Request - Zerker gear guide for 110/115

Does anyone have a list of Augs and gear to top parse for zerker for 110/115 TOV. None raid of course. Thanks in advance!
 
Easiest solution is to look at eqresource.

Do aug search for HDex for type 7 and also type 5.
Do gear search for ROS, TBL or TOV depending on if you are expansion enabled or not. Select highest Hdex pieces from there.

Some people argue using 2HP others 2HB for which generates best overall dps.

personal use and personal experience i find talking about the delay rather than the damage type is more useful. for my setup i get more damage from 36 delay than i do 32 delay, so i go for the ToV 36s which are 2hb


As far as original question - I shoot for as high hdex as i can, 36 delay weapons, and the +5% accuracy type 18 aug

I used the type because for the last however many years the type has been equal with the delay.
2hp=30 delay
2hs=32 delay
2hb=36 delay

well DBG likes to mess with stuff - like the sk/pal weapons now being a different type for their class weapon.

There are also some outliers in EOK like some of the 35 delay (wtf), and in TDS there was the 2hb 30 delay raid weap, tho they seem to be more consistent in the past couple xpacs. my point was, people end up thinking it is because of blunt damage, or piercing damage rather than the delay on the weapon (efficiency being the same of course).
 
The argument for the 2HP side of the equation is basically the ratio is better when factoring the damage aug but i haven't done extensive parsing on it recently. I need to talk to a couple zerker friends that have recently.
 
Zerkers get more bang for their burning buck out of 2HB, which is why every single raiding zerker in a top 10 guild will use 2HB over anything else almost all the time.
 
with the changes to juggernaut it now scales dmg based on delay, bigger delay more dmg bonus is added which is why the 2hb burn better.

I know several that aren't currently and they are the types to have parsed the differences. Even just looking at top 10 on magelo there are 2 that are using the spear.

It looks like most of the MS zerkers are the only ones consistently going with piercing, and even that isn’t absolute (a second MS zerker near the top 10 opted for 2HB).
 
I'm not sure it's still viable, but for awhile zerkers were going 2hb on burn or certain buffs, then 2hp on white dmg non-burn cycles.

Yea, that’s still viable in groups, but on raids where you’re rolling burns and getting max adps from support classes they just maintain the 2HB.
 
Tucoh has a pretty nice guide to zerking on the EQ forums, raidloot.com can help you find hDex augs (honestly I'd just go with highest hDex and ignore hp/ac unless it points to ridiculously outdated xpacs). As far as weapons, while burning or in a proper support group then slower tends to be better as long as you have a similar ratio. Once you get out of burns or in groups without a good amount of aDPS, then I find that the faster weapon preforms better.

if you are raiding and you are engaging a single mob for an extended period of time 2hb seems the way to go
if you are doing tov grp content and you are not just moloing 2hp is ideal (good grps strive for 20s and under kills, sometimes way under)
if your healer sucks and you feel a 2hs tap is gonna keep u alive..... find a better healing solution

I am not clear if top raiding zerks go w str for heroic stat but i have switched over to Hdex since I dont raid

I know a few of the Valhallah zerks tested hStr back in like EoK and RoS, finding that hDex still outperformed in most situations.
 
Yea, I have the velium enhanced 2hb - It's the highest dmg weapon we can get - I do way more dps with it then the velium enhanced spear

Type 5 Augs - Jasper ones from ToV - Do the froststone ducants and purchase them.

Type 7 augs - Sleeper's aug, Bellas Gem, Secret dawn ones all have high dex

I'm pretty sure that 2hp can outparse in a group, assuming you aren't running rng, bst, shm, brd, and constantly rolling burns on everyone all the time. Really, the difference is going to be relatively small so it's moot.
 
It does not - I have one zerker with the 2hb and one with the 2hp - We have a bard in the group - 2hp starts out strong, then dies out by the end of fight, zerker 1 does 10mil dmg, zerker 2 7.5mil - That's kind of how it works out

Zerker 2hp will be first until about 2mil dmg mark, then the 2hb one blows past him.

Both have 3400 Hero Dex with shaman buffs.
 
Well i'd test it out - the group weapons might be different - Believe ones 612+30 delay the other one is 716+36 delay, but that dmg bonus increase due to delay ect-

My zerkers are both ranked in the top 30 zerkers on magelo

Id just test it and find out for sure
