How would I specify Dead Man Floating for my necro it keeps trying to buy potions even if I edit the ini and put Dead Man Floating as the levi clicky?
Drop "Perfected" from "Perfected Dead Man Floating" on the line you quoted, and from DeneCore-Utils.inc, line 70. That SHOULD do it. (Again, I'm travelling, so don't have everything in front of me. Sorry.)

Started this last night on two toons one starting at the beginning with /mac explore and the other starting at CotF working backwards. The only issue I hit so far was in leaving Neriak after getting all of the city zones my character was in a loop of Neriak/Nektulos/Neriak/etc. Had to spam the pause hotkey in order to break the loop, moved to commons manually then unpaused and it worked fine. I only ran this on both characters for about an hour or two so if I run in to any more issues I will update this post.

One suggestion I would have is to update the requirements section in the body of the overview to show Denecore being required. I realized after it shows it up top in the system requirements section in the title but there is no mention of it under the instructions section or in the Overview. I spent a decent bit thinking this didn't work for MQNext before finding that I needed Denecore as well then it worked fine.
 
Unless someone ninja edited the overview page, under requirements, Denecore is the second item.

I am sorry that I'm not incredibly familiar with the forums. I spent a few hours searching and couldn't find a resolution so I'm posting here and you guys can just tell me to shove it if this is already posted and I will continue to search.

I started explore.mac on my rogue today and, although all the required plugins are active, he will not move at all. He is bound in lobby, has the brownie illusion, shroud of stealth, and is level 120, he will not move. The macro echoes the destination [Explorer] Heading to The Plane of Knowledge [Explorer] Let's get dangerous!, but then nothing. I can /travel poknowledge and go there, and it will say the same for Steamfont until I ctrl+click the zone in the find window, echoes heading to Ak'Anon, then sits in place. If I manually zone in, it says heading back to Ak'Anon but I have to zone manually. Then it paths to the succor point and holds in place.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Is the xtended target list clear? Set them all to auto.
 
getting stuck in paineel warrens loop how do i get past this
Hit the pause button as outline in the instructions, move towards the correct destination and unpause. This has worked for me whenever I get stuck.

I just ended up pausing the macro, running to the next zone and then resumed it /shrug - just curious what it would take to correct this and the other issues I am reading about without having to install other meshes? is that not possible?

There are different meshes to be used.
 
When i try to use the explore mac, I get the following

c\Users\myname\AppData\Local\VeryVanilla\MacroQuest\Release\Macros\explore

When I look in my release folder, subfolder macros, I do not see any mac that even starts with the letter E.
What could be wrong and what could I try?

Try putting the explore.mac in that folder

from another post, the macro is "explore.mac" not "explorer.mac"

in that case try running /mac explore

Can you screenshot the error. Never heard of DeneCor.

You might want to move your macroquest folder to your C:\MacroQuest and update your path settings to use that. Are you using the new version of MQNext?

Thx Mad Scientist. I reextracted everyting to ensure proper folders and based upon your first response, I re-read everything in the link and saw that i had to download denecor which is required for explore.mac . . It is working now
 
Excellent stuff! One question: For some expacs i only need 1 or 2 zones as opposed to running the full gambit. Where is the 'ini' file saved (is there a specific name to look for?) and are there any commands to specify only needed zones?
 
From time to time (usually after zoning) my guy just stops running. I have the custom meshes, and I have the pause and unpause macros (they don't work to solve this). What is going wrong? Sometimes it fixes itself after a minute, other times he just sits there and if I WASD it just says "Heading to <zone>" and he won't move. It's like he's rooted.
 
Was curious if we could get this working on Test again? I actually see no reason why it would have been removed. would be much appreciated to the authors of this macro to make it so. again thank you. And yes I am a paid member but I do not play on Live servers and I feel as though my subscription is unfair since I only had maybe 1 months use out of it.

Test was never explicitly supported because I didn't play on it. That said, I see no reason why it would work on Live but not Test. What's the issue on Test?

it just will not execute the once you type /mac explore , I have tried this on all my toons and accts on Test. I loved using for the 1 month I had use of it. It pretty much stopped working after the patch that had us down due to the new ui

What does it do? Is there error output? There's nothing that I can think of in the macro that'd prevent it from running on Test. I don't make a check of any sort...

so I just deleted Denecor from the macros folder and reinstalled it and now is working. dunno why it is working now and not before the deletion is a concern for me.
 
Sorry you encountered an issue, but without error messages / logging, and the system no longer able to reproduce the issue, there's not really much for me to go on. So, glad it's working now. If you have issues in the future, just post here or PM me.
 
explorer fortunately (in this case) never used easyfind used zonelines and locs and such.

hopefully not really a test vs live thing, cause that'd be poopy
Not entirely true, Sic. There's a singular use of the travelto command provided by EasyFind in a tertiary else clause on line 995 of DeneCore-Nav.inc. It doesn't fall to that clause often (it's an ohshit catch if somethings gone wrong), and one use in 14K+ lines isn't bad. Approaching zero, but not quite.

EQBC does not appear to be working with this macro, character just spams the commands to drop adventure from all in the adventure.
Finally, I wish there was a way to tell it to ignore aggro and just keep going, especially useful in low level area and even higher level dungeons where stopping to kill isn't an option

I do not have any logs at the moment. If you will guide me through gathering them, I will provide them to you.

First, thank you for the purchase.
LDoN's weren't in the original release of this macro due to the complexity of what needed to be done. It has been a couple years now since I played EQ, but I can load up a toon and see if I can reproduce your issue. (Maybe this weekend.)
EQBC was the 'comms' system I personally used when building and testing this. Has there been changes to EQBC that would interfere? I'd think not, but State of the Game has changed considerably.
As for the aggro issues, it was a design decision. I do my best to limit the aggro by constantly invis'ing and etc, but felt there were more / more serious issues introduced with ignoring aggro as opposed to dealing with it.

For what you've described, I don't need logs, but thank you none the less.
 
I have never done ldon adventures since they came out and I think that was before achievements so I have no achievements for the zones. when I try to get the achievements for ldon I make a group with my 114 ench and 2 lvl 100 and it sits for 2 hours trying to find a mission and keeps failing. what am I doing wrong?

Are you running EQBC or Dannet on all the toons?
What zone is it in when it does this?
Are you using the meshes provided from my repo or ones provided via the meshupdater tool?
Is there output in the MQ box?
