are you trying to use eqbc? (some folks aren't, but clicked something and now it is doing a thing) --- dannet is the "default" and suggested/recommended these daysSo my accounts log in just fine, I log in using the profile but when I go to issue commands it says it can not connect to the server. I did search online but nothing I found relates to this. Any ideas?
I am. I prefer to KISS so I ran it with very little change. I should have put in that it was working fine last night. I camped to desktop, logged in today and i've got this issue.are you trying to use eqbc? do you have eqbcS (eqbc SERVER) running?
did you connect and set autoconnect?
/bccmd connect 127.0.0.1 2112
/bccmd set autoconnect on
is eqbc allowed on your firewall / windows permission?

Sorry, I mean K.I.S.S not KISSassist. I realized after I typed that that that probably wasn't the best acronym to use.kiss uses dannet (and prefers it for checking buffing) just as a means of clarification.
well something is off.
either
a: you dont have the server running paired with the plugin in game
b: you're not connected to it --- the 127.0.0.1 tells it "connect to myself" - if you're using a different ip address, ensure that the local ip address you have to connect to matches, if you were 192.168.1.104 and changed to 192.168.1.105 it wouldn't connect
c: something is preventing it from running like firewall issue or A/V

it's super easy to connect the PC's and the commands to share from PC to PC are easier imoWhat would you do with Dannet?
Yeah, I mentioned that. Seems to have been a step that was overlooked./plugin eqbc
That's specifically because the plugin isn't loaded. Please load the plugin, then try the command again. As an example when I try to bccmd to connect it says it doesn’t know the command.
Are your characters connected to eqbc `/bccmd connect`?Hi, I'm trying to launch the game from Redfetch, and I have a question. All the characters enter the game (after rewrite profiles...), but MQ2autogroup and others isn't working. I checked, and I see that /bcga isn't working. It used to work fine (see screenshot), and now I can't send commands to the other characters in the group. Any ideas? I tried the option in the MQ2 menu (at the bottom of the Windows taskbar) to activate the EQBCS server, but it didn't solve the problem. Could you tell me where I can find step-by-step instructions on how to activate Redfetch so that everything works like it did with the original version?
Thanks, and please excuse my English (I learned it in EQ).
for eqbc to work you need:Had some issues the past couple of days. Not sure if it is because I tried installing redfetch instead of the launcher or not. But EQBCS was working great and yesterday it stopped working even though it looked like it was still connected. I closed it all and restarted / reconnected a few times and eventually it started working again. But some hours later it stopped again.
The cmd window is still open and I can see characters reporting stuff in there but they don't communicate with each other.
/bccmd connect 127.0.0.1 2112
/bccmd set autoconnect on
i also have some of my various hotkeys in my signatureDoes anyone have a more complete list of commands to send to other characters? I am trying to figure out how to make my characters "assist".
Uhm. I mean i use the Very vanillia launcher etc. but i dont use the plugin or anything for him, the automation ones you pay seperatly for. If that makes more sence to what i meanif you dont use mq on the tank, then he shouldnt have the buttons..
I mainually play my tank and Auto with the MQ2SHAMAN etc the 5 alts.Uhm. I mean i use the Very vanillia launcher etc. but i dont use the plugin or anything for him, the automation ones you pay seperatly for. If that makes more sence to what i mean
Yes yes and yes. i Was refering to the Lua mq2Shadowknight i am not running nor own, but mq is loaded on the pc.Is Macroquest actually loaded on the tank?
If you're running mq on that machine, then you should be unless you unload MQ.
Are you running eqbcs? This is the server that sends and receives the data sent from /bc commands.
Additionally, is mq2eqbc loaded?
What happens when you type in `/bccmd connect`?Yes yes and yes. i Was refering to the lua mq2Shadowknight i am not running nor own, but mq is loaded on the pc.

Those buttons are defaulted to dannetHello! ive been using mq2/redguides for awhile now and have yet to be able to get eqbc to work, really just want the mimic me feature to be used so i dont have to tab through for quest /says. The command window is open, and the plug in is turned on. But if i hit any of the 3 buttons on my tank (i dont use mq2 on tank maybe the isssue?) for follow me/come to me/ mimic me, none of them do anything.
eqbc has an mq2eqbc.ini in your config folderAm I missing a key config or ini file for EQBC? Because afaict my config is 2 ini files, one which uses 0.0.0.0 and port 2112 (eqbcs.ini), and another which uses loopback and 2112 (MQ2EQBC.ini). And I'm pretty sure the mq2 ini was auto-configured by using the "Launch EQBCS with with MQ" checkbox on the Launcher. (maybe a few things were added by me like channels but that's about it)
