Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (2 Viewers) 4.1991b

So I have been working tailoring 66% in, and my skill ups are not going up, stuck at 312. I know it is not TCN but is anyone else experiencing this issue? I sent a petition to DBG, just seeing if anyone else is having this issue.
You should see one skillup every 20ish new tailoring recipes in TCN. Was working fine for me a few days ago.

Yes, was working fine. But I just checked, and my last skillup was...312 🙃 so it might be "a thing".
Look they did it with this, I don't want no DBG excuses:

How much memory did the computer that went to the moon have?

The fixed memory contained the programs, constants and landmark coordinates using 36,864 terms or words, each of 15 bits length. That came to a grand total of 74 kilobytes of memory.

Will be assessing the "fixes" from DBG regarding the delays, will be looking to reduce or eliminate the arbitrary delays, this would please CWTN.

I am attempting to finish my Master Toxicologist Test on my rogue, and I am having issues with the Lua trying to make the Soul Burn item over and over. It also wants to try and make the Susceptible Essence, but it is short material. I have about 5 of the Soul Burn potions in my inventory now. Let me know if you need more information to debug.

Ok so it is trying to make something it already turned in, correct?

The way it is supposed to work is it keeps trying to do the "create" until it is done or until it runs out of materials and then tries the next "create" item. After, it will then deliver whatever it can..

I looked at the quest entry on ZAM and it "seems" ok.. but that can be misleading...

Yes it was trying to create something it had already turned in. I went ahead and just crafted them manually, then turned in the remaining items, so got past it,

Another bug, not sure you can really do anything about it. I was doing a mass vendor list for Alchemy recipes to 350, and when it generated the Vendor list, I tried saving to an existing file, that I still had opened in Excel. The EQ client crashed immediately. I know it was my own fault, but was wondering if there was a check you can do before the save to see if the file is writeable, or that you can get exclusive access to it.

Yeah I remember this, I tried to put in a visual cue to show it was saved, as Lua and Excel are 2 different animals and I did another look and Lua can save and open files. However, I would have to kill the process or have some other means (API).

I'll look at each recipe, the other thing that happens, or at least to me, is sometimes for whatever reason it gets "confused" (as in all the items don't show up properly from the quest journal to the Lua)...

Your SS appeared to be in order.

My lame excuse is 99% of my toons do the beginner and call it good.

Do you have any other food or cursor manipulation anything going on? What was the recipe or item it was trying to get?
Sorry been afk a couple days. I have not encountered this error since, but I have been crashing a LOT using TCN. Currently doing tailoring if that helps at all. No cursor movement of any kind. This is where it crashed again for the second time. Sorry it isn't full screen I move my TCN off to the side to see whats happening.

Update as of this morning. No crash re-running. Could have just been an exception.

On your "standard" crafting page you just select the "fired" version. On the artisan, I believe it will complete the fired version if it qualifies towards the recipe count.

So, any info as to how that resolved? Seen on your latest screencap that you are now at 340+ :-)

My educated guess on this is that I had to do a TON of subcombines that counted towards my total count, but did not count towards the artisan count, if that makes any sense. Once I got above the 1500ish mark, more like 1550, it started going up every 12-15 combines...now I am at the final stages and it seems to be going up just fine.

Ah ok :) I believe it's only relevant if the counter of learned recipes in TCN goes up. Glad to see that everything is working fine!

I have another bug report for you :) I am a software developer myself, so I definitely understand these.

I was on the craft tab, looking up the recipe for a tailoring combine to skill up to 300. I selected the recipe, checked the info box, and the window popped up. I dragged the info window to the main TCN window, where it docked as another tab. Then that TCN window started flickering and I couldn't do anything with the window. I had to run /Lua stop TCN to stop the script.

I then restarted it, but when I checked the box for the info window, it appeared docked to the TCN window, and started flickering again immediately.

The counter goes up for successful final combines. However, other successes will not count on the counter but will count towards the artisan goal if they are of the same skill (rambling)

I would call this a "doesn't play well with others" more so than a bug. I didn't design it with others in mind, especially since I don't know what others will do. I do know it is doing that or think it is based on forcing/focus for a tab in the TCN window. I can take a look at it at a later time as it is at the annoying stage and not the end of days stage.. LS is coming and I want to see what shenanigans are coming for tradeskills, or if they are just here, new expansion, good luck.

For baking... there are 3 recipes for Ice, which is used in a metric ton of recipes... TCN is defaulting to prescribing the ice is made the hard ware, but a Tinkerer device... when there is an easier way to make it with Ice of Velious. The recipe is in the TCN DB too, its just not the one the software is choosing when calculating missing mats. I recommend setting the Velious Ice recipe to be the default.

For a manual override, users can make about 80 units if Ice by searching for ice, and scrolling down the one that uses Ice of Velious. This should unlock a bunch of ice cream and ice cream cake recipes for you.
Ok after remembering I wasn't so dumb in the past, I do have all the Ice recipes there. All that being said, I did make the conscious effort to protect you from yourselves. I am government and we are here to protect you.

All recipes that would use IoV to make ice were and still are replaced by the tinkered item. So whoever just has IoV or Empowered IoV to use those and/or put them in batch with ice cream recipes that use Ice.

However, There are 57 recipes that use Ice (just plain ice) if you replace the Sub-recipe ID with 91155 in the MasterCompTable it will use Ice of Velious for those. I would make a copy of the DB so you can rename it just for that purpose when a new release comes out. There are other options out there but not trending in that direction at this moment.
