Fix for missing Resource State value "Moderated"

  • Launcher should no longer throw an error if a Plugin on the forums is currently in a "Moderated" state

Some updates to hopefully clear up some confusion

  • Added messages to the Plugins and Macros tabs to explain why it may be empty
  • Added a note to the MQ2 folder confirmation prompt to select the existing MQ2 folder if one already exists.
  • Added Launcher version info to the bottom right hand corner of the application. If an update is available, the text "Install Launcher Update" shows and is clickable to run the update.

Fixes from comments

  • Updated the Install/Update button on the relevant tabs to be Install/Update/Reinstall based on the current status of a given resource
  • Sorting on the Plugins and Macros pages now sorts in the following order from top to bottom
    • Installed, but not up to date
    • Not Installed
    • Installd AND up to date
  • Admin rights should no longer be required to edit files in the MQ2 directory if it was installed in the default folder as determined by the launcher (C:\ProgramData\RedGuides\DesktopUtility\MQ2\Live\Release)

Fix settings saving and crashing on button push

  • Settings the MQ2 install folder will once again save the setting properly
  • Clicking on the "Open MQ2 Folder" and "Launch MQ2" buttons will no longer crash the app if the folder or files dont yet exist.

Update live server last version label to pull the correct resource id

  • The "last installed" version on the very vanilla tab was still looking for the old resource ID in the saved installs list.

Updated for new resource ID

  • Resource ID for the MQ2 Live install package updated
  • Settings page updated to be server type specific, hopefully this will make things a little more clear
  • More work on trying to make the UI pretty in an attempt to get it ready for resizing

  • Actually fixed the coloring and sorting on the Plugins and Macros tabs.

Fixes

  • Fix the null ref in the very vanilla module when parsing the last installed date for a server type that hasnt yet been installed.
  • Only allow Update All to run on the Plugins page if the current server type selection is set to Live
  • Fix the coloring and sorting on the Plugins and Macros tabs to account for local time versus UTC time.

Release Notes integration, logging, and new default folders

  • Added a ton new logging. Some people are experiencing an errorless crash, so trying to figure out where the exception is being thrown. I havent been able to reproduce the crash locally yet.
  • Removed the constant folder verification. If a folder has been set in settings, we will assume its good.
  • Added the option to use a default folder if seleting install/update and no folder has been set in settings
  • Added an "Open MQ2 Folder" option to the VV tab.
  • Release notes now pull for VV. The control causes a lock if trying to display the entirety of the release notes (its like all the note from the beginning of time) so it is currently capped at 5000 characters. Will add a "View More...." line in the next release.
