Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt 4.1991b

This is only happening for some of my boxes, but for a few, when I select an item to craft, set parameters and click on craft, nothing happens. When I select the item to craft, I see the acknowledgment in the MQ console, but nothing appears when I click craft. Any ideas what I might be missing? Especially since it runs on other characters just fine.
sometimes i have to hit the button twice, sometimes i have to reload the Lua. Not sure the circumstances you are beginning with.

Got stuck making infinite egg whites/yolks again. was during this recipe. It even pulled all my eggs out of the bank to do it. Not sure if it is making them on purpose or cause of some weird loop. I put eggs back in bank and it stops doing it.

Without knowing anything I am going to guess it has to do with the ID and what is showing up on the cursor first, the yolk or the white.

You have fashioned the items together to create something new: Velious Gratin.
General Supply Merchant says, 'Welcome to my shop, Thedoktor. You would probably find a Spell: Ether Shield handy.'
General Supply Merchant told you, 'I'll give you 1 copper per Velious Gratin'
You receive 1 copper from General Supply Merchant for the Velious Gratin(s).
You no longer have a target.
Requesting favorite recipes...
You can no longer advance your skill from making this item.

I went to go make an egg yolk and it made White, then yolk. its not a learned recipe apparently. Had to make it manually.

Another thing I am noticing, when doing artisan baking, it's doing the Ice of Velious ice creams to learn the recipes and then selling them to a vendor, then making the ice cream again for the ice cream cake recipes using temporary ice.

Yeah the prize.db skips all lower ice cream recipes (ice), and makes the IoV recipes because there are no workarounds, it then makes any other ice cream with temp ice. As it saves IoV, which kinda doesn't matter anymore at this stage of the game.

The selling aspect is to try to keep the bags clean, there was a lot of work done to skip recipes to help with that so the parent recipe is made and the other recipe is made during the process as to not clutter up the bags.

Here is what it all looks like. The Missing, Bank, and Depot tabs are red like that with No Data messages. But I have all the ingredients in my inventory, so not sure what I am missing.

Edit: I have tried restarting the Lua as well as my EQ client, but no luck. Must be something specific to this recipe since others seem to work.
Second edit: Also, strangely, a recipe that worked on one of my other characters does not work on other characters, so I am very confused.

You have 0 skill, you need a skill of 1 to at least try. I would recommend doing the GOD/TSS and then trophy quests.

Check the requirements tab

There are 3 recipes that use egg white and egg yolk together, and 5 overall. I will look at ways to ID specific recipes (an array) to correctly make egg stuff.

There is a right way and then there is my way.

items you make/on cursor are on your inventory list. Could you check inventory for item(s) you wanted to make instead of checking the item actively on your cursor, or would that cause issues with items with similar names?

Doing whatever with the egg makes both so, I can be lazy and just change (recipe used with item ID) it to the one that is made first or do something else.

Meaning whenever it makes the item it will always go with the egg white and presume it made the egg yolk as an indicator of a successful craft for the inventory.

It is learned (known already) so UI searchable, but the text entries are not correct in the DB, so I am changing them.

Yeah this one and Brodder's Remedy, they are the only ones that need a yolk and not an egg white also. so It keeps looking for the Egg Yolk when the Egg White is on the cursor, working on a remedy.

The only thing is I didn't see the text for the eggmageddon, I just saw the message for the auto inventory or whatever that thing is, from what I can tell even if it makes the egg white first , it would see that it has the egg yolk in inventory sooner or later and stop. I discourage any other plugins while it is running. Not having the right name would cause it to experiment every time but it wouldn't explain why it would continue after it has the yolks..

Either way I am looking at logic to address it specifically based on the recipe.

The question I have is does it just keep combining eggs in the bowl or does it close the bowl and then open it again, that will tell me if it is the calling Lua or the craft Lua.

I am guessing it is craft. as it goes back to my original theory about it never sees the proper ID. I am manufacturing some code.

Might have missed something, but is there not a way on Artisan's Prize maxing to simply be like "Attempt all 600 recipes." Mine always stops after 100. So like quits after 101/699 or whatever it might be.

One thing I've run into specifically with Smithing is that it won't always do the sub-combines necessary to complete the possible recipes. I've found this true with a lot of the velium items and items such as the Forged Firebrand stuff. I have all of the requisite materials, but have to manually go in and make some of the sub-combines for this to see them as applicable recipes.

There is a checkbox next to the drop down of recipe count, uncheck the box and it will do everything.

There is a checkbox at the bottom for a limit on the number of recipes to attempt. Uncheck that checkbox is what I always do to try them all.

