You can now run update in the launcher again to fix.

- MQ2XAssist (drwhomphd, brainiac) two new TLO's: XTFullHaterCount and XTAggroCount. These provide alternatives to the core MQ2 TLOs for XTargets XTHaterCount and XTAggroCount.
XTFullHaterCount returns all auto haters including the one that is being targeted. XTXAggroCount allows the aggro range to be expanded to 1000 for situations where someone
wants to check the >=100 aggro values. The original XTAggroCount TLO only allows for 1-99.
- MQ2DPSAdv (Knightly)...

"Absolutely No Automated/Unintended Game-play, any incident of automated gameplay is immediate suspension, second offence is ban including Aradune associated accounts."

Does this mean no MQ2 for Aradune or Rizlona?

MQ2 has been confirmed as acceptable on Rizlona.

They use very confusing language - by "automated gameplay" they are usually referring to afk/unattended - and by unintended they mean warping and active hacks

Cool. I really wasn't wanting pop locked servers, but it should still be fun.

Acceptable to ....? DPG?
yes. Dreamweaver was talking about it on the official discord today

Unfortunately they are wishy/washy with their verbage they use for what is acceptable and what isn't - they use "automation" a lot - which sounds like any automation, but when i spoke with Holly she used the word automation to mean unattended automation and not "supplimental mercenary style gameplay"

Hopefully, they make some very clearly stated answers on what they're talking about --- I'm not so confident that will happen. There still seems to be an extremely disjointed gap between CS and Dev side with regards to MQ2, and I'm not confident in any way shape or form about their ability to appropriately do what they say - specifically with enforcement.

Something that was brought up several times in the focus group and in one on one discussions was the instances of false-positives that happen which are absolutely unacceptable - basically you're at the whim of some under paid, under informed, under appreciated CS who's job is just easier to smash that ban button

Very Vanilla will likely work on Rizlona. No promises yet.
Yeah, i think as with anything DBG related its best to cross your fingers and see what ends up happening. I do know that the intention from the start was to have a box and specifically mq2 friendly tlp server, but find ways to make it successful and not a RMT/AFK/CS-Nightmare cesspool.

Lotta folks are pretty upset about various parts of the announced tlps - so only time will tell what the final result will be, imo.

I hope you are right and they change things.

Coming back to using after a few years. I installed launcher and ran mq2. Eq dies after selecting server with the following error. I have tried all on the troubleshooting reccomendations and also have reinstalled both the launcher and everquest fully.

Nothing in here that I can do anything with (cause noob) - @eqmule or one of the other mq2 devs would need to do their magic

Tho it is interesting about the protected admin thing - I haven't seen that before

Not like you have any crazy amount of plugins loaded (tho if you don't use mq2exchange, might want to unload that)

can you provide some context on what is happening. you just launch the game and once you hit server select you crash? you're trying to connect to a regular "non-truebox" server, correct? as mq2 won't run on a truebox server.
All the regular stuff - being patched both eq and very vanilla (tho i can see you patched VV today)?

- Me.Invis now takes an optional index or a name to return invis vs undead and animals
Example 1: /echo ${Me.Invis} just return the normal one like before, are u invis of any kind.
Example 2: /echo ${Me.Invis[ANY]} or just ${Me.Invis[0]} returns true if you are invis of any kind, same as just doing ${Me.Invis}
Example 3: /echo ${Me.Invis[NORMAL]} or just ${Me.Invis[1]} returns true if you are normal invis.
Example 4: /echo ${Me.Invis[UNDEAD]} or just ${Me.Invis[2]} returns true if you are invis vs undead
Example 5: /echo ${Me.Invis[ANIMAL]} or just ${Me.Invis[3]} returns true if you are invis vs animal

Does not seem to work, all of them returns TRUE. e.g normal invis and 1 2 3 returns TRUE.

Anyone seen where one char gets dropped from a task after a period of time of doing tasks. I have to manually taskadd and once it starts dropping it keeps dropping the same toon every time until i restart everything? By same toon I mean that i will get task and just before entering it drops a toon, same toon until I reboot RG. Then it might drop a different toon in the group the next time and always that toon and around it goes.
I always get an error of "IOTheftEssence expires" then the task drops. I have to wait for a few minutes to /taskadd the toon back in.

As far as crashes at server select go - I know I've ran into a crash bug before where I played a bit on Mangler (no MQ stuff loaded at all), logged out completely to desktop, then loaded MQ and used the login feature to tell it to load a character that was on a regular server. It opened an instance, logged in, hit server select, and would promptly crash over and over. I eventually figured out that I should always log out of Mangler to server select, log into a character on a regular server (still without MQ loaded), then camp back out again so that my 'last used server' was a normal one before attempting to load MQ.

I cannot use the program after the retarded ass long downtime. i now have a date/time issue and it wont load. there is also some time/date problem and i cannot fix it. it wont go to the directory as well and i cant even find it. tried to reload it and re download it and restart my comp about 600 times and i cant get anwhere.

The new compile is not up yet so you will keep getting that error until you update to the newest version. That version has not been published as of yet...

*edited to add the word NOT...lol there is too much blood in my coffee system atm.

The new compile will be ready when its ready. Eqmule never holds out on the release. daybreak and their amazing patch efforts of failure kept alot of people awake all night. usually takes 3-8 hours after servers go live from a patch for a verison to be avalible. you want early release version send a donation to the devs of RG and your wish will be granted. The cluster fuck of a patch last night probably is a cluster fuck to the mq2 scripts that mule is going to fix to get it ready.

- New Plugin! MQ2React (drwhomphd) Allows users to define actions, as well as conditions that will perform those actions. Think of it like the holyshit/downshit part of
mq2melee, without the melee. MQ2React also allows for complex conditions to be defined as global conditions and reused throughout multiple reacts, thus making reacts
considerably easier to maintain and reuse.
- CWTN plugins (ChatWithThisName, Sic) updated. Named Spawn checks improved, and several...

Everquest had repeated patches over the past couple of days, and unfortunately updated the .exe again today - so the mq2 devs will have to re-do the work they already did :( hopefully we'll be back in action soon
