Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (1 Viewer) 4.1991b

So I set it to do all the GoD tradeskills since I am on rizlona, and it keeps doing the wayfarer plate even tho its saying I can no longer advance

So I set it to do all the GoD tradeskills since I am on rizlona, and it keeps doing the wayfarer plate even tho its saying I can no longer advance

and it is supposed too

needs 100 complete successes of each craft to be considered done for that quest

Under Artisan, why would you need to Bank items used to max out the prize? I thought it was based on skill ups?

Under Artisan, why would you need to Bank items used to max out the prize? I thought it was based on skill ups?

It applies to sub-combines primarily if an unfired item is used in a fired item, it banks it, the reason, it makes 20+ other unfireds and then it gets to the fired based on the order so I figured stock up the bank and grab it when you need it. I suppose I could change the order, this comes from the http://eqrecipes.free.fr/ site

The main logic, we may not know the order of when it is going to call for that sub-item so we wouldn't want our bags to fill up, additionaly, some items are not used in the TS being performed but are used to max another TS so it banks it, keeping the bags 'clean'

However, you can go uncheck the bank checkbox and it will just keep everything in inventory.

Getting This crash. Not sure whats going on?

That's a head scratcher. It is trying to make the Jeweler's Glass, and that is a known recipe. Taking a look.

Can you try to make the jewelers glass without running the artisan? I am testing it out.

That is like the 1,092 recipe, how you didn't make a jeweler's glass before that is mind-boggling. :(

I have one in my inventory. I put it in the bank and re-running.

Well, I tested it on a toon that never made one, and it is making it during the 350 run, so there is something to be worked out of having one , but not making it yourself.

In the interim I would give it to someone else, or put it in hoard, guild bank or house for now. going forward.

I was able to recreate the issue.. I will see what I can do.

So, if you already have the tool it won't crash anymore in the next release..

Hi, can I request a feature? When we search for a recipe, could we have a 'queue' button alongside the 'craft' button? Toss it in a temporary list and run through it (thinking about all the gear that needs to be crafted now)

Could you expound on that a little, what would the queue button do exactly?

Hi sorry, I definitely was too brief. Essentially I want to queue up some crafts and make them all in one go. So instead of crafting the item immediately, it would add it to a temporary list that I could craft all in one go. e.g. queue up two faded earrings, two faded rings, a faded neck.... a faded pair of boots, or whatever I need to make for a particular characters upgrade, once I've queued all items it would make each item in the quantity I've queued.

Or a similar feature where I can specify in a ini or file a list of items to make and have it make them.

Thanks

The way it works now is it does a check for faction, vendors, (gnome, rogue, shaman) check, inventory, bank, and cycles through every recipe to make that one recipe. I imagine something like that could be added, it would run similar to the way the 350 max run goes..

That was on my roadmap for Batch DND, so I could make it happen sooner without the DnD I guess.

Yeah that was my thinking, just leverage the underlying system that makes a list of recipes but provide a user defined list of recipes to make in a one shot fashion, either through the ui or some configuration.

Doesn't have to trump any of your other priorities, just throwing it out there.

Love the cultural forge/loom/sewing kit additions!

Noticed while doing "Unfired Idol (Tunare)" i told it to make 500, and as I crafteyd them it results in "Unfired Idol" and doesn't auto update the count in Inv(0). Which was fine by me, I was mass producing for skillups anyway. I suspect a few other items produce similarly.

The next question: I'm moving on the Ruby Encrusted steins, but I need blocks of magic clay. It requires an enchanter (which I have). Is there a way to get the enchanter to go enchant all of these so I dont hafta? I tried the "request missing components" bit. but since the ench didnt have them on her, she did a lot of nothing. and I dont see an option to get the chanter to run around and enchant things. Even using the chanter to make (via pottery search) to make blocks of magic clay, she won't because an enchanter needs to make them... O.o

This is what people are using for now..

I am using 2.102b and I am getting We have the tool, in inventory or in the bank please pick another recipe.

I am trying to make a Pie Tin. Solution?

I am on 10 shots of vodka, non eq what are we talking about?
I like your style. Too bad it's vodka, but to each our own =)

Found a broken recipe for action.. at a later time and date. Unfired Star Ruby Encrusted Stein seems to fail to combine so far. Rather the subcombines are having a fit. Subcombine is a Large Block of Magic Clay (3 regular blocks + water). I gave the toon a few thousand regular sized blocks of magic clay, told it to go make steins. It bought the vendor things (water mostly), ran to a potter and the console output was "[TCSNeXt] [Crafting] [Large Block of Magic Clay]" however it was crafting SMALL blocks, instead of large, then when it was done making big things into little (instead of big into bigger), it decided it was done and banked things.

I noticed this after about 2000 combines, so once the little things are reconsitited into big big things ill see if it gets fussy with having large blocks already on hand. I thinkt he covnersions might be wonky. But enjoy the vodka for now!

Hi jb321,

Just purchased and trying to install it.

I noticed extracting the zip files gave 3 folders: tradeskill, TSC, and TSCShoppingList. These are the same folder names of the Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) macro (which I also purchased) by jande. I would like to keep both yours and the one by jande if possible. How do I do it without replacing the folders with the same names?

Thanks

OK. I follow more on the instructions:
1) download the zip file.
2) unzip it to my C:\RedGuideNext1t > Release > Lua folder
3) It shows 3 folders : tradeskill, TSC, TSCShoppingLists and a TSC.mac file
4) Try /Lua run tcg -- Could not find script at path C:\RegGuidesNext1\Release\Lua\tcg.Lua

Looks like tcg is not there?

5) I try as suggested to install the vc-redist_x86.exe (included), and restart the computer

6) Tried /Lua run tcg --- same as 4)

Please help and thanks

I think you are confusing tsc.mac with tcg.Lua

You should have a tcg.Lua file in your Lua folder, also in the Lua folder should be a TCN folder with ShoppingLists and Working folder with other Lua files.

3) It shows 3 folders : tradeskill, TSC, TSCShoppingLists and a TSC.mac file (this is the old tradeskill construction set macro)

I didn't know back then I would have similiarly named products, however, I did ensure they have different directory structures, anything with TSC / tradeskill is the old freeware product.

The new one should be in Lua and have TCN off the Lua dir with TCN\Working and TCN\Shoppinglists

OK. I deleted the files in the Lua folder, then re-unzip the files from the download, and put them in the Lua folder. Now looks like all the files are there, including tcg.Lua.

Did the /Lua run tcg and the TCNGUI2.102b pop up and seems like its working. Will test it out tomorrow.

Thanks for the help, and a Merry Christmas to you.
