I was trying to access the path to 300 tailoring recipes. I put them in search but nothing comes up. I use the exact name you use. This was my question.
Make sure you are in the ‘Craft’ -> “Standard” tab, then search in there. I usually search for only part of the name, then favorite the recipes for whatever I am working on at the time.

On the utilities tab if I click Anti-Lev on and then click it back off I get a client crash. I've tried it 3 times and it always happens. Not a huge deal but I thought you'd want to know. On live, in the guild hall, standard EQ UI.

Here's the crash report:

if the OnUnloadPlugin is to be taken seriously, then I am stymied since the lev util uses a slash command, I guess it is categorized as a plugin? I increased the delay as a test, same results. I did a quick look through the MQ plugins and didn't see a levitate, but that doesn't mean it ain't there or that I saw it.

I have been having trouble with the Shoulder/Back tailoring items from LS

I add them to my batch list, and it skips them, in both instances saying that im missing the Half-Moon Cut Reflective Emberquartz Crystal
cant make 39155 notification (out of materials

from the LSO thread:

One possible scenario is that it is not updating the main DB, the other scenario being it is using an OLD LSO DB instead of the latest, the way to figure that out is to open the update DB and check for halfmoon emberquartz. I fixed this last year 12/30, so I am at a loss as to why this might be happening. I will say if it 'sees' you have a version of LSO or NOS it will not try to update those upon running TCN. I will also add in, if you have any toon that has 'locked' the DB on the same machine it won't update until there are no instances having a hold on the DB.

Thanks, got it sorted, while i have been watching the database upgrade for download still seemed I only had the dec 23 version applied.
Have done it manually and all is well, thank you!

I am working on the 350 path for baking, and only have 16 more receipes I need to learn (according to eqrecipes). I compared the list they showed of what I can use to skill up, and found some recipes not being considered during the artisan run for baking. In TCN I only show 72 possible recipes to skill up. I think a lot of the missing recipes are the new Serene line of recipes, so I am doing those manually to finish up. Are the new LS recipes considered as part of the Artisan line of recipes?

List of 115 Baking recipes you haven't learned yet :
You need to learn exactly 16 more recipes from the list below (115 recipes) to get to 350 Baking

I have the same issue on Brewing, TCN shows 68 recipes left to learn, while eqrecipes shows 92.

List of 92 Brewing recipes you haven't learned yet :
You need to learn exactly 20 more recipes from the list below (92 recipes) to get to 350 Brewing. Let me know if you want the list I am getting from eqrecipes.

So 350 in the lists goes to ToL.. the general method is to just add 1 batch of everything for an expansion and a skill..

So 350 in the lists goes to ToL.. the general method is to just add 1 batch of everything for an expansion and a skill..
The quick reason is so people that didn't have the expansions wouldn't get bum recipes, but I am sure there can be some way... as they say this is the way

A cheap reason was you can make all the new stuff when you want at your leisure as to manage , not like the 350 assembly line method..

Like armor for new expansions some use batch to crank out sets or a specific type.. I know lame excuse

I am trying to figure out the way to do batches, but I am missing something. I do an execute query, click the add button to the left, it says adding at the top, but never shows a button to execute the batch that I can see.

Hello. First I'd like to thank you for this great looking project. But alas it's not the only reason I'm here today.
I've only just started using TCN so I may be doing something wrong.
I'm currently using on EMU and everything works well in standard as long as I don't abort crafting.
Once I stop crafting, I can no longer make the rolls. Only the fish appear on the cursor (then oven), never the bat wing. Then a message that it's the wrong container (or similar).
The funny thing is, the fish showes in the second slot of the oven.
I've also tried with the Bear Sandwich, and no luck once it stops the first time.
I can close and reopoen TCN, and no change.
It requires me to camp to the selection screen and then return to continue.

I'm hoping that there is an easy fix. If not, it's going to take a little longer to get through the tradeskills. 😟

Thanks for listening, let me know if you need anything.

It could be environment, plugins, etc..

#1 - no custom UI's, use the default even if it is onerous
#2 - no auto do anything with the cursor, it does it all for you (plugins, macros, other Luas)
#3 - please define the EMU?
#4 - Is it a live server?

an accompanying video would bring your issue to life in greater detail as well.

Thank you so much for your quick reply.

Attached:

Vid of issue starting from fresh login, move to AFK (for oven)
Vid of all plugins and status
Pic Lua Task Manager
I changed to default UI. (normally Sparxx144)

The EMU is Project Lazarus Server.
To the best of my knowledge I have no Macros which directly interact with the mouse/inventory.

Let me know if I can provide more to help.

I have never tested on Lazarus so I would not even know what to expect. So I will say this, you are the pioneer with this one.

I've got an issue I hope you can help with. I moved over to a new server and am building up my toons from scratch. Started running them through the GOD trade skill quests. The first toon I started with had a CTD doing the pottery quest. I've narrowed it down to when it gets to the 2nd combine of a batch of wayfarer mugs, at the kiln when it tries to add the seal. I've been able to replicate it on 2 toons. I'm running one through all the other skills now but haven't had any issues besides that.

