Shaman - Shaman Healer

This is a non stop Shaman Healer. Its INI driven to work with 90+. At 95 it can chain heal non stop. At 100 you get Swells for Massive AE healing. At 101 you get Roar of the Lion added ect...
Its a Single target healer that will cast a Frostbitten Gift (Line Spell) and then Squall (Line Spell) when Twincast buff is on. It will Canni when needed and continue to heal.
It performs very well. Great for group or Xtarget Healing. ** Does NOT auto target for you**

It casts the following Spells / Abilities:
1. Frostbitten Gift
2. Spiritual Squall
3. Reckless Rejuvenation
4. Reckless Regeneration
5. Dissident Roar
6. Cannibalization

I personally use this macro on my shaman during raids. Normally tops the healing parse.
I manually swap over to my shaman and pause the macro to cast epic and other burns as needed then turn the macro back on.

Attached is the parse from last night doing RoS T1 Cactus raid.

You are wasting your time with frostbitten gift, only the first surge of swell is twincast
 
@jande Im not entirely sure of that only 1 of the 3 waves gets the benefit of twinheal BUT another good benefit to casting this spell is Pack of Mirtuk will proc off this spell giving some added DPS, without doing anything besides having the AA Unity buff up.
 
@jande just did some testing with Frostbitten Gift...…..When the shaman has the song window buff "Healing Twincast" then followed by Spiritual Squall, 6 total swells go off (3 waves of double heals)…..WITHOUT "Healing Twincast" buff on ONLY 3 total swells go off. The benefit of this spell (Frostbitten Gift) SHOULD ALWAYS be cast before Squall/Swell.

Looks nice, I don't raid so maybe a dumb question here, why no Renewal? Renewal+Lion seems like huge healing plus the synergy proc...waste of time/mana or too slow casting for a raid environment?

Aye, there is very little down time in the current rotation. Maybe 1 second at a point. Any cast added would slow down the Frost / Squall rotation therefore making overall healing less.

Adding Roar of the Lion and Cloud of Renewal would slow down the Squalls by at least 6 seconds. Over a long fight that = a tun of healing lost.
Also Dissident Roar is in the heal lineup, Cant add Roar of the Lion. Same timer as far as i know.

Aipoc76 updated Shaman Healer with a new update entry:

Added ini support for level 90 - 100

1. Cleaned up the code some.
2. Removed the Holding Spam. You will only get told 1 time now when holding for a target.
3. Added support for level 90 + (best to be 95+). This is ini driven for spell selection. At 95 it can chain heal non stop. At 100 you get Swells for Massive AE healing. At 101 you get Roar of the Lion added

You need both files to run.

My bad I meant Dissident :) Thanks for the info about the raid environment, I use pretty much the same logic + Renewal/Dissident stacked but thats the group game which I'm sure is a lot slower/smaller damage intake.
 
Just tested this on my 100 shaman, it healed like crazy. I am definitely going to use it religiously. I like that it goes on hold when you target an npc and then goes back to healing when you target a player.

That's from alliance going off. if the tank has alliance on, he splashes the raid every time he's healed essentially. when it fulminates it's a huge heal. the main tank should make the heal parse pretty much every time.
 
warriors get huge heals from Alliance, promised remedy, and cureat's retort.

Darn Uberbroodling beat me as i was typing :)
 
I’m thinking about getting my shammy the new expansion (when it pops) and checking this out.

I guess the INI didn't transfer with revision update. Will fix when I can. Can't do from my phone sorry. Until I can get it fixed the file is in the 1.2 history download.

For the shaman topping the healing parse on raids, is he in a dps grp or MT grp?
if in a dps grp what support does shammy have to give grp besides epic and them catching Wave heals since renewal isnt part of macro?
 
@dealings Pretty sure shaman was in a DPS group for that parse. For ADPS, shamans have epic, spire, ancestral aid, and roar....might be forgetting some.
 
was just messing w the idea of casting those 4 spells
set them all to weave on a key (4 spells)
spam that key :)
target player
spam key
casts gift
squall
2 reckless

for spam healing on raids also using aa to twincast and crit heals etc

Gonna have to try this one asap. Atm trying a group with dru and sham as healer. lacking some heal sometimes. That macro is the answer it seems.

yes i have, and have even wrote it to do so. I just have not released it. By doing that it kills the out of group MT healing therefore changing the entire mac.
