Release Guild Buff Assistant (1 Viewer) 2.0

No permission to download
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be working on updating this macro for LS. After talking w/ Medic. I'm helping him out. I've already updated the ports to LI and added the events and sub routines. I will be working on the buffs during the course of the next few days. Since I don't have buffers (except for a shaman) this is going to be a new go for me. Last one I updated for, I had buffers to work and test with. So if anyone wants to help me test out other classes. Please let me know!

Shaman is almost working, soon as I have some of these kinks worked out. It should be easy to add the other classes. I will publish as they become available.

I'd be happy to run a test on all buffs/ports sans Ranger. Still need to make and level one up, but I have all the others. Let me know how I can help here or via PM

Thanks to anyone out that for lending a
Sorry, I ended up getting pretty sick this weekend. So this is delayed by a few days.
Dont' sweat it brother ...I appreciate your help. I don't want to overlap anything you are doing so take your time and you get to it when you get to it. Thanks for everything.

Same whenever you have something for me to test I am ready..... I am always playing and can test...

i would love to test them for you as well as i do use this and was waiting for someone to update stuff.. the wizard just sits and does not cast buffs it stands and sits
the other thing is can you make the necro send invites apon hail so we can have it join group and then you can have it leave group after it casts summon this way it can use the AA to summon corpse's and then it will drop group ready for the next person

i have all the 10 as well but not all are up to LS yet as im working on getting 5 done

at the moment i have it set for autogroup and have everyone make a hotkey i made to make this all happen but i have to add everyone single to the list and it only holds like 50-100 people

I am unsure of what you are talking about my friend. I am not really that strong of a coder. I kind of learned on the fly by looking at what someone else did and then adapt it to what I wanted to do. So, I have no idea how to do any of those things you are speaking of. I'm sorry!

Not sure what you mean here, this macro doesn't do anything natively to autogroup.

I just want the buffing to work for 125 lv toons, the classes that need invites for some spells I am not so worried about. The macro works great for 120. You hail it buffs once. The only downside is when a player walks away before they are done and bug them out. I fixed that thou with a lem to reset the buffers if any one says a code phrase. So you do not have to wait on the player running them to reset them. The Lua version has soooo many problems and very happy the macro version is getting some loving. Is there a new version for me to test yet? Be happy to run it through the ringer and provide feedback....

I'm slowly working on it. Work has had me at 70 hours+ in the last week. My life has been being sick and work and on occasion getting the group to grind.

I hope you get some time off and rest up to recover quickly so you can enjoy gaming....

I have completely tested this and use this version. I have no problems at all this with this version. It does exactly what I want it to do. Unlike the older macro and the buggy Lua version. If you have not tried this version I would change over and you will much happier. I do not have to explain why a buff and or toy is not casted or why the toon spam casts a buff over and over. I do not want to kill most guildies now!!!!!!

Bah you triggered and update and messed up all my buffers.... I have to retrain the player that runs my buffers again....Medicman your version does not work....Monkey's does....Unwatched so this does not happen again...

I am cleaning up a little more code, getting the Beastlord updates done for this expansion and adding the new ports to the Druid and Wizard code. I don't know a lot of people that use it but it will be updated anyway. Should be releasing Ver. 2.0 in the next couple of days. I am sorry for taking so long to get this done. I will do better in the future as long as my health cooperates.

The newest update is not working for the shaman, cleric, and chanter. It doesn't give any error or anything. I hail the person and it just sits there, doing nothing. I tested it with somebody tagged in the same guild and it worked, so I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere in this that only allows it to work with people who are in the same guild. Is there a way to change this or not?

EDIT: Was able to comment out the section where it looks for guild only members. Worked on my shaman now, just didn't cast Spirit of Tal'lak or whatever its called for the speed + small atk buff.

Did you get it fixed? I looked at the posted version and tested it with the toons you're having issues with and I am not having the same issues.

I have not as of yet. I'm out of town for the 4th so won't be able to really check it out. I got the macro working, I was trying to set it up to work with people outside the guild, but I was able to comment that issue out and it started working. I'll try again on the shaman and see what all he casts, but he didn't do any speed buff the last time I tried.

Hey @Medicman,

I was using this today and noticed that my 125 mage is not summoning heirlooms with the rest of the toys.

After seeing your June 12 update above, I deleted the BuffBot.mac file and the .ini files from the config folder, then did a fresh install from the launcher.

I attached a screenshot showing errors generated when starting BuffBot.mac and immediately requesting toys.

[Here is the relevant parts of her .ini

I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Can you assist ?

Edit to add: She summons the Mask, and folded armor and weapons containers, just not the heirlooms

it appears to be setup to use eqbc, but you don't have eqbc loaded / connected to eqbcs
This is a true statement. I have been using dannet for pretty much everything.

I'm curious why that would only affect the Heirlooms though?

Everything else seems to work fine.

I don't know, speculation would suggest bad copy paste - but it means that section is using eqbc and not dannet, or otherwise agnostic broadcasting function

I noticed on the overview tab that MQ2EQBC is listed as optional, and everything had been working, so I hadn't messed with it.

I just happened to notice the heirlooms issue and saw that @Medicman had posted an update (Jun 12 Update) on this very issue, so I thought I'd post to mention it.

  1. Fixed typo causing Mage to not cast Heirlooms when requesting "toys"

It's not a huge deal at all (and probably not worth setting up EQBC to solve).

Thanks for your time...
