While a little silly, I have to say I have complained many times that they don't advertise. Well, might not be the best way, but its something. With the right, entertaining persona could be a good advertisement. One good viral and could bring in players, retaining, well.. who knows.
I would make some vids, but they wouldn't like me playing RG style, nor Emu style.. and I'm not gonna play Looking For Group on camera for boring vids. What I can do is like stand up and scratch my bum like an ogre.....Viral hit. Hmm, maybe I can be a star.

sigh, yes, it is sad they dont just want embrace the boxing play style & community. would be soooo good for them and we boxer players would be best help to them!
i would love love love to see some big twitch channel of boxer using mq!
i would bet real $$$, that if they have like 50 normal EQ player and ONE boxing player start channel on twitch right now, this would be result in 6 month: the ONE boxing player will have more viewer than ALL other 50 normal EQ player combine.
DBG have goldmine in front yard and they telling all the neybors who want to help them dig it up for free "no, there is no goldmine, go away".

This is corporate speak for, "We're so cool, come work for us for free!!!". Don't do it without meaningful compensation IMO.
lol.. you know this is an interesting idea.... run a channel while lfg to show how dead shit is
you dont have to make vids showing your game play you could do something as simple as making lore videos with a slide show and your voice like how weshammer makes 40k videos. i highly doubt anyone on this website will qualify because of the have to be in good standing with the tos rule but you could do it anyways.
ps dont steal my original idea to rip off weshammer and make eq lore videos ill get around to it some day i swear.
Won't hide it. Folks tossed me the link and I threw my hat into the ring though I already get a check from YT for other content. Really would do this as a side project because I love old school EQ and the old school MMO community. I wish they would be more friendly to boxers who play in good faith though. I wish I could be a positive force for change in that direction. I've met some great people in the RG community and on some of the EMU servers. My home server on live is pretty much on life support last time I logged in.
Why bother joining the program? They're basically asking for full control over your content. They can reject sponsorships and have your monetization pulled on videos. Seems like a really one-sided relationship. All you would get is a 1-free expansion and a handful of Darkpaw Dollars, and a sub-forum/Discord channel where they'll ignore you like the Community Council.
You are probably spot on Nunyo.
On the off chance it got accepted, I'd run this by my assigned Youtube community manager to see if it passes the sniff test.
Though ya know, if they wouldn't accept Sic, they really aren't going to like any of my content from the Laz server.
On that note, I probably need to brush up on my Lua.

See my earlier of comment, don't work for free, insist on meaningful compensation. What they are offering is insulting.
That would be an accurate representation of the game though. Perhaps if they want interesting creators... they could modernize the game?
Other content ideas that would get zero views:
* Camping Venril Sathir's remains
* Farming 10,000 tradeskill items by hand
* Waiting for complete heal to finish casting
* Turning on auto-attack and going afk for 3 hours later when Eom Weirdname Xakra dies
