• You've discovered RedGuides 📕 an EverQuest multi-boxing community 🛡️🧙🗡️. We want you to play several EQ characters at once, come join us and say hello! 👋
  • IS THIS SITE UGLY? Change the look. To dismiss this notice, click the X --->
  • There was an optional eq update. Guest, DO NOT PATCH EQ or you'll have to wait for the next MQ update (no ETA). You can play without the patch by using patchme or autologin (preferred). If you've already patched EQ you're out of luck, unless you find someone to share the older eqgame.exe (don't ask here).

Adjusted Test Server Resource ID per RedBot
Breaking Update. Manual install required sorry.

  • Modified some cosmetic stuff, mainly the rename to RedGuides Launcher
  • Resource type changed to a straight MSI instead of zipped. This allows for proper signing that Windows doesnt complain about.
Switch back to the MSI now that we can use them
  • Added support for the Beta Server Client
  • Extended the width of the window slightly as a stop gap until I can get the resizing the way I want it.
Self updating locally is working again. Verifying from the forums resource
Self updater was deleting the MSI before it could finish running.
  • Authentication: When authenticating, the app will no longer freeze if the browser is closed without finishing the auth process. However, the app currently has to be restarted afterwards for auth to succeed. Working on this bug.
  • Plugins/Other Resources: will now sort by Last Updated Date
  • Plugins/Other Resources: Last Updated Date is now color coded. Green at or above current released version, Red there is a new version available.
  • Plugins/Other Resources: Removed refresh delay temporarily. The refresh takes about 20 seconds anyways. Will get this back in place once the refresh call is optimized
