When I say changed I mean it is no longer reporting what is in the slot via environment using slots like 4001+ (for me)

Newb here, I've only been playing for 5 months so i'm still learning. Could anyone explain how to use this wonderful program to get from 300-350. I just made it to 300 in jewelry crafting, and I was reading you have to learn recipes in order to advance from 300-350. How do i learn those recipes via tcn? Does tcn upload those recipes directly to my recipe book? Thanks in advance for the advice.

If you go to the Craft -> Artisan tab, you can then select one of the Tradeskills you want. It will then compare what your toon knows against what the recipe database has, and then allow you to try to make any of those recipes you have the components for. The screen below is normally how I have ti setup to run, but you can also check the Recipe limit where it says 10 below, change that to 100, so it will try 100 at a time.

Because the recipes check box is unchecked it will do ALL of it, I made it so you could do manageable chunks 10 to 100 so you are not flooded with eleventy billion recipes.

Occasionally I accidentally close the window (I think by hitting the Esc key). Is there a way to reopen it? I'm pretty new with it and end out camping out to restart the Lua.

So.. it will get the quest and do the quest with whatever you got, it will also show a list of things you are missing to complete the quest, you need to farm the missing non-store bought items.

If the Lua somehow just became paused,

/lua pause tcn

will bring the UI back.

If it's still running and won't let your restart, or won't bring the UI back, then

/lua stop tcn

will stop it.

And then you can just

/lua run tcn

to start it back up again

What race are you?

It filters some recipes based on who or what you are because you can't make them unless you are the who or what (and illusions too play a factor).. (most likely)

Gotta be elf..... if they removed the restriction I can change the requirement..

I’m have that isqlite issue as well with Epiclaziness and I have no clue how to fix it. Spent money to use it and I can’t figure it out or get it to work.

I have seen rumblings about this, it seems to be an integral part of more than just TCN, from what I gather it has to do with the installation of sqlite via luarocks. I am not sure if it is an issue with the individual system or something else. I have run this on a 'clean' system within the last month and all seemed well.

you purchase TCN first and then recipe packs. It shouldn't allow you to buy recipe packs unless you have TCN already.

Something VERY wonky going on.... attempting to do a batch... had 8 items in window and it was taking forever to process the batch list, around 30 seconds for each item. Then the Missing totals were way off. So I redid it with one item and this is what I got...



so somewhere the math isn't mathing!!

Swithing to standard crafting mode and typing in the afore mentioned ring, and this was the result!

And when attempting to select one to craft, I get this pop-up

So, it looks like somehow you got dups for the recipes added to the DB. are you able to exit TCN instances and just run /Lua run sorupd.Lua ?

Then loaded up TCN normally and it appears to be working again. Can't test it right now because I made everything by hand after the afore mentioned issues...

I looked at the recipe, it looks ok, so I am going to guess that you have the items and it is tweakin' or you don't have the items and it is tweakin'

i had all the items, i had to make it manually. it has done it 3 of the last 4 times I've used it. I will be happy to do whatever you need to figure out what the gremlins are. It only does it when tinkering. It would not make poxysmit's box, the battery, or the belt.

Batch mode allows you to pick recipes based on expansion and tradeskill.

My searches frequently return duplicate / redundant recipes and when this happens the craft button doesn't execute. Am I doing something wrong? When I hover my mouse cursor over the recipes it gives me the message below.

ensure TCN is not running in any open instance on your PC, then /Lua run sorupd.Lua in one window, it should wipe the slate clean. The issue is multiple entries of recipes are being entered into the database. The cause could be from a list, running the update in multiple windows, running TCN on startup in multiple windows concurrently, etc. This to my knowledge has never happened to me. I specifically say during the update to remove entries by the expansion update you are running and to remove component entries specifically by ID.

A scenario that would be wild to do /dggae /Lua run sorupd.Lua .. something like that. I wouldn't do this if even one or more other characters ore on the same computer in another window.

I apologize if this question was already asked but is there anyway additional (smithing) stations could be added to the script in PoK? It gets quite crowded by the small bank. I tried to craft in the building beside the small bank that has 4 smithing vendors and 3 forges but my toon just trots back to the small bank forge.

There was a time when I had it 'random' to other forges, but it was not efficient. The route most people take or I think they take is to modify settings in TCN to craft in the GH which uses your stations away from everyone else.

and when I say GH I mean not the basic one, I mean you or someone has a grand or palatial or whatever and if you set it in TCN it will use that GH and stations.
