sure no problem swoodsy, thanks for letting me know

you can either a: click the "CWTN" logo in the plugin settings window or just /brd pause on to pause --- and then click the "Paused" to unpause or /brd pause off to unpause

Ok, I'm fucking sold! YaY! This has been A LOT of learning for me moving from KA for the bard, which has been a good thing as I am forgetful.


The question- When can we buy it? LOL I don't wanna log in one day and it not be working. So I'd like to get a head and make sure my CC is on file~

Well announce ahead of time (several times), it usually ends up available for purchase a week or two before a live update, but we try and announce it before.
 
Love it so far, what do you think of a melee on and off key? for mission / group / grind exp groups / Puller assist / ext ext content that bard supports but wont chase melee. but maybe it has it already and i missed it?

Sorry, ADHD brain. I read this earlier while working but forgot about it till now. This is specifically happening on Mischief though and we don't have Insult T6 unlocked yet, we only have the push variant. But we're in the level range where we should because it comes out CotF. Probably has something to do with it, idk.

this would only be possible if you weren't updated - I fixed this on Sep 19th

I dunno why it isn't posted in bard updates, but that updated code is the code that has been built on the 8+ builds since then :p

so you should check you're running the latest

No. It won't have a melee off. You can manage your camp/assist at.

But no, intentionally does not have a toggle for melee usage (same as other melee classes)
 
I am under the impression that when you pause it stops songs similar to twist off, so you only need to do "/brd pause on" instead of the multiple lines previously.

I have found one case where this doesn't work. I moved to Laurion's Inn to test it.

The spell gems are still dimmed, and I can see the buff refresh every few seconds while paused. This happens after War March of Nokk Rk. II.

If I pause after Aria of Tenisbre Rk. III, all songs/buffs disappear, even though the spell gems are still dim.

I used the icon on the UI to pause and unpause.

Check the top of page 5 and below that =). Similiar conversation it seems.

yep, but as you can see, mq2bard isn't *doing anything* it isn't casting any songs or doing anything, it is allowing the persistent pulses as you would expect from eq because of how eq works

If you are using a "Pause" hotkey, you could add something like this. Seems to work so far.

I had redownloaded it a few days ago and thought I had replaced the file, but I guess I hadn't. My bad.
 
They are not wrong. There is a dedicated bit of software specifically designed to update all the things and put those things where they belong. Why are you choosing not to use the launcher?

I noticed my bard is not mezed at all in combat. Tried my best to look into it so I had more than "Bard Broke" when posting.

On normal servers, the lv 110 single and aoe mez can hit up to 113. On Vaniki the spell is raised up to 123. Is it possible to get a toggle for level check or write in an exception for this server?

unfortunately that is an MQ/EQ thing, when MQ/EQ tells us something, we believe it.

Thanks for the info and for bumping the issue thread. I can live with a macro from my driver to cast aoe mez.
 
When im using Puller Tank mode, he will not "med at min endurance" when set? GroupWatch: self only

I have a 125 bard on casterdots mode with BYOS on and its just endlessly twisting War Chorus of the Blood beast. What am i doin here?

Would also request it prioritize dots during combat in casterdots and meleedot and twist the other spells between combat. it loses a ton of priority recycling combat songs over and over again and the mob is dead before it gets to dot.

Figured out the problem, its cause i had 2 bards in the group and Nokk isnt getting overwritten. so it just keeps doing bloodbeast.

the priority is specifically how it is, and is unlikely to change.

also makes me wonder about how something that is on the rest of the group full time is less efficient than a dot, which might not even get a tick off by the time the mob is dead. so again, no to that, sorry.

There are a lot of considerations on the importance of a and b and where c, d, and e fit into that, it isn't just willy nilly.
