Sat down with no real plan in mind. Originally it was going to just list all the spawns and be searchable. But Sic was like "you should make a map"...so I did.
So it's an imgui map. It addresses some immediate issues. MQ2Map showing labels causes other portions of EQ's UI to fail. Text not showing up in the chat boxes. Bags having contents appear to vanish before your eyes. etc.
I've managed to implement some things, and not implement others that I want to add. But as time goes by we can address those missing features. Such as I still have to get it to save between sessions the changes you've made. That's sure to be a lot of typing lol.
Here I've added options for the various types of spawns. Including a color picker.
The map can be panned and zoomed and offers a height filter.
Spawns show their heading by use of an elongated triangle.
the use of MQAnon will hide pcs and their pets, mercenaries, and mount names.
You can move the map outside of the EQ game window and put it full screen (manual resizing required, no magic button) on another monitor without messing with a separate program, and still reducing the space taken up on your screen.
You can right click the triangle of a spawn on the map and it'll pull up a context menu with the option to nav to the spawn.
You can hide spawns or just their labels by type.
the "Spawns" tab is another group of tabs by type of spawn where you can search for a spawn, restrict the radius, sort by level, name, spawnid, or distance.
You can also remove columns you don't want to see, like SpawnID.
It's also silky smooth running right now.
More features are planned. The layout may change. But it's been a step in the right direction.