As a follow up I did the wayfarer mug manually then started up again and things are running smooth.

Okay. I wasn't sure if it was something you've come across.
I'll just alter the jobs until I have time to dig deeper.

Thank for looking at it.

Is it possible to upload a list of items to make in the batch section? If so, are there any instructions on how to accomplish? Thanks
You can just add manually to a list and it will save it for use later in the batch tab, or you can add just one item and save it and then edit the text file, with the parms you want, with qty, ID,etc..

basically it needs to be in the format in the file, that is the "upload"

Can you PLEASE change the code so that if the next combine is a blacksmithing combine, it does not swap out your Adamantine Hammer? Just move the check to the new combine.... Please??

The non-code way is to use the house trophy and it will auto use it from the real estate. It is coded to use trophies.

The way it is now, would require a bit of a rewrite. Since, each item is sent to the crafting machine, and the crafting machine swaps trophies per set of combines. A quick look tells me, I could put the trophy swapping code in the feeder prior to the craft.main call and do recipe checks to see what it is and if the next recipe is the same skill to not do anything by keeping track of what I already have in the slot. I am sure there is more to it, but I like to do 30 second spit-balling. No it's not a gross thing, don't make it a gross thing.

but suspecting would need to modify quests and other stuff since everything was done in the craft module..

I'm in agreement with the whole trophy swapping thing, it really slows things down AND is visible to any bystanders.

Another speed issue I'm hoping that can be addressed is the time between purchasing multiple items off the same vendor, it's pretty much 10 seconds between purchases and with research it can easily be 4 to 8 (or more) items for a single combine. That eats a lot of time! Is there a way to reduce that or even make it user adjustable?

Many thanks for all the hard work!

the major part of that is accounting for lag, slow whatever, and to be sure the item is being selected. The delays can be adjusted but would have varying results.

The current easy way is to put trophies in your house, TCN will activate trophy benefits. Other than that. I need to take a deeper look to make sure I don't flub stuff up in the process..

Kinda figured that, making it user adjustable could help out with that, if it's a laggy night/time, adjust it up, down when things are going smoothly.

That's good if you have all your trophies maxxed, but I might be working 300+ skill on one toon while others farm raw materials for trophy maxxing on other toons, and still have more farming missing components for the 300+ push. I like to stay busy!! It's not a rush, for sure, just some commentary. Take your time, get it right! Really do appreciate all the hard work.

If I made it user configurable then, who knows what happens, if I make it adaptive, then, it probably will be all over the place.

Everything is a good idea at the time, but now since I have it in a modularized fashion, I can move routines around to optimize. Just need to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. Change is constant, but not always good.

Hey Jb, chiming in with another ask, but I do appreciate your work and would use it even if it had lots of bugs. :)

So... it appears that you cannot use "Continue" and "Sell/Destroy" at the same time. The app sells/destroys the item, then noticed that 1 was wanted, but only 0 are found, and tries to make it again at which point I exited, seeing an endless loop ahead.

Not a huge deal now that I know about it, but any attention to this would be welcome. I find the sell/destroy option a huge help, but also like the continue option.

Well continue and destroy would never make the amount, by design.. it would however reach a trivial, of 300<=

I am trying to see the UI in my mind since I don't have it on screen..

I imagine continue is to reach an amount, continue with other options is to try to reach a trivial while maintaining inventory space and destroying (pottery) or selling (jewelry) as examples.

Under the standard tab

This is in the Artisan Craft area. I'll post screenshots tomorrow.

Yeah Artisan is different..

If it is trying to succeed with continue and destroy and it doesn't register that it was successful, that is no bueno..

Ok, I was wrong. This happened on a one-off combine - I was starting a new batch of 100 recipes for Baking Artisan, and noticed Crab Omelet was still at the front of the list, so decided to just make it as a standalone. My settings were Destroy, Sell, and Continue. MQ log output is below, but basically it made the item, destroyed it, then began to make another.

Firstly, loving the Lua

Have noticed a few things though. The “abort” button doesn’t seem to do anything in the artisan craft tab. I can spam it for a minute and my guy keeps trying to craft. Let me know if there’s a way to get more info on this if needed

I also noticed he was making 170+ egg whites for a lemon meringue pie last night. Had to exit and restart the Lua and he seemed to realize he had enough egg whites at that point. I can try to destroy the egg whites I have in inventory and craft another to see if it hangs up in the precombines again when I get home from work

Can you look at the pathing in POK? I try to run the artisan quests especially smithing and constantly get stuck between the stove and the kiln. This is the kiln/forge in the area just east of the small bank with Dogle Pitt

That is a function of MQ2Nav, and your PoK navmesh file needs to be adjusted.

This would and should require a code review, as I recall I was baking in it here and there where I thought it would have the most impact, my cheap work around is to just hit restart, or stop and then run again. But I can look specifically at instances in Artisan and look for ways for abort to take effect.
