Nope, it is just a good way to show the communities appreciation of the time and effort the developers put into maintaining the software.

No, but as a person who used to do the compiles here years ago, I can tell you firsthand the amount of work and time that goes into it, especially after a giant patch. Just the fact that Brainiac and the crew here have gotten it up and running so fast on such a consistent basis is amazing. They deserve all the tips we can muster, and more. This was a big patch, so likely had a bunch of changes on the backend that need to be addressed before they can safely put out a new compile. Just be patient, and if you can, toss them a tip for their hard work. Trust me, I've got the itch, too, but I'm happy to wait until they have it ready to go, especially since this is a passion project and everyone has day jobs and such.