Thanks! Working great. Snagged your LS, NoS, ToB addons as well… believe that I’ve added those in properly, though I didn’t see the number of potential TCN recipes go up 😅 I thought I’d see like Starborne Lychee Juice (as an example) within Brewing to contribute toward the known recipes needed

As a best practice, is it best to just hit go, or is there a “better/ideal” method. Like generating the entire list and snagging vendor bought stuff maybe? Just curious how people have experimented to make it the most efficient.

recipes post TOL are not in the 350 path, I made an executive decision to have you make those on your own, most likely in batch so you are not trying to figure out what to do with it during a run (sell, destroy, bank, etc...)

One of these days I will probably post a tutorial how to do for post-TOL but it has never been a major issue. It is bad enough it wants you to make all that armor and stuff, the prize.db file has a lot of skipped items, some are skipped since they are made as the result of another combine, and some are skipped based on rarity.'

doing 50-100 at a time and generating a list is helpful unless you are ready to camp everything everywhere all at once. It is a process that can take a bit of time. What I generally do is do the whole list one time and then sort missing farmed items by the largest quantity, I get a lot of whatever that is, and then later on I go for the smaller numbers.

First I'd like to give a shout out to all here at RG who make this possible. ( my first post here ) Don't think I could ever play EQ again without the plugins. Recently came back 2 months ago after a 2 year break.

On to my problem, Yesterday I Purchased my first Lua- Tradeskill Construction Set Next. Can't seem to get it up and running. I am not computer smart. I spent hours yesterday trying to search the problem with no luck. In my searches, I did figure out that you need to download Lua to get the Luas to work, and still no change. I have a feeling that I may need to do a full reboot on the computer ( if that's what its called-delete everything and start over) I say that as I have 2 drives C and D. D is storage, and where I put EQ. RG is on C. Don't ask why I did that, long story. I would like to avoid the reboot, but will if that's the recommendation.I saw a similar problem in Epic Laziness with the Isqlite3 not found, but didn't notice what the fix was for that person. I may have made things worse. I said there was no change after downloading Lua. After that download and more searching, trying different things I now get the Bouncing: MQ2DanNet plugin, Unloaded: MQ2danNet plugin, Loaded: MQ2DanNet in between trying /Lua run tcgsetup and /Lua run tcn. Don't know if that's normal or not. Wasn't in there before. I did download the File TCN4.188b that goes with the TCSN Lua.

I'm hoping there's a simple fix to this, that i have missed. Again not computer smart. Currently I'm just basically plug n Play here. I run a 6 box-SK, Monk, Ber, Bard, Mag and Sham. SK on sic tank and rest on Chase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will answer any questions the best I can.

Sorry for the horrible post and if its in the wrong section.

This should be moved to the TCN forums. However what you are describing sounds like you have a bad install (eithe mq stuff in eq folder, or the sql package wasnt placed right. You did let the launcher (legacy or redfetch) place all the files?

I'm guessing no. I have manually unzipped several different files in different folders on both drives hoping to notice a change with no luck. I tried to get everything on to the D drive, not knowing that i cant run everthing from that drive.

Judging by your response and my lack of knowledge, I'm guessing the best thing to do is uninstall everything and reinstall everything onto C drive where it should be and was all before.

When you first run the init and if sqlite is not installed, it should prompt you to do so, it is quite possible that files being in different locations is the culprit.

The init.Lua is running from "/Lua run tcn" which is good, but from there it all goes downhill. at the very least it looks like the plugins are working, Lua is working, and the TCN itself is in the proper directory structure.

I uninstalled EQ and RG, searched for all and any files related to delete them. Reinstalled everything onto C drive. So far everything appears to be working. Thank you. =)

spitball flowchart, check everything in inventory, bank, depot, avail vendors, run all that against everything *on demand*.. wait.. spit out a list? or pick an item and then it finds all possible things that can be made with that, spit out list?

Search bar you can type in a component and then see what it makes

All the bullshit "whatever sliver of heroism" stuff I have to eqtraders to see what I can make, but that's down, and Allah's is behind paywall

While waiting you can use this by the ID of the item you want to find out about using DB Browser (preferred) - Execute SQL

Code:
SELECT * FROM MasterCompTable
JOIN MasterRecipetable
  ON MasterCompTable.RecipeID = MasterRecipeTable.RecipeID
WHERE MasterCompTable.ItemId = 8160;

or things that are like that using:

Code:
SELECT * FROM MasterCompTable
JOIN MasterRecipetable
  ON MasterCompTable.RecipeID = MasterRecipeTable.RecipeID
WHERE MasterCompTable.ItemName LIKE '%cheese%'

So upon using the item lookup, I think this is it. I type or select a character it gives me a list or things like the component and then I select one and it shows me every associated recipe?.. just need to get newer expansions in there if they are not.

Adding in LS and TOB for lookups
