Although -- disclaimer... my "flirt" radar is set far lower than most people's. Honest to God, I am NOT lying here. I have had two different girls that I play MMOs with, and never had met IRL, and never wanted to meet IRL, and never felt that I overtly flirted towards them... First was married, husband was in our guild as well... second was dating, bf was in our guild... then broke up, then dated another guy in our guild... then got knocked up via him, then engaged to him... so yeah, these girls were not at ALL on my radar. (Personally I find internet romance creepy, not at all interested.) So yeah.. both of these girls uninvited, sent me boob shots. Bare breasts. For my birthday. Uninvited. One in 2005, one in 2006. Sadly, in 2007, apparently I didn't compete, as I got no boobies on my birthday.
But yeah... outta the blue, fuckin "Happy birthday! Here's my tits!" And I'm like... wha??? How are you supposed to respond to that? God knows I don't mail them gold, lol. There's a third girl I haven't mentioned yet, who never showed me her titays, god knows I didn't want to see hers, but she was constantly being an overt flirt, and some sex crazed guildies just got drama-ish over who was getting her attention, and not only was it lame for her, it was lame of them, and childish by all parties involved, leaving the entire guild (and we're a more close-knit one) dealing with this fucking bullshit, and then when the dust clears, you gotta figure out who to ally with and if they can't be cordial, who gets to stay in the guild and the group and all, and it sucks.
Which is probably why I will readily admit that flirty girls are bad business for serious team-based gaming, which much of MMO gaming is. Which is why girls get the bad rap in games. 60 fat nerds can hang out. Throw in 3 chicks and they'll be at each other's throats, or affected by the dipshits who get into it, within 2 months. And it's not always the girls' faults. But in the absence of women, the men get along. In the presence of them, some sex starved bitches can't perform and it gets ugly, so the women get blamed... Fair? Not always. A fitting stereotype for the girls that cause this shit? Usually it is.

god this so showed yesterday in my old guild, this guild has a few female members a few left now the college season started so we have only 2 left (oh noes) one of the girls (mir) is a good friend of mine. Now I quit wow for a bit and returned not that long ago and what you say strikes so true,
one of the rogues in the guild just started raiding and he was like all the time: "mir mir I'm raiding giev /hug" and "mir look at me I'm raiding" another guy a warrior in our guild was the entire evening "mir mir how are you, want a hug?"
So I whispered her and I was like what is going on? "since when did you get those guys humping your leg?" She didn't know but it annoyed her greatly.
So yeah throw in a girl with a bunch of starving guys and you get annoyance.
I even turned off the guild channel cause it was like madness, they didn't attack eachother yet but it will probably happen in the next couple of weeks.

I dunno,, I used to bounce at a nudie bar up here, and every Wednesday night was ladies night. Those were the nights where we would wear cups and about 3 layers of clothes. Get a couple of those diabetic coma inducing froo-froo drinks into those women and all of a sudden you feel like a Big Mac at a fat kids camp. Any other night would be a "Meh, rough crowd tonight, bet one of us gets stabbed" whereas Wed. nights would instill bowel loosening fear in any of us.

to be honest, its usually the guys in my guild as well causing a ruckus, not the few other female members that I have in my guild as well. out of the 200+ members of my guild i think that maybe 7 or 8 of them are female? and we all usually sit in the back ground chuckling as the boys go to town with their own perverted discussions, not instigated by us women. there are no "e-cockteases" in my guild, and there are no instances of the men fighting over the women like cave men trying to claim their prizes. we all manage to coexist in a harmonious environment, raiding and grouping together, and generally having a good time as friends.

I don't even play WoW. Although some of my best friends do. Really, they're people too, and I don't think of them any differently than, say...well, okay so maybe a little differently. But still close friends.
I do, however, play Matrix Online (yeah I know, the redheaded stepchild of SOE), and on our faction forums someone happened to post a link about some porn star getting booted from WoW. Morbid curiosity....had to look....then link after link drew me in until I found one that brought me here last night. Then I spent the next hour or so reading this thread (laughing kept me from going faster) then checking out the rest of your forums. Quite nifty. So I was drunk and decided to post my own opinions on several random things and registered....then couldn't post jack. Didn't realize til now that oh wow! I can post anonymously....just not while I'm actually logged in. What a trip, I like being able to stir the pot without consequences.
So yeah after that excessively long intro that really had nothing to do with the topic (screwdrivers really get me going - I'd apologize but it would be a lie, I enjoy writing and drinking), um....where was I? Oh yeah. Lantesh, I like your writing, you have a good head on your shoulders. But lighten up a little, lmao these guys have been yanking your chain and you've been going everywhere they lead you like a little puppy on a leash.
Now no one has taken the defense of the cocktease here. What about the poor blond bimbos that want attention? Those girls who come in to hug and kiss and wiggle butt just to have 5 or 10 guys go afk for 7.5 minutes while they take care of business. Those girls (or let's face it, 'guys'...) are people too. They help keep prostates cleaned out (a big deal in today's society. I think), help to set up assassinations of enemy bases (gotta love the sexy alts) and generally promote a nice feeling of warmth....even if it is only in your pants and it gets cold and sticky after a while.
But seriously (kind of anyway), I'm female, blond (yeah guess that means I'm emo too, eat your heart out), flirty with everyone. Great for making contacts and setting up events between our faction and others. Um, guild, whatever. No problems with guys taking it too far (other than the random 15 year old that shows up at my doorstep), because I'm like that with everyone. Hah I think I've figured out every possible way to pervert the animations to get as sexy as possible, and I'm damn proud of it. Screenshots are wonderful to play with. Fraps too. So what's wrong with turning part of the game into a den of iniquity? Sex is part of life too. Man I wish they had thigh highs in MxO. But yeah, nothing wrong with setting a couple up to do some incredibly hot moves...right in the middle of where the enemy is going to come rolling along...then when they come and they're either gaping or hacking at the naked couple, you can swoop down on them and catch them with their pants down!
