a lot of money to some users. While there are others out there who have plenty of money, there's no reason to only plan for them to purchase it. Someone PM'd me their opinion on the matter, which was that they'd be willing to pay a "high price" to pay once, but the idea is to cater to all members of Redguides in a way that both compensates me for my time and allows anyone who wants to use it an opportunity at access. I'm not trying to get rich, just pay the bills and convince my wife that the time spent in my office is a good thing ;)

lol, this was precisely how I convinced my wife that my time in game was worthwhile ... by selling EoK chase items. It was about the ONLY way to convince her lol.
 
Keeps crashing on me every time the zerker engages a mob. bummer
 
You 106 missing Dichotomic Rage? If so the easy way to sort it is to grab the tome from Tranquility until I can get redbot to compile the fix.
 
Having a issue with a level 105 Berzerker, - no mq2melee loaded, mq2cast is loaded, using with my own kiss Ber ini with DPS off, or the one provided.
With the plugin running it only casts intimidation and frenzy... nothing else..
This is on the payed version, cheers!

I am also having this same issue, the one that came with the test compile would use more abilities but would kick the character off after engaging every ability. The paid version only does intimidation and frenzy

edit - i apparently cannot upload the berserker dump file that came with it kicking me off, if you like I can send it to you though

I'm going to try and get an update pushed today. Going to get with redbot about compiling so I can avoid getting dumps for known issues. Thank you for your patience while we sort though the issues.

Sadly it's usually a really easy fix and I'll have it sorted in seconds, but can't do live builds here and we'll just have to wait till we can get new compile to post. Sorry for the inconvenience.
 
tried running the free version on two zerkers today, a lvl 85 heroic and a lvl 104 heroic. it crashes on the 104 zerker every time but runs great on the lvl85. exact same ini files. any ideas?
 
Great news everyone (paying customers anyway lol) Released the new build. Sorry for the delay. The download link now has the build with corrections in it for the crash associated with having War Cry of the Braxi but no Dicho. William12 reported an issue with Alliance, I have troubleshooting to do, but force alliance works for now. New options were added to the /zerk list of options. New INI values which shouldn't need to be modified directly, are created by those options and are changed automatically by the commands. More stuff to come. :-)

Pretty sure thats not why i was crashing. I was crashing on non zerkers for just having the plugin loaded on them. Also the zerkers that were crashing are all 110 or 105 with dicho.

I didn't crash after i got the updated one though so who knows.
 
I dont know if its because im on test but my 105 is still only using frenzy and intimidation, downloaded the plugin from the main discussion page.

yep still same issue here, and on test.. i am trolling through disc's .. looking for anything i might have missed.

*edit*all im getting with that one is intimidation. seems the other one was doing better than that one, thats with a complete MQ2 reload and character relogging

Okay, fresh off the printing press, sorry about the mixup, I built it and didn't go in game to check, apparently I build with the wrong MQ2 test build, so that's my fault.

I'm using the correctly dated one this time and the download should now work as I've tested the build prior to posting it this time. Previous post will have the upload removed.

Thanks for the patience from you both @Akatora and @Brandash sorry for the issues. Please do always lead with you're on test, it's assumed you're on live unless otherwise mentioned.
 
so, I bought a copy but have never used a plugin. Any help out there on step plan to get this working?
 
On the overview page click the download button in top right corner. Save it to a location you can find it, or Open the macroquest folder where your other .dll's are located. and drop it in there, then

It should then load all the Discs you have available and do some other checks for you.
then in game you can type /zerk to see a list of commands.

That's if you plan to use KissAssist with the plugin. You put that file in the macros folder and rename it to KissAssist_YourCharactersName.ini
You can rename a file by right clicking on it and selecting rename


if you just plan to play your toon without using KissAssist you wouldn't have to worry with it.
 
Due to crashes that have been known and fixed in the original free copy from post #25, it has been updated to the current build to allow people an opportunity to properly test it free of those crashes. This build is the same as the one available from the download link after purchase, but will only be valid until the up coming patch for the anniversary. I do have the symbols for this and if you get a dump file please do send it to me via discord, or zip it up and message it to me. You'll not want to post it openly in the discussion thread.

you just setup kissassist to assist whoever is your main tank or puller, and let the mq2berzerker plugin do its thing, you just use kiss to assist, thats it
 
ok, pasted in the release folder and see the MQ2BERSERKER.dll file there.

TYPE IN : /plugin mq2berserker> enter
Reads: PLUGIN 'mq2berserker' could not be loaded

Any ideas??
